It was getting bad in schools a few years back when my kids were there - I'd go in and tackle them over things like, instead of teaching them things and then maybe setting homework to test understanding of, and reinforce what they'd learned, they seemed to do nothing much in school and their homework was to learn whole topics themselves off the internet. That's the 'Academies' for you. 

 

But things I've heard of since then would make me go out of my mind if they were still there. A few years back, the sweet little old lady next door (neighbour for 20 odd years so I knew her pretty well) shocked me to my core when she complained to me that her grand-daughter had been being taught in school about homosexuality, and what substance to apply to make an arsehole big enough to facilitate male on male penitration. I kid you not, my blood ran cold. And that was the 1st I heard of the depths of depravity the curriculum has since sunk to, before I even started reading of it on the internet. 

 

And when you start thinking about it, the way they can stitch you up and take your kids off you via the social services on any old trumped up charge if you rock the boat - this is why I said a while back on here that although my kids (grown up now, thank God) are more precious to me than anything, I would not choose to have any now if I was of child-bearing age, because I wouldn't feel confident of being able to protect them.

 

The people resposible for what's going on now are unspeakably evil, but the minions who follow their orders are also completely unforgiveable.

 My god, we are so up against it. How to choose which battles first? They said they would normalise child abuse, and sexulaise the children. When you think of the hypocrisy of what you're 'not allowed to say', things that are completely truthful and decent and human, and what you're 'forced to hear, increasingly, it's just sickening.

I have two ways of looking at this. First of all, I would hope that she was dissuaded from taking GCSE Italian because her teachers felt that as she was already fluent in the language, there would be no 'challenge' presented, and she would actually find it quite tedious, trying to 'learn' something that she already knew. 😉

 

On the other hand, it is more likely that - as you seem to suggest - her teachers really have no clue about her abilities, and merely 'assumed' that learning Italian would be 'too difficult' for her. It is my opinion now that most teachers are that obsessed with stats and results, that they have forgotten to treat their pupils like human beings to be nurtured and encouraged.

This story found me, rather than other way around. I experienced a close encounter with a mysterious black drone "hovering" in the sky. I say "hovering" because, in truth, it looked like it was implanted in the sky. That son of a bitch was as still as anything. My first instinct was to look for what it was attached to, before realizing it was actually hovering. I was driving at the time, and it was a semi busy city street with no place to pull over, so I was not able to continue to track the drone for more than a block. I could have circled back, but my gut told me to just go home. So I just went home. 

 

Then, I come across these stories. Holy crap! The picture below is from one of the news articles I found. This is the exact same drone I saw. It's big and rather scary, for a drone. And, whoever or whatever was controlling it was no hobbyist. That thing was freaky ass still and steady in the sky! Plus, it was in a highly populated city environment, with tall apartment complexes, telephone poles, etc. It was just a few city blocks from my home. Right over the area where the street lights are listening and watching (another true story, documented by MSM, even). Speaking of MSM, to be honest, I did not read the article I've linked to because I no longer give a shit what MSM has to say about anything. All I know is I saw one of these things and they are real and being operated by real professionals. It also had me recalling an event I witnessed one night about a year ago, where I saw a single, bright light, like that of a motorcycle headlamp, basically outlining an apartment building a few blocks away from me. The exact same area I saw this drone the other day. I was watching it from my kitchen window because, it seemed to bright and close for a plane, as it fly over the top of the building. Then, it followed along the side of the building, which is where it got strange. I realized it wasn't a distant plane, as it perfectly went in a downward drop. No gain nor losing speed, the same moderately slow speed, before going out of sight near the bottom. It wasn't something falling, and the light stayed consistent, no flickering like even a plane or motorcycle headlamp would. Whatever it was, it moved with incredible perfection and accuracy, just like the black drone form the other day...in this same area [cue dramatic organ].

So, there you have it, kids. That's the same damned drone I saw, in that picture above. And I mean being handled with freakishly perfect precision. I've seen drones before, and even the best ones with the best pilots, they waver and jostle a bit when hovering in a single spot for more that a few seconds. This one I saw was hovering for minutes light it was painted in the sky.

Driving home a couple of days ago I just caught the tail end of our local news headlines - forced to focus more on the homicidal maniacs on the road and the suicidal tit heads stepping out Infront of cars while glued to their mobile phone screens I missed the fine detail but still came away with this... Some company called Enigma has won the contract to install (this is what I missed but think it was in the region of this figure) 276 CCTV cameras around a handful of the town's that surround me, "For our safety". 

 

I'm utterly sick of this - how come there's no shortage of funds for their invasion of our privacy! I'm going to look into this further as soon as I get chance, and embark on the totally futile exercise of complaining to the feeble-minded gimps who are our local councilors.

Where I live, our Governor declared the ban on all gas powered motor vehicles in ten years. Less than a week after his announcement, myself and others in my state have been receiving e-mails and "emergency notices" regarding potential blackouts, due to strained energy supplies. We are asked to reduce our home usage, especially at peak hours (when it's the most insanely hot!). So, the same folks who say I must dump my Mustang and buy a Prius, say I can't use my air conditioner during a heatwave because we can't generate enough electric power!?! Oh, and our rates are going up! Yippie!

 

And some wonder why I'm not "serious" enough in my various posts. That is the "real world", folks! Those are decisions made by grown-up people, not some no good, loser like myself. And you folks want me to be serious. I fart in your general direction.

(Not you, Mr Bollocks...them...those people...I know you see them, too! Look at 'em...beady-eyed bastards.)
