2 minutes silence tomorrow and Sunday.

I always notice the word sacrifice now.

This year we're asking the nation to pause, breathe and reflect on the service and sacrifices the Armed Forces make on our behalf.

I think this is a coded message. 😉

It means they are preparing for war.

Seriously, this is one of the 'top stories' featured on the BBC News homepage?

Twirls substituted in some Heroes chocolate boxes

I didn't know that Reach Plc had acquired BBC News, but the quality of 'journalism' is getting closer...

Who fucking cares what some dimwit writes on Twitter? THIS ISN'T NEWS!

Free advertisement on BBC.

It did make me wanting to reach out for a bar of chocolate so it worked. Thankfully I have one.

The anxiety in children advert has been on three times now.

Today I saw a bus promoting the paying of everyone's winter fuel bill.

The news about Quatar keeps saying fans are staying away. What a load of shit. I've heard that all before. Usually they go on about ... the stadium's not going to be ready in time ... Same old. Once the football starts it will mostly be forgotten. They just don't want anyone to be happy, and look toward to anything.

These are all news quotes in one section ...

"There was some hope today that the pain might ease from the man charged with controlling inflation" 😆

You would be forgiven for thinking that the bank had lost control of inflation

It would be even worse without the government subsidies

Partly because of covid and partly because of Ukraine

It's been widely accepted tonight that a missile strike was not ... appears to have been a cruel accident instead.?. The investigation is ongoing.?. We have no indication that ... the evidence suggests ...

Zelensky ... Now would be an unlikely time for him to pick a fight with NATO

There is a lesson from this Mary ...

I was catching up with some Womens football the other night...needed a break after the Euros to get my fitness back.....and it was the big game vs the USA. Loads of hype pre-match, lots of excited intros and buildup and then....

...they completely switch approach and mood, and drag up the serious sexual abuse of female players....thanks to weirdo purple hair attention-seeker Megan Rapinhoe. This goes on for some time...really nice for the little kids tuning in to see this massive match and be excited to see their new heroes on the pitch....instead it's gonna be "what's serious sexual abuse Mommy/Daddy?"....and the tone's totally altered.

But they weren't done, of course. Before the ball actually got kicked (think it was before midnight)....

Both teams wearing teal coloured (?) armbands (guess rainbows are old hat), holding up banners, then a minute's silence for the people killed at the game in Indonesia....and then a longer-than-usual taking of the knee..

I mean JESUS CHRIST, can we just play the bloody game?

Like you say, your comment about making children anxious an lowering their vibe is what reminded me of all this crap.

These people are taking kids natural born power and twisting it into something else. That incredible (enviable 😄) energy, creativity, enthusiasm, belief.

They teach them

There is something wrong with them

The world is over so there's no point in bothering

There is nowhere that they belong

They force them

to think about the future .. job .. climate.

to keep their opinions to theirselves instead of giving them courage to apeak up.

They don't allow them to be a part of something to be proud of

Chinese being ‘paid to marry Muslims in plan to wipe out Uyghurs’

"Local authorities are using financial incentives and blackmail to force Uyghurs and members of the Han majority into arranged marriages in China’s western Xinjiang region, according to a report by the Uyghur Human Rights Project (UHRP), a Washington-based nonprofit.

The report draws from official policy documents, social media posts and interviews with Uyghurs abroad.

Xinjiang officials have been offering cash rewards as well as housing and education subsidies, jobs and medical cover to Uyghur women willing to marry Han men – as well as reportedly threatening the women that they or their family could end up in internment camps if they refuse. "

Genocide by miscegenation, sounds familiar even if the tactics are different.

Why is Sunak wearing glasses, all of a sudden isn't it? And what's with Hunt. Don't like the devil / bloke, but recently watching a commons / panel debate and he looked more human than he does now. He looks like he's wired up? And keeps glancing to the right briefly. They're determined to tell us it won't last long, as if they could tell us how long even if it wasn't engineered. Anything to keep people quiet for another 2 years.

NLP has an explanation for this, if you want to believe it.

That's the same NLP used by sales people to 'read' us and get through our defences.

He's had an expensive "makeover" lately, according to the Daily Fail.

Always had that mad-eyed lunatic vibe about him, though.

Yes mad eyed lunatic 😆 that's it!

I see, yes tighter face perhaps. And dyed hair. Every bloke on tv uses the same colour? They rarely let them stay grey, but anyway.

I've only just finished listening to the 'Long Covid' debate in the Lords. I picked up a lot of info / updates. Must be a lunatic myself.

They are now on the success of national women's sports. That's more your area AFS 😉 Lord Addington says he knows the government had a lot on their plate this summer, but why didn't they have a ceremony for the girls. He says " "I mean come on"

They have set a target to fill Twickenham to 80,000 for the women's rugby in 2025

Baroness Taylor of Bolton says we have more women commentators in every sport now.

Yeah. I hate that. They don't have the right tone, and it's harder now to find a male voice. Some of them don't even know how to play, let alone speak.

Baroness Grey Thompson said she had been told that "we would know women had made it in sport when men wanted to coach them". She said "so we're only good even men say we are". Or something like that.

😆 Sounded like the start of a good joke, ah, I miss those times.

Lord Sandhust is against "being kind to trans women in sports. Fairness to females must come first."

ITV aren't quite as bad as the Beeb. They have Karen Carney and Eni Aluko as pundits, which makes up for ITV's bizarre infatuation with Ian Wright. Who seems contracted to appear on every football show on every channel. Wherever it is, and whoever is playing. He was even at that FA Cup game the other week with Bracknell Town! And some joker's given him "pundit of the year", god knows why.

Laura Woods (ex-Sky) seems to have the Women's presenter slot tied down on ITV; the husky voice is very nice (reminds me of an old flame) but her diction is terrible (loads of mumbling and garbled sentences) and she offers very little insight. But still miles better than the awful screechy women they have on C4/C5 and the BBC.

I'm gonna keep advising y'all to dig into this subject, since its the most useful junction of neurology and psychology. They use it against us, so why not turn the tables. As a little cherry on top it provides the tools to actually get through to people in a trauma state/ deep cognitive dissonance. (Obviously less effective online but still helpful).

I enjoy etymology, so I looked up Zealotry, even though I thought I knew what it meant 😃

Great word Bombadil.

I haven't managed to put it into words yet!

This is Hunt doing his Princess Diana impression and looking more like who or rather, what?

So they're saying that strongly opposing being occupied, enslaved and dominated by a ruthless empire means you're a fanatic?  Some things don't change!

Call me a fanatic cos I want our independence from the globalist Illuminati empire.

BTW I looked up fanatic:

'You white b****rd': Gang left stranger with horror injuries in brutal, sudden attack
https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/thugs-smashed-beer-bottle-strangers-25524761

'Prosecuting, Mark Kellet told the court how the victim got off the bus in Levenshulme after missing his stop in Longsight, and was accosted on Stockport Road by a man who accused him of robbing someone before telling him: "You white b****rd we don’t want to see you around here again".

The victim then spotted the three other men from the group coming towards him quickly, surrounding him so he couldn't get away. The men started kicking and punching him in what Mr Keller called 'a violent and sustained attack."

One of the four men - two of whom were never identified - delivered a blow to the victim's head with a beer bottle, before using fragments of it to try and stab him. In a victim impact statement, the victim told of how he believed they were trying to kill him. He suffered 'serious' injuries, including a puncture wound to his calf which required surgery, and a cut to the top of his head.

The court heard how the victim was in and out of hospital for three months, and has been left with permanent scarring as a result of the assault.'
