Uruguay very good choice too and much safer, low tax. But need a bit more money. Eastern Europe is very good choice too. I know someone that moved to Thailand too and said if you have money you can do whatever you want, and there is some legal loophole apparently for foreigners to pay 0 tax. Has been back a few times and we, his family, have visited. Can only imagine whats next here with the 'monkeypox' agenda and Trudeau's tyranny. If you arent vaccinated you'll need to get out by one of a few means left, some legal some not...but who cares really... when faced with a tyrant like this...anything goes. I also have friends who have gone to Paraguay. Argentina is very cheap at the moment due to the political climate, but who knows how that will end. Costa Rica is another common bolthole for Canadians at the moment but its a little more expensive. I'm familiarizing myself with all of the places as at some point I feel Canadians will have to either put up with it or get out.
