Is the festival ending? I went in 2014 and I think it's custom practice to set fire to tents and act like animals, that's what I was told at the time.

Lots of creepy people too. I remember I was with this girl (we were on our own) and some faggy looking weirdo with long finger nails was stirring trouble in the crowd while we were waiting for a band. He turned to me and said what would I do if he punched me in the face.

 

I said try it, (he was about 6 stone heavier and a foot taller) then he started accusing me of touching his arse or something. Anyways the girl I was with call our mate Ryan and he came over after he heard "little James was being started on" and he cleaned him right out. His nose sounded like an egg cracking. 

 

I remember enter Shikari then doing some virtue signalling about "the Tories" i think I got fired up and screamed with them with passion but i was slightly lefty and drunk. People around me looked at me like I was a twat, but looking back is because I believed stupidly they believed in what they were saying. But really they aren't used to working class passion and are just empty vessels.

 

I hear "enter Shikari" have been virtue signalling again. Doesn't surprise me.

 

Only CURRENT artist I have time for is Morrissey. And he is current, he is relevant, and is fucking brilliant STILL. Working class and not afraid to speak his mind. Not like these morons.

I'm a bit of a wimp with places with big crowds anyway. Fairs, festivals, always strange characters, stabbings, peados, rapes. Gives me the creeps. Fairs always have as well, the lorries, fumes, trailers, weird English thuggish garage blairing through the speakers. Not for me.

Orcs everywhere you look, with seemingly bugger all consequences so as Enigmatic said, they're just running riot stuffing things up for everyone else. 

 

This all makes me very angry because my daughter will turn 30 this year and ever since she was old enough, attending the big music festivals has been one of the highlights of her year.

 

They will see to it that everything that was once joyful is cancelled once they've let the problems escalate till there's a public backlash. Just your typical P-R-S.

 

Holidays - largely banned in recent years or massively disrupted. Christmas - no get-togethers allowed in recent years (ignored by me, but plenty complied through fear) and now that we can meet up in numbers they're ensuring nobody will have the funds required for the traditional celebrations.

 

They're like fecking dementors, sucking the pleasure out of life.

Just at a quick glance, I keep reading the one million figure about many things, and 326 adds up to 11. Ah, we've got bigger fish to fry but it's all about numbers, perversely. 

 

I'm intrigued that there is no mention of health, wealth, strength, the doom doom doom, and control is very real, but there's nothing more destructive than the stress of thinking and hearing and believing the worst, when the good news and good people can lift you enough to keep you going. There's a reason why we say I'm sick to death.

I looked at the media reports of Reading. I saw a photo in the mail of one burning tent, with people sat nearby. I don't like to see immediate calls for more security. That's more problem - R - solution? The insurance industry has already nearly destroyed even village style or pub style gatherings. Oh and the articles make a fuss about litter, as if that's a new thing. I read some of the comments section.

 

 

Notting Hill; Interested to hear ian Collins say (almost accidentally) that the carnival has never been a trouble spot (or words to that effect). I recall that sometimes crime is not reported, unless it suits, but likewise, I don't want violence deliberately exaggerated to promote broken Britain, to break us quicker. Just as I would prefer to hear praise for NHS staff, paramedic, or police, and even BBC presenter !? not just the bad bits. Praise where praise is due, or life becomes a constant misery for all the triers? 

 

 

When my friends went to Italy '90, the sun front page made out there was hooliganism on every corner, and they didn't see anything. That was my first lesson in that area!

After 9/11 and 7/7, we heard there would be metal arch scanners on busses. It was always coming whatever the reason. I went through an airport recently and had my shoes checked twice on two expensive machines akin to gym equipment, and was talked to like a murderer ... when the real criminals had locked my country down and were having their arses licked? ?

 

I know there is big trouble in the country, but it is not being promoted now to find a solution, but to stick the knife in, so to speak.

I keep thinking of the agreement signed to not use weather warfare. Who would police that? Also, if there is an agreement, why doesn't that prove the existence of weather modification and cloud seeding to the non-believers? If it wasn't possible, they wouldn't have to agree not to use it. Also bad land / drainage management, and cutting down trees creates problems with flooding here.

There should probably be a weather warfare thread to be honest, if there isn't one already. My main interests are demography, anthropology, history, and politics. The weather modification topic is something that I would like to explore more, especially now that demography is coming up in climate refugee topics.
