His speech was like the closing scene from the movie Omen 3 when the antichrist makes a speech to his followers.

We all know they are pushing William out to take over, let's hope they wake up and smell the bullshit .

I've yet to watch it.

They always drag out the usual motley grotesque dodgy Royal Arse lickers for these shitty royal celebrations.

Sir Cliff is looking like Dot Cotton .

Nefaria, what are you going to do with your bunting?

Sky News said "why not keep it up till next year and make it an annual event" 😀

Sky news would suggest that at the moment wouldn't they?  I remember when someone hanging a Butcher's Apron outside their home would have been considered a racist not so long back!

Re; William.

He reiterated their joy and optimism, and said never have they had so much power for change.

I'm paraphrasing a little.

I would say that one thing the royal family excel at is talking complete and utter shite, then i realise they have staff that write all their speeches for them!

While its been nice to walk around the streets by me and see loads of Union 🇬🇧 flags up everywhere (even a few England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ones for good measure), its not so long back that anyone who 'proudly' displayed a Union or England flag on or outside their home was considered a far-right racist. 🤪

... and might still be considered to be, if they're not taken down by midnight? 😃 Or maybe even immediately! Now that the Queen's done her 3 minutes on the balcony? She's tired, "which is understandable", so I keep hearing.

When I briefly read about the event it gave the impression that everyone in the country loved it and it was all a great celebration....

Admittedly, I live in a REALLY small village, but absolutely no one was celebrating here. Maybe very different in somewhere like London........

The Daily Mirror:

Professional lip reader John Cassidy revealed why he believes the Queen seemed surprised during her balcony moment, especially at the end of a rousing version of God Save The Queen. After coloured smoke was sent into the air, the Queen turned to great grandson George, and said:

"Ah, brilliant! I didn’t know ..."

? 😄
