Johnny Somali, a 24-year-old American YouTuber, has sparked outrage after he was seen kissing a statue that represented Korean women who were victims of sexual assault during the era of the Japanese occupation of Korea. During a visit to the Changdong History and Culture Park in Seoul, the YouTuber thoughtlessly kissed and posed with the statue.

 

On October 9, he uploaded a video showing himself kissing the Statue of Peace in Itaewon, central Seoul, while also performing an inappropriate dance to the music of P-Diddy in front of and upon the monument, as he rubbed baby oil on his bare chest.

 

As reported by The Korea Times, Somali conveyed his remorse for his actions in a video shared by the YouTube channel Jcompany. But as with previous apology videos, he was insincere.

 

His list of offences carries on as Somali deliberately sought to provoke South Koreans, including Kyung Hee University students and bystanders, by displaying a drawing of the Japanese rising sun flag, a symbol widely considered offensive in the country due to its ties to Japan’s wartime aggression. He also played explicit content loudly while riding the subway.

 

On a bus, he further provoked passengers by playing North Korean songs. When confronted by citizens, Somali responded with racist comments and demanded they speak to him in English.

 

 

 

CONSEQUENCES

 

There's now an on going $700 reward for his location, which has had him repeatedly tracked, located and knocked out by angry Korean bounty streamers.

They literally get paid to perform live on camera. So it's no surprise that the more outrageous their acts the more viewers and more contributions they receive. They then must compete with other IRL streamers and so the bar keeps on getting raised until their behaviour becomes so outrageous, offensive and even criminal that they end up getting into trouble, fights and even going to jail or worse.

 

They are literally, paid idiots.

 

Although filming in public is legal and when confronted about their behaviour they say crap like, 'I'm steaming, I'm working, my followers told me to do it, is my job'...

What happens when an atmospheric river and a “bomb cyclone” happen at the same time?  Unfortunately, millions of people living on the west coast are about to find out.  Extremely high winds, massive amounts of rain, and blizzard conditions in the mountains are being forecast for the days ahead, but nobody is quite sure exactly how this extremely unusual weather event is going to play out.

Over the past few years, weather patterns all over the planet have been going completely insane, and now it is happening again.

It is very rare for an atmospheric river and a “bomb cyclone” to occur simultaneously, but that is precisely what we are witnessing…

The arrival of an atmospheric river – a long, narrow band of heavy moisture from the tropics – coincides with conditions in the Pacific where a polar air mass collides with a tropical air mass, causing the atmospheric pressure to drop quickly. Meteorologists call such low-pressure systems a bomb cyclogenesis, bombogenesis, or a bomb cyclone, which intensifies the storm and increases its winds.

It would be bad enough to be facing an atmospheric river and a “bomb cyclone” at the same time, but it turns out that both of them are also immensely powerful.

According to meteorologist Ryan Maue, this is a “Category 5 atmospheric river”, and the central pressure of the “bomb cyclone” will drop so low that it will be “similar” to a Category 4 hurricane…

A massive “bomb cyclone” is set to explode off the U.S. West Coast with hurricane force winds, flooding rains, and enormous mountain snow from Category 5 atmospheric river.

Central pressure will fall almost 70 mb / 24 hours reaching 942 mb — similar to Category 4 hurricane.

I had a very difficult time processing that when I first read it.

We have never seen anything like this before.

Ryan Maue is a very highly respected meteorologist, and I have no reason to doubt what he is saying.

He is also telling us that approximately 20 trillion gallons of moisture will be dumped on the U.S. over the next week…

Just in the next 7-days from the “climate fueled” atmospheric river and mega “bomb cyclone”

8 Trillion gallons of precipitation will fall on California
5T on Oregon and 3T on Washington + 2.5T on Idaho

Pushing 20 Trillion gallons from this extreme event.

This has the potential to be a historic disaster.

According to Accuweather, it is being projected that the central pressure of the “bomb cyclone” will “crash from 29.53 inches (1000 mb) to at least 28.05 inches (950 mb) in 24 hours”…

The storm will strengthen so fast that it will fit into a special category of weather terminology known as a bomb cyclone. A storm, or cyclone, is essentially a giant spinning vacuum in the atmosphere. When a storm’s central pressure drops 0.71 of an inch of mercury inches (24 millibars) or more in 24 hours or less, it is considered to be a bomb cyclone.

“This storm’s central pressure is forecast to crash from 29.53 inches (1000 mb) to at least 28.05 inches (950 mb) in 24 hours, which is double the criteria for a bomb cyclone,” AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Heather Zehr said.

We have seen “bomb cyclones” before.

But I have never heard of a storm’s central pressure falling so fast that it actually doubles the criteria for a bomb cyclone.

That is nuts.

We are being told that the hardest hit areas along the west coast will be “between the San Francisco Bay area and Eureka, California”…

The heaviest impacts, classified by the University of California, San Diego as “extreme,” will be between the San Francisco Bay area and Eureka, California, according to WeatherNation. Strong impacts from the storm are expected as far north as central Oregon and as far south as Salinas, California. These include high winds, heavy rain, and the potential for flash flooding.

