The police are still responsible for investigating crimes against children; the investigation of crimes against children isn’t something that is allowed to be outsourced to social services. Such cases should involve two sets of legal proceedings. Social services are responsible for the child’s welfare and make use of family courts where judgements are made on ‘the balance of probabilities’, and the police should be initiating criminal proceedings where allegations have to be proven ‘beyond reasonable doubt’. Both agencies have badly failed that child. This has just been posted and I've noticed it's a street where I drive when I am deliverying stuff. In the article it mentions of a bank and bookmaker..... there is none of it on this road. Check it with google streeview. And I'd ask if the gunman was reported, how the fuck it took 15 mins to get from there to outside of the palace gate? Surely bank or boomaker who reported didn't see which black cab the gunman got in? Did they take the registration number? How were they able to tracked the cab amongst all the other black cabs on a busy road? My point was not to suggest what they are but to point out the fact that you won't be able to find an actual photograph, like you can take with your phone of anything from space.
