Well, this was a lot of years ago, and these days everyone has a degree, so being over qulaified might not still be an issue. But, esp if it's impossible to check (for example, the last school I went to has closed down, so I could change dates and say I was head girl; firms I've worked for have closed, etc), it might be worth trying to fit your CV to the job spec more exactly. Might help to hint that you are gay or a muslim, of course. I can claim woke credentials, if necessary, with my 10 second cameo in the White Riot documentary. The main response has been possible "supermax" prisons for apparently the most violent offenders and "calls for US-style prison controls". At an airport, explosions going off. Almost looks like it was demolished deliberately. From reports it looks to be a vehicle upholstery factory but images seem to show it to be empty, with nothing that could cause explosions ie no burnt out cars. Why would an empty factory cause such a ferocious blaze? Burning evidence? Also right next to the runway, convenient position for picking things up and dropping things off, unnoticed.... I paid scant attention to these latest stories, as I just thought it was only more political gimmickry. However, maybe you are on to something there. Maybe they are looking for the U.K. to create a new base(s) abroad, only at a small scale to begin with, as a cover for an alternative use in the future. This is indeed what has happened and is being currently expended on in the U.S.. More domestic prisons are currently being built in the U.K. as well.
