"Could". "Maybe". "Possible".

Three keywords that are tell-tale signs of social engineering at work.

"Could" is not the same as "will".

"The UK could experience its hottest ever temperatures this weekend..."

"The Earth could be hit by a giant asteroid in the next hundred years..."

"Millions of people could die from Covid if a vaccine isn't available to them"

"Arnold Blagitt could hit his hand with a hammer if he's not careful next weekend..."

These kinds of stories and headlines are both about conditioning people, or just to ramp up levels of fear and anxiety.

I think people will help themselves to energy for free i.e. it becomes another kind of free energy

According to a solicitor, you can't steal something that is streaming.  People just don't know it.

Don't take my word for it. Please double check.

Neil Oliver discussing farmers protests in the Netherlands at 18:30 today (Saturday).

Unrest and clashes with the police

Farmers are protesting over changes to environmental rules

Speaking to Simone Kerseboom, a Dutch politician, who said the politicians are focusing on a so called nitrogen crisis, and not the covid hysteria. She said we've got 8 years to fight agenda 2030, and that we need to make sure food production stays in the hands of the farmers.

Nope, because that kind of figure is unrealistic and scaremongering.

There'll be another push to get people to upgrade to smart meters, with the promise that people can "save money" on their energy bills. There have been numerous hints dropped in the media already that energy companies are keen to be able to charge consumers more for using energy at 'peak times', but this can only be done using a smart meter. This will likely be promoted as "flexible pricing".

I wrote about this on my website the other week:

https://thegrumpyowl.co.uk/2022/06/27/the-real-reason-for-smart-meters-is-becoming-ever-more-apparent/

The other aspect is that I feel energy prices are being artificially inflated, and this is to serve another purpose - the Government talks of "levelling up" communities all the time, but its another classic inversion; the NWO Great Reset agenda is all based on making everybody (except the Elites that is) equal, that is equally impoverished, and dependent on the State for their survival.

In particular, it is the 'middle-classes' being most targetted - 'they' want these people to give up their nice, comfortable homes, and trade them in for newer 'energy efficient' builds, and in effect 'downsizing' in the process.

I think about my own parents, they're in their 70s and retired now, but still living by themselves in a 3 bedroom semi. The amount of 'retirement complex' builds is astonishing, but this is all about getting people like my parents to sell their three-bed semis and 'downsize' to a 'luxury 1 bed retirement apartment'.

The government can only hand out so many 'rebates' and 'discounts' off energy bills, before it is paying your energy bill for you. That is the point when "you'll own nothing and you'll be happy", because your energy usage allowance is linked to your 'social credit score'.

Is abstracting electricity no longer an offence in England or are you on about something else?

She didn't look deep enough into the Theft Act. When I was a student, the Act was relatively new and this particular issue came up in a couple of cases we were given to study.

But of course, the people who follow the Common Law would say, Act is an Act and not the law....which is true. 😋

The "could/will" argument is just semantics G.O. This will happen. It's baked in to their plan. What needs to happen is for the people of the UK to grow a pair and tell them to f**k off instead of fretting and working overtime to pay for something which they could afford in any normal situation. It's a test. I will be telling them what I am willing to pay and if they don't like it then that's not my problem.

It's not so much a price cap as a floor now is it Bam. They are screwing everyone with impunity. The price rise IS coming and people need to tell the c*nts where to go!!!

The greedy c*nts haven't even bothered trying to provide a reasonable explanation for the extortionate price rise for electricity.  Nothing has been required to make sense at all these last few years.

It's infuriating isn't it. The apathy from the general public is shocking and makes me ashamed to walk amongst them. What it does achieve is to strengthen my resolve to fight this shit to the bitter end. I'm not having my children living in the kind of world they are trying to force upon us.

all i get from the plebs when i say about the price hikes is " well i'm fixed for the next 6 months"

as if they are better than you.

i've got a ton of coal in my garage the central heating will be staying off.

Haha. Fixed for 6 months. They deserve everything they've got coming. It'll be extra jumpers and hot water bottles boiled on a Kelly kettle in my house this winter. No way I'm going to let the fu**ers give me anxiety about it.

Same here. A lot of decorative solar lamps are better than they used to be too, as they only need daylight rather than sunshine, so that's another plan - plus I've a camping lamp which the battery for some reason has had plenty of use over the last 8 years yet is still going strong in (and a stash of spare batteries ready). The telly will stay off, as will the central heating, and my electric fire can run for a brief time daily to take the chill off. I've a camping stove and a stash of gas cannisters, but I also have a Ninja Foodie which is more economical to run than a big oven and you can do pretty much anything in.

If they increase my DD, I'll go into my on-line account and decrease it again and if they play silly beggars I'll cancel it altogether - they'll be like headless chickens because there's be so many people in arrears.

The wife and I live separately, though reconciled in all other ways, and so I initially moved into an over 50's complex with the same housing association. All heating (gas) is in with the rent - and that rent cannot go up beyond a certain amount because it is protected under some social housing law. Therefore, I could have the heating on 24/7/365 and not have to spend an extra penny. My electric bill is only tiny because I have use of a free launderette in the complex and tend to do all my charging at work and water is in with my rent as well. But for the permanent use of three fans right now, my electric bill is around £5 per week.

Should my family not be able to afford to heat their house sufficiently this coming winter, or afford the electric bill (five of them use up a huge amount - mainly washing and drying clothes) they can come around mine for 75% of the time; just going home to sleep.

It is a sad thought that they might have to come around mine for a warm in a 'developed' nation but I can see what was originally a disaster to me last November (splitting) as becoming a providential blessing. The average age of folk in this complex is over 75 and it's pleasing to know that there are 50 elderly people who won't have to choose between dying of starvation or pneumonia. That was already a thing for years before the deliberate destruction of our economy, but is going to be exponentially worse this winter.
