I don't have any theories, except of the ongoing agenda to destroy everything, and to create more fear and uncertainty, so that we can't rely on anything. I noticed the story myself as I've been aware of several news items mentioning 'one million' for many different reasons, and I wondered if they were connected / meant something.

Observations
BBC Parliament MP's are holding an evidence session on the right to privacy and the use of digital data. I find these sessions so interesting and educational, it's miles better than the theatre and bluster of PMQ's which will take tbe days headlines as usual Lord Kamall the Health and Social Care Minister is giving evidence and answering questions now. He mentioned Facebook data ... vaccine hesitancy ... and trust, saying without it people will want to opt out. He referred to ... "If these people spend their lives studying this and they're warning about it, I think we should listen" Dr Mark Toal, The National Institute for Health Research - was asked a question by Concervative Katherine Fletcher, about people wanting to know that data won't be collecting information to kill people. To create an extreme example to explore the subject. And ... "Are you commercialising the NHS?" "I'm going to play Devil's advocate, just so people don't think I really believe this" - she goes on to describe the creation of the NHS after the war, and financing it Lord Kamal answers; The NHS can't do everything itself and it has to work with partners ... one of the benefits will be money ... I missed some of the reply.

Cineworld said it took the decision to cancel all showings of The Lady of Heaven to “ensure the safety of our staff and customers”. The cancellation was criticised by a House of Lords peer as being “disastrous for the arts, dangerous for free speech”.

Anyone else think there is some other ulterior motive for wanting so many old cars back to be "checked"? (I don't have a Merc so no personal interest in it, just wondering about the agenda). Well they want to push people to buy electric car... They could upgrade the software on the car's ecu to increase fuel consumption so the owners would get fed up. Or code some weird electrical glitches in to be triggered 6 or 7 months down the line. Who knows? and the car industry is so corrupt I wouldn't put it past them to do something like this.

Nemuri Kyoshiro
Two British men captured when serving in the Ukrainian armed forces, have been sentenced to death by a Russian military tribunal. According to the Guardian, the men claim they were serving as regular Ukrainian marines and thus entitled to protection as POWs. Not so, say the Russian, who treated them as mercenaries. Does Ukraine have a legit foreign legion like France or did these guys go there following the media hype to help Ukraine? I don't know the answer to that but if they are mercenaries, they're lucky they actually got a trial. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jun/09/britons-sentenced-to-death-russian-occupied-ukraine-aiden-aslin-shaun-pinner

If they are Ukrainians, as they claim, the it's their problem.

Observations
After the indoor smoking ban in 2007 I took an interest in the anti smoking campaigns in the past and looked briefly into Hitler / Germany, the UK before that, China before that. It starts with the same questions, Why? And I wonder if..? It's another bloody hornets nest Definitely worth a look, adds some perspective. Observations
On BBC news, have a look at the 17th century ship wreck discovery. Wonderful interview with the two brothers who discovered it in 2007 ! It's been kept a secret for 15 years! This is typical. You tell people things and they say oh no it could never be kept a secret, someone would blab. No one blabbed! Because this was a security issue and they didn't want anyone stealing from the shipwreck site. The brothers family didn't spill the beans. I'm sidetracked A university representative said this was a crucial insight into 17th century history and mentioned what happened in that era to the monarcy, the strength of parliament and our constitution. I enjoyed the retelling of the discovery, the smiles and the excitement. A nicely mixed bag here, for me anyway
