lobster
1 hour ago, Mazthehobo said: From what I can read up on January wildfires are not the usual occurrence/ A mixture of drought and some high winds with the supersized Santa Ana winds is one theory. It sounds reasonable, drought and high winds seem to equal a fire that spreads quickly, it doesnt need high temps, Though the sugestion glabal warming is to blame is a bit tenuous, Edited January 9 by lobster
lobster
A lot of the problem is that wild fires are a natural and of benefit to the eco system feature, the issue comes when you build a whole suburb of wooden houses in the forest, with out fire breaks. Its rather like building on flood plane and being surprised when it gets flooded

Climate change occurrence. Direct Energy Weapon? Intentional arson? I am sure that much of it was intentional arson. Motive? I don't know, but the climate change alarm bell will always be rung, regardless of whether climate change scaremongering was the primary motive behind such an 'event' or not. The method used to initiate the arson? Who knows. I would only say that if you have dry conditions and high winds, then one arsehole with just one match can easily cause carnage. numnuts
I feel like tracking this guy down, taking him for a pint of beer and telling him 'Mate, just let it go'. Some time in the late 2000's I heard about Bitcoin mining. On the basis of 'I can't lose anything', I was going to look in to it. I never did though. Am I in the slightest bit bothered, if I had done, that I could now have hundreds of millions of pounds in my pockets? No, not at all. I would say exactly the same thing, if I was in this guy's shoes today. For me, it is somewhat reminiscent of 'The KLF' duo burning all of that money, then moaning about it years later. Who cares? It's done and dusted. Just let it go. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj0r0dvgpy0o 'Man told he can't recover £598m of Bitcoin from tip.' A judge has thrown out a man's attempt to sue a council to recover from a rubbish tip a Bitcoin hard drive that is now worth about £598m. James Howells had argued that his former partner had mistakenly dumped the hard drive containing a Bitcoin wallet in 2013, and he wanted to access the site and recover the cryptocurrency. But Newport council asked a High Court judge to strike out Mr Howells' legal action to access the landfill or get £495m in compensation. Judge Keyser KC said there were no "reasonable grounds" for bringing the claim and "no realistic prospect" of succeeding at a full trial. Insurance companies have been cancelling quite a few policies or making them so expensive they are unaffordable to continue paying. If she was fighting fit, she probably could do, but even if that was a man in that low level of fitness, he couldn't do it. So they shouldn't be hired.

Interesting… a man has been detained for starting one of the fires. No evidence (yet) that the others were started deliberately. And the main area hit is a ‘working class area.’ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cg7z9zjv90jt Also mentions a alert which was mistakenly sent to all LA residents. It does look shocking though. Like something from a movie.
Hegel Schmegel
Is Donald Trump a crypto-globalist, or a super-patriot into expansionism? You would think an isolationist president would be all for other nation-states maintaining their national sovereignty, and yet ever since POTUS was re-elected he's been talking about wanting to make Canada a 51st state. Merely the mad ravings of an impotent blowhard? And yet, this is exactly what someone with a globalist agenda would want -- namely, the amalgamating of two western countries, which in such a scenario would be only one step from basically a North American Union, the near-equivalent of the EU. As a Canuck myself, it is bad enough we had one head of state in league with globalist parties like the World Economic Forum. We certainly don't need another south of the border attempting to bring North America down as well, if that is what's going on here. Maybe the next PM should strongly consider erecting a giant wall along the Canadian border, if only to make a point that cocky Mister Tariffs can go screw himself. Viva Canada!
Katsika
From Natural News: California fires just produced a dioxin cloud that will contaminate the food supply Today we bring you alarming news about the California fires burning down nearly 5,000 buildings (and counting). Every one of these buildings, when burned, releases dioxins into the atmosphere. Dioxins cause cancer at extremely low concentrations. This dioxin cloud will fall on California's Central Valley areas, in some cases, and will contaminate the food supply with cancer chemicals. So in addition to the economic devastation being carried out by whoever created the conditions for these deliberate fires, we're also talking about widespread food contamination -- something even larger than the East Palestine train wreck situation from more than a year earlier. I have full details in today's broadcast, plus a powerful new interview with Doc Pete Chambers. Find it all here.

LastOneLeftInTheCounty
Yep it’s all been conveniently tied up and explained away by the bbc, they showed how the mountains surrounding LA usually look barren and brown this time last year, but because of unprecedented rainfall and ‘climate change’ the area (shown as a green and plentiful satellite image) is covered in drying vegetation creating a ‘tinderbox’ just waiting to destroy infrastructure. It’s climate change folks, nothing to see here….

Shook his hand I did! I know, it probably deserves its own thread…… my bad. I met Gareth at the Trafalgar Square anti-lockdown demonstration in August 2020 along with DI and Jaymie. In a crowd of tens of thousands, I happened to be in the right place at the right time. At another demonstration in the summer of 2021, a (now sadly departed) friend and I were sat at Hyde Park Corner talking about the time we had met Gareth a few months before. Who turned up right at that moment? Gareth of course, although we didn't get to speak to him that time. I'm glad you got to shake his hand. :)
