43 year old creator of many cash-like instant payment services killed in supposed mugging:

https://nypost.com/2023/04/05/cash-app-founder-bob-lee-43-killed-in-san-francisco-stabbing/

The 43-year-old tech mogul, who formerly served as the chief technology officer of Square, was attacked in the city’s downtown Rincon Hill neighborhood at 2:35 a.m., according to San Francisco police.

Officers arrived to find the victim, later confirmed to be Lee by CBS News, with multiple stab wounds.

Lee was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, police told the outlet.

Hmm, so many heads of these alternative finance start-ups and companies are winding up dead in the last year.

That says more about the state of the top 40 than the crackdown.

I don't really understand the issue. People would go mad if white people were still treating black people like minstrels, but violent music that destroys the youth gets a pass because you can't criticize the label owners because of their background.

Yeah, whatever happened to 'nice' rap music by the likes of De La Soul, Arrested Development, Jurassic 5 or even the Beastie Boys?

I don't trust Beastie Boys because of their backgrounds and their obnoxious nature, and it has been years since I listened to those other groups so I would have to see if they have any subversive subject matter before I could comment. Even though I wouldn't say that they're wholesome, I guess they're still better than a lot stuff now.

It's all dripfeeding in my opinion, you can't go straight from tradition to total debased poison. A lot of older stuff paved the way for what we have now. I'm too redpilled on Hip Hop though, there's no going back for me.

I think a lot Rock is full of vulgar bad attitude too, so I'm not just pointing the finger at Hip Hop. Even a lot the softer indie type of Rock is full of hippy communist crap. I just hate the whole industry with a passion.

I'm not saying they're "wholesome", but its hiphop/rap music that doesn't glorify guns/violence/sex/money etc.

Regarding the Beastie Boys, I'm pretty sure their "obnoxious nature" was just part of their 'persona'. They're actually quite talented musicians, as well as their hiphop stuff, they've also done punk and even a jazz (sort-of) record.

I'm not denying their talent, they're just too leftist for me., and I don't understand why everything has to have a bad attitude. I think they're Bidenists too. I know they licensed music for his ad campaigns, so they're not against the system or anything. I should probably see what their view on Covid is too. I shall have to have a deepdive on their political views.

I don't really care about the political views of musicians. I listen to the likes of REM and Pearl Jam because they make really good music which I enjoy.

Agreed! I think most people think hip hop is rap, and rap is the commercialised, guns, money, violence, revenge, drugs, sex etc stuff. Whilst Hip Hop is and was a way of life, discussing things like physics, metaphysics, consciousness, philosophy, hidden history, government agendas, etc.

Hip Hop lyrics are meaningful, thoughtful, thought provoking, fun. Rap is utter bollocks. IMO of course :)

An example:

Give me the fortune, keep the fame," said my man Louis
I agreed, know what he mean because we live the truest lie
I asked him why we follow the law of the bluest eye
He looked at me, he thought about it
Was like, "I'm clueless, why?"
The question was rhetorical, the answer is horrible
Our morals are out of place and got our lives full of sorrow
And so tomorrow comin' later than usual
Waitin' on someone to pity us
While we findin' beauty in the hideous
They say money's the root of all evil but I can't tell
You know what I mean, pesos, francs, yens, cowrie shells, dollar bills
Or is it the mindstate that's ill?
Creating crime rates to fill the new prisons they build
Over money and religion there's more blood to spill
The wounds of slaves in cotton fields that never heal
What's the deal?
A lot of cats who buy records are straight broke
But my language universal they be recitin' my quotes
While R&B singers hit bad notes, we rock the boat
of thought, that my man Louis' statements just provoked
Caught up, in conversations of our personal worth
Brought up, through endangered species status on the planet Earth
Survival tactics means, bustin' gats to prove you hard
Your firearms are too short to box with God
Without faith, all of that is illusionary
Raise my son, no vindication of manhood necessary

