Tinfoil Hat
I once ate a daddy long legs by mistake once. It was in some jam and I think it had got in there during the cooking process. I was eating and chatting with family at the same time and half noticed this slightly unusual shape in amongst the jam, which I wasn't focussing on at all because of being engrossed in the conversation, and my conscious brain only realised what the shape was after swallowing. It didn't taste of anything except jam though, but I still felt disgusted when it dawned on me. I wouldn't make a habit of doing it deliberately. I can still remember my older brother when we were both very little, suddenly appearing outside in front of the window with a big, fat earthworm dangling out of his mouth and my mum racing outside to try and extract it from his mouth. Even as a kid I couldn't imagine why he thought that was an appetising snack and I still remind him of it sometimes.
JCP
There is a danger of harmful parasites being passed to humans when they consume insects. Insects also contain CHITIN, which cannot be processed by our intestines. But chitin is a polysaccharide that is very palatable to cancer, parasites, fungi and just about anything that makes you sick. Golden Retriever
Shameful, especially since crickets contain Chitin which may be harmful to the human gut. Even establishment academia says more research is needed. Background and objective: Cricket contains high crude protein level but it also contains considerable amount of chitin that may impede nutrient digestion and decrease production performance of animal. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30187729/ Edited August 20, 2022 by Golden Retriever 1

alexa
Is this what 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here' was really all about ? Apparently Insects produce a toxic substance & when eaten have cancer producing properties. Edited September 27, 2022 by alexa

Can you imagine, the local markets will be transformed into those 'wet markets' we was at the start of the Covid scam! Live frogs trying to escape from our dinner plates, scabby bats & scooping up tadpoles as they swim around the bowl to feed to the toddlers. I feel queasy just remembering those sights. Dehumanising!
andy1033
The ptb of west are brain dead perverts, who have no intelligence. All they do, is live a pervert life, and think thats what nature intended for humans, as they do it and want it. What vile people they are. The food chain exists, and it means animals, are drawn to there food. Humans are not drawn to bugs, look how many famines existed, and not once did these people turn to eating bugs. Did the famine in ireland, move people to eating bugs? Did the famine in ukraine, move people to eating bugs? No, on both counts, and every single day people are dying from no food, and they are not drawn to go and eat bugs. The ptb are fruitcakes.

EnigmaticWorld
The bug agenda probably isn't going down well, now here comes the damage control. From 4chan to international politics, a bug-eating conspiracy theory goes mainstream https://www.houstonpublicmedia.org/npr/2023/04/02/1166649732/from-4chan-to-international-politics-a-bug-eating-conspiracy-theory-goes-mainstream/
