As a reference I’ll give you this; “fuck this poxy world”. In the 1970’s monkeys were the sole providers and only group that had control of global tea production. Yeah, remember the 70s well. Even got called a "poxy little monkey!" on occasions. I think there poxy meant a bit of "pain in the arse" as in a third rate car constantly in the garage......as cars were like in those days.
