You don't need expensive power drinks unless you're a professional athlete and, there again, how did athletes manage in ancient times without a bottle of Prime?

Ah, but Lions and other fast running beasties are great motivators, besides they were drinking the Ambrosia and then selling their sweat on slaveday, old version of fleabay, 👍

Seven months in India. Drank water from bottles but watched out for when they were refilled and the lid made tacky with a flame. It gave the impression of a first opening. I ate a lot of fruit and veg, not trusting the meat quality. I got lucky. No major upsets.

We had water purification tablets too. I remember the old dodge of refilling water bottles too. I didn't touch meat either but it was so easy to get good vegetarian food there. In Kerala, the fish was great. We stayed in a smaller hotel on the beach and the cook would go out first thing and wave one of the fishing boats over to buy some of their catch. The cook was a bit mad and very much a perfectionist. He would pace anxiously as people were eating his food and he wouldn't calm down until he got a round of applause. It was a little ritual that we went through each night we were there. There was a cafe on Kovalam beach that served a good breakfast. My favourite was the French, which consisted of coffee, a croissant, butter, jam, and a gauloises (unfiltered).

If i went back to india i would take a metal thermos flask so that when i bought a bottle of water i could poor half of it into the thermos to keep it cool, then drink the other half from the bottle. I was there in the height of summer and water became warm in the bottle very quickly. I would also take a manual juice squeezer where you push a sliced half of fruit onto the squeezer and the juice goes through into a cup below. Then i could buy fresh fruit from the market and juice it myself which would be better than buying crappy fizzy drinks. An umbrella too is handy not only for monsoon rains but to keep off the sun at times too!

you call that an improvement

I'm not calling it anything besides aging, not before an extensive reverse image search to make sure that I'm not schizoposting anyway. That stuff does more harm than good to the so called "truther" community.

I should add that frail and elderly people do often have that problem around the eyes, but I still like to know where images come from.

Do the glowposters ever post image manips of the powerful elephants in the room, or is it usually Jacob Scapegoating Esau with deception by always pointing towards the West and Rome?

Every day I see this crap. I went to visit a relative in my hometown over Christmas, in a town that is no longer recognizable to me. I had a drink in a fast food chain and there was a bloody security guard at the door, and people just sit there eating like it's bloody normal.

Countries that don't glorify criminality and rap music seem more desirable with each passing day.

GB News headliners show also had an article about the Scottish police and the words Minor Attracted Person. Apparently this is a EU suggestion? One guest said we could use the term MA Paedophile instead.

Seeing it in the news; more normalisation.

Jan 2nd edit; this is a comedic look at the headlines so is often tongue in cheek / many a true word spoken in jest. It was not an endorsement at all. Leo did add, in all seriousness; "they're trying to add it as a sexual category".

Okay, I’m going to raise a question here as a news item grabbed my interest on 2nd January 2023, not by what it was actually telling me but by what the reports WEREN’T saying.

I’m guessing a few people will have seen reports of the hotel fire in Perth, Scotland where apparently 3 people and a dog were killed.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-64144080

Usually, reports coming out will at least give some indication of the nature of the people who died, ie tourists for New Year, holidaymakers etc but I can find NOTHING that alludes to who the people were who died.

Therefore, I have to ask the question, Were these people ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS or ASYLUM SEEKERS?

If anyone can cast any further light on this I’d be very interested to know.
