Looks to me oil prices coming down significantly. My price target is 55 USD and possibly lower. Interest rate increases take money out of the system so helps with inflation.

 

Personally I am more concerned with future deflation ATM. In deflation everyone loses.

How does deflation work and cause a problem?  It happens so rarely I can't remember a time when it was an issue. I was thinking about inflation yesterday; the govt and Bank of England has a target figure of about 2% inflation but why is that a good thing? Less money, and less economic growth so less jobs, prices assets down, velocity money will be low, salaries lower. Only people that really benefit are those with huge cash positions who can take advantage.

 

Edit. We essentially live in a debt based economy. You want to start a business you need debt. Less loans means less businesses, less economic growth, less jobs etc

But maybe deflation is a symptom of the depression rather than the cause, which is all that debt and hyped up profiteering which the big corporations do during the growth stage. Deflation would be the supply-and-demand equation trying to get itself back into balance. 

 

Like, house prices are extremely high at the moment which is effectively a wealth transfer from the young first time buyers to the older generation. Maybe a bit of deflation here wouldn't be such a bad thing. A house is a house after all, a home to live in, its value hasn't changed while its price has rocketed.

IQ differences in Sub-Saharan Africa + lack of impulse control. I know someone will think that sounds bigoted, but it's other Africans that complain the most about them, a quick keyword search on Twitter reveals this. I was redpilled on this when I was a teenager though, because gangs of like 30 of them used to roam my old town robbing eveyrone in broad daylight.

You are right. The problem is if you view the natural flow dynamic in supply and demand as a rubber band, naturally the economy has wanted to receed and rid itself of bad investment since 2008. Instead of letting it take its natural course the central bankster went the other way, printed insane amount of money and put interest rates close to zero and everything is over valued.

 

So the rubber band is beyond full stretch and they have nearly lost control. So if does twang it's gonna go the other way in a big way.

 

What should have been a bad natural recession in 2008 could now potentially be a great depression in the future unless something changes. Ie we need a lot more genuine growth and productivity.

Anyway, how much farther can they go with this legislation? What happens if you talk to a woman without permission? How do you determine the legal limit of a stare, or it’s intensity?

 

If you dare to wink, that’s an obscenity! God forbid you ask him/her/it out on a date! I can see the Metropolitan Police are going to have their work cut out, ridding society of….er….men!

Small Heath, Birmingham, or as I call it "Somal Heath"

 

Also around the Stratford Road in Sparkbrook, near where I work, most of the people you see congregating around the cafes are Africans, there is a large population of Eritreans, Ethiopians and Somalians there as well as in neighbouring Small Heath. It doesn't bother me, and I've never had any hassle, but you're right, they've created their own little ghetto there. The shops and cafes are all used by the local community, and I bet many residents don't even leave the area.

She had a 'fall' earlier in the week, which required some surgery as a result, and then she subsequently 'died' on Friday afternoon.

 

What gives? OK, at the age of 79 she's probably no spring chicken, but still, who expects to die following surgery after having a fall?

 

I could understand her death if she had been seriously ill for some time, but something doesn't seem right about this.

 

NHS medical negligence? A botched surgical operation? Deliberately 'bumped off'?

'Multicultural', 'melting pot', 'integration' and  'diversity' 'are good'. These and other slogans were used to prepare us for mass immigration. But imo humans are basically a tribal species and most want to live with their own kind (including middle-class liberals can be seen as a tribe). Bucking this truth only creates trouble.  We're all like that, the British too, eg when I go to the costas in Spain they have lots of English and Irish bars for the ex-pats as well as the tourists.  This knowledge isn't new, there's been ghettos and 'quarters' for millennia and anyone with a basic education in history knows this. Yet the postmodern progressives seem to think that this time it's different and we won't suffer inter-racial or communal conflict on a large scale.

probably broke her hip, having a general anaesthetic is always  risky but much more so with advancing age afaik.
