WANTED: Men named over Birmingham Gay Village attack We’ve identified three men we want to speak to over a violent assault in Birmingham’s Gay Village in which two men were attacked with bottles. It happened in the early hours of last Sunday Morning (15 Aug) in Bromsgrove Street after a group of men hurled homophobic abuse at the pair from a passing car. The offenders grabbed one of their mobile phones and then attacked them with bottles, knocking one unconscious and leaving the other with nasty cuts. A few others said that they bet the perpetrators were Islamists, but were shouted down for being the bigots they 'obviously' were. Now, if they dare break their silence, those same virtue signallers will be calling for re-education and giving the accused a free pass because they were victims themselves - victims of extremist teachers misrepresenting the religion of peace.