But that doesn’t mean that you will be able to relax if you live outside of the target zone.

For example, a blizzard warning has been issued for the Cascade mountains outside of Seattle…

The National Weather Service in Seattle issued a blizzard warning for the Cascade mountain passes starting Tuesday, cautioning residents and travelers of hazardous conditions set to begin on Tuesday afternoon.

The warning takes effect from 4 p.m. Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday for elevations above 2,500 feet, and includes areas such as Hamilton, Concrete, Lyman, Morton and Darrington.

I think that this storm has the potential to do an enormous amount of economic damage.

Sadly, we just keep getting hit by highly destructive storms over and over again.

The number of “billion dollars disasters” reached an all-time record high in 2023, and it looks like we will set another new all-time record in 2024.

Many people are convinced that this is just a temporary phenomenon and that things will eventually return to normal.

Of course that is not true at all.

The truth is that we really are living in the end times, and natural disasters are going to continue to get even more powerful and even more destructive.

In fact, what we have been through so far is nothing compared to what is eventually coming.

So buckle up and try to enjoy the ride, because our planet and everything on it will be greatly shaken during the years ahead.

Britain has worst life expectancy in western Europe

Life expectancy stagnated during pandemic but has fallen since, OECD figures show

 

The United Kingdom has the worst life expectancy in western Europe, a report has revealed.

 

People born in Great Britain and Northern Ireland can expect to live until about 80.9 years old, according to the latest data.

 

This puts the UK behind the average of 81.5 years for the 27 countries across the European Union, and last among western European countries, the analysis from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) found.

 

for people born in Britain had stagnated in the decade leading up to the pandemic but have fallen since.

 

The most recent analysis from the Office for National Statistics puts life expectancy in England and Wales for men at 79 years and women at 83 years for 2021-23.

 

This is about six months and three months shorter, respectively, than it was for 2017-19, which remains the highest level on record.

 

 

Experts have previously blamed Britain’s obesity epidemic and the growing burden of preventable illness on the reduced life expectancy, as well as the excess deaths seen in the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the OECD report, called Health at a Glance: Europe 2024, reveals how the UK has fallen behind peers on the continent, with most other countries having recovered to pre-pandemic levels.

 

Switzerland leads the way with an average life expectancy of 84.2 years, followed closely by Spain at 84 years and Italy at 83.8 – all about three or more years longer than the UK, which ranked 21st out of 39 countries across Europe.

As well as having shorter life expectancies than the Nordic states, France, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, and the rest of western Europe, the UK is also lagging behind Malta, Cyprus, Greece and Slovenia.

The lowest life expectancies reported were in Ukraine and Moldova at 73.4 and 73.3 years respectively but this was based on data from 2019. Georgia’s average life expectancy of 73.7 years was the lowest of those using data from 2022 or later.

The analysis found that the average life expectancy across the EU had increased by a year since last year, while the UK’s had increased by six months.

In last year’s OECD report, the researchers compared the UK with countries across the globe, where its 80.4 year average life expectancy put it behind other developed countries including New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea and Israel.

But I have never heard of a storm’s central pressure falling so fast that it actually doubles the criteria for a bomb cyclone.

We are being told that the hardest hit areas along the west coast will be “between the San Francisco Bay area and Eureka, California”…

The heaviest impacts, classified by the University of California, San Diego as “extreme,” will be between the San Francisco Bay area and Eureka, California, according to WeatherNation. Strong impacts from the storm are expected as far north as central Oregon and as far south as Salinas, California. These include high winds, heavy rain, and the potential for flash flooding.

But that doesn’t mean that you will be able to relax if you live outside of the target zone.

For example, a blizzard warning has been issued for the Cascade mountains outside of Seattle…

The National Weather Service in Seattle issued a blizzard warning for the Cascade mountain passes starting Tuesday, cautioning residents and travelers of hazardous conditions set to begin on Tuesday afternoon.

The warning takes effect from 4 p.m. Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday for elevations above 2,500 feet, and includes areas such as Hamilton, Concrete, Lyman, Morton and Darrington.

I think that this storm has the potential to do an enormous amount of economic damage.

Sadly, we just keep getting hit by highly destructive storms over and over again.

The number of “billion dollars disasters” reached an all-time record high in 2023, and it looks like we will set another new all-time record in 2024.

Many people are convinced that this is just a temporary phenomenon and that things will eventually return to normal.

Of course that is not true at all.

The truth is that we really are living in the end times, and natural disasters are going to continue to get even more powerful and even more destructive.

In fact, what we have been through so far is nothing compared to what is eventually coming.

So buckle up and try to enjoy the ride, because our planet and everything on it will be greatly shaken during the years ahead.

I went to Accuweather for San Francisco and all I could find was this warning for the next few days:

 

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM PST THURSDAY...

 

*WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

 

* WHERE...San Francisco and San Francisco Bay Shoreline, The Marin Hills, Western Sonoma County Hills, and Coastal North Bay Including Point Reyes National Seashore.

 

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 6 AM PST Thursday.

 

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. The combination of wind and moist soils will increase the risk for downed trees.

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
