alexa
Now they want your kids to eat insects. Now we know what the program-ing 'I'm a celebrity get me out' was all about. Primary school children in Wales could be offered EDIBLE INSECTS including mealworms and crickets as scientists urge the next generation to embrace eco-friendly meat substitutes. Researchers plan to feed primary school children bugs like locusts and mealworms, to help persuade them and their parents to move away from meat. The project, led by academics from Cardiff University and the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), will involve surveying children between the ages of five and 11 from four primary schools in Wales. The team hope to find out the children's attitudes to environmental issues and how they translate into views on the food they eat. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-10867737/Scientists-plan-feed-primary-school-children-crickets-mealworms-make-UK-greener.html

zarkov
On the end of hook to catch some food maybe! Dont know what their problem is with recycling and if you think about it they have a recycling mentality problem. How the fuck is it possible that we are governed by such fuckwits? and why has it taken so long for this realisation to occur?
spideysensei
Yeah i guess i would, i don't discriminate too harshly in my animal sources. Look at a jar of muscles and then some crickets. The muscles look weirder but i'd still devour them. If it were my only animal protein source then that's a different matter, might as well just supplement at that point. It bothers me to say it, but God does recommend the eating of crickets, grasshoppers & Locusts Leviticus 11:22 How ever he doesn't recommend the eating of any shell fish Leviticus 11:12 Sorry spidey

But if eating shellfish is on a par with pigs on the uncleanliness scale, then i am surely doomed. Are we sure we can trust the word of God through Moses though? He gives me the impression of being a bit of a rogue, or charlatan of his time.

Nemuri Kyoshiro
Ate them in Thailand once. They weren't too bad with a bit of hot sauce. I don't think I'd make a habit of it though.
