Piero
A couple days ago, I walked past a building site and was astonished to see construction workers, wearing high viz vests and hard hats, looking at a reflection of themselves, on a screen, as they went through a gate to enter the site. It was facial recognition.
Piero
Facial recognition for construction sites https://www.biositesystems.com/en/solutions/biometric-access-control Quote: Biosite Facial Recognition for construction has been developed to support sites looking for a convenient, contactless access control system utilising the latest biometric technology. Designed by our in-house experts to seamlessly integrate with existing Biosite Access Control systems, Biosite Facial Recognition for construction delivers the same high-performance benefits expected from all our solutions. It is completely contactless, with no secondary authentication required and features optional integrated temperature measurement. ======= Another site notes that facial recognition was seen in spy films, so spy novel enthusiasts can rejoice because what was the stuff of science fiction before, has now become a reality: "A scene about facial recognition is a must have for any current spy action movie films like Mission Impossible. Almost all are familiar with a staple scene where the spy hero attempts to break into a highly classified building that uses facial recognition as security using a high tech mask to fool the machine into accepting the facial biometrics. Spy novel enthusiasts rejoice because what was the stuff of science fiction before, that now has become a reality. [...] A construction site, especially for massive projects, is a large place, where there is a lot of expensive assets (equipment, materials etc.) to secure. In addition to this, it can be a dangerous place, full of untold dangers, especially to people who are not familiar with the site. The introduction of facial recognition can help alleviate this problem by making sure that only authorized personnel can enter these areas." https://www.talk-business.co.uk/2019/02/26/facial-recognition-in-construction-how-does-it-work/ Edited June 17 by Piero

The situation now has been reaching boiling points for months though as a result of major demographic change etc because of immigration. Except that the media have been deliberately using the Roma word but hinting its Romanian. Roma are gypsies claiming to be original Irish. Immigrants are allowed into southern Ireland then get in buses to the north where they cause mayhem locally. Ireland has let in huge amounts of immigrants (mostly young men as usual) When I lived in Ireland gypsies and "travellers" were all looked on as spongers and criminals. The local nickname for them is "knackers" 1

So how about all the illegal / cheap labour used in those sites? Where will all those guys work? Will it lead to more crime if they can't get jobs? Construction is about profit. This is again about dismantling the economy with a back door method. Making sure only the big guys subsidised and linked to govt survive. Anti Facts Sir
Of course. The whole thing was pre-planned. From TV brainwashing to councils readying traffic and town-centre arrangements for the pre-planned lockdowns, to shops immediately coming up with detailed "public safety" signage and PVC screens. Fair play to GBN for bringing it to the wider attention of anyone who didn't see right through it back then....limited hangout, mind you.

Grumpy Owl
Two stories here that point out something glaringly wrong with this country. Illegal immigrant caught at £21k cannabis factory applies for asylum in the UK Quote An illegal immigrant caught manning a secret £21,000 cannabis farm has been locked up. Albanian national Jetnor Dani was asleep inside a terraced house in Wolverhampton when police stormed the hidden drugs den. Cannabis plants were uncovered in the loft, with Dani tasked with 'maintaining' the 'substantial operation'. The convict has now been jailed for his part in the running of the drugs factory - but it is understood he has applied for asylum in the UK and is waiting the outcome of his application. David Martin-Sperry, defending, said Dani had made an 'asylum claim'. But Mr Martin-Sperry said he had been given 'limited' information by the defendant, adding: "I have no instruction on how he came to be doing what he was doing." He added: "It looks as though he was not involved at a pretty high level at all. "It's apparent that he had instructions that he was not to go into any other parts of the building." Sentencing, Judge Michael Chambers KC said Dani came to the UK illegally and so had 'no right to work or prospect of employment'. from: https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/black-country/illegal-immigrant-caught-21k-cannabis-31913865 Gunman who fired shotgun at Solihull home and claimed: 'I was forced to work at cannabis farm' Quote Donaldo Mateau fired a sawn-off shotgun at an Olton home in July last year. The 35-year-old, who pulled up in a van, climbed out and pointed the gun at the house. He fired two shots before fleeing the scene. Mateau, of no fixed address, has now been jailed for 12 and a half years. Police said: "When officers interviewed Mateau, he denied being responsible for the shooting or knowing anything about it "He said he had been inside the cannabis farm being forced to work tending the plants, knowing nothing of the guns." Mateau had been captured on CCTV using the van involved in the shooting earlier that evening to drive to a nearby pub, police added. "He was also spotted changing and replacing the number plates on the van," the force said. from: https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/gunman-who-fired-shotgun-solihull-31925894 One Albanian, and the other presumably Romanian from their name. Why do we keep these unwanted criminals here in our country? It's good that they have been found guilty of committing crime, but why are we wasting taxpayers money housing them in our prisons, when we should be deporting them back to their own country, where they can serve time in prison there? These people are found working at cannabis farms, it's not mentioned in the articles but are the police even interrogating them as to who the 'ringleaders' are? I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm getting pretty fed up with reading about Albanians being involved in illegal activity. So much for "taking back control" of our borders after Brexit, the UK is nothing more than a 'dumping ground' for European miscreants, and its no wonder our prisons are full when we keep letting them in, and don't deport them.