[M.D.] Not strong
[T.K.] Only aggressive
[M.D.] Not free
[T.K.] We only licensed
[M.D.] Not compassionate, only polite
[T.K.] Now who the nicest?
[M.D.] Not good but well behaved
[T.K.] Chasin' after death
so we can call ourselves brave?
[M.D.] Still livin' like mental slaves
[both] Hidin' like thieves in the night from life
Illusions of oasis makin' you look twice
[both] Hidin' like thieves in the night from life
Illusions of oasis makin' you look twice

[Mos Def]
Yo, I'm sure that everybody out listenin' agree
That everything you see ain't really how it be
A lot of jokers out runnin' in place, chasin the style
Be a lot goin' on beneath the empty smile
Most cats in my area be lovin' the hysteria
Synthesized surface conceals the interior
America, land of opportunity, mirages and camouflages
More than usually -- speakin' loudly, sayin' nothin'
You confusin' me, you losin' me
Your game is twisted, want me enlisted -- in your usary
Foolishly, most men join the ranks cluelessly
Buffoonishly accept the deception, believe the perception
Reflection rarely seen across the surface of the lookin' glass
Walkin' the street, wonderin' who they be lookin' past
Lookin' gassed with them imported designer shades on
Stars shine bright, but the light -- rarely stays on
Same song, just remixed, different arrangement
Put you on a yacht but they won't call it a slave ship
Strangeness, you don't control this, you barely hold this
Screamin' brand new, when they just sanitized the old shit
Suppose it's, just another clever Jedi mind trick
That they been runnin' across stars through all the time with
I find it's distressin', there's never no in-between
We either niggaz or Kings
We either bitches or Queens
The deadly ritual seems immersed, in the perverse
Full of short attention spans, short tempers, and short skirts
Long barrel automatics released in short bursts
The length of black life is treated with short worth
Get yours first, them other niggaz secondary
That type of illin' that be fillin' up the cemetery
This life is temporary but the soul is eternal
Separate the real from the lie, let me learn you
Not strong, only aggressive, cause the power ain't directed
That's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive
Not free, we only licensed
Not live, we just excitin'
Cause the captors.. own the masters.. to what we writin'
Not compassionate, only polite, we well trained
Our sincerity's rehearsed in stage, it's just a game
Not good, but well behaved cause the ca-me-ra survey
most of the things that we think, do, or say
We chasin' after death just to call ourselves brave
But everyday, next man meet with the grave
I give a damn if any fan recall my legacy
I'm tryin' to live life in the sight of God's memory
Like that y'all

[Mos Def]
A lot of people don't understand the true criteria of things
Can't just accept the appearance
Have to get the true essence

[Talib Kweli]
They ain't lookin' around

Stop hidin', stop hidin', 'cause ain't no hidin' place

Same here. As a kid I would read all the media stuff on bands I like. Now I listen purely for inspiration and pleasure. Which band depends on the moment im living in.

I never asked before but have thought about it a bit. Is your profile photo a band? and if so who?

former Meta recruiter who has 'reinvented herself as a career coach' says she was paid $190,000 per year to do nothing, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Tampa, Florida-based Madelyn Machado, 33, said that during a typical day she would log on around 11 a.m. when her West Coast colleagues would show up for work, sit in meetings from Noon until 3:30 p.m., and then check LinkedIn for an hour before logging off.

This is very suspicious.

First, Trump is "arrested" and now this?

Is this the reason Sturgeon resigned from her post?

Is this a framing set up? Did she expose something she shouldn't have? Or not do something she was supposed to do?

...or could this be a genuine case?

I don't know anymore, especially due to the moon cycle and astrology aspects.

But this is all quite bizarre. I'm intrigued to see where this is going.

Those in control have done an excellent job in making things so muddled and difficult to judge for a reason.

I'm cynical about pretty much everyone from the media, to celebs, politicians. Like George Carlin said..."It's a big club and you ain't in it."

Carlin was just against the old world order, not the new one they're creating.

Think about it, he hated everything that could save America.

Sounds correct to me, question everything and everyone at all times.
