I have no strong affinity for any of the Pedowood actors (except maybe Mel Gibson (and a few others) who openly speak out against their child molesting workmates and bosses .... which in turn, may also be a misdirection). It's hard to tell. The problem with being a good actor is that you have to be good at lying and deception. Although this wasn't a hit, and lost money, I still like the story. Anti Facts Sir
I enjoyed Bagger Vance, as (a) it was about golf, sort of, and (b) Charlizde Theron was stunning.

EnigmaticWorld
I like a lot of cheese so I can't say it's the best cinema ever, but just my favourite kind of stuff I guess. Films like 'The Burbs', I have watched that so many times. It's a nostalgia and atmosphere thing. I like a nice cozy movie. Hammer Horror especially, those flicks were a staple of my childhood. DaleP
I hope there will be a DVD for this anime. Based on some historical facts, this anime is super deep but the underlying message is totally appropriate for today. You might not realise it by just watching it though. Sometimes, vilans and enemies are on our side though you may not realise it at the time. Dilapidated, forgotten places accumulate negative energy. Accumulation of negative human consciousness triggers disasters in the world and even changes a landscape or continent. It is about co-existing. One who opened the portal (we) must close it rather than passing it on to our children. Much much more. - TZC -
I am a terrible mod because I ignored all the posts, and want to share not the best movie ever, but in terms of the best straight to vhs movies ever Soldier is an unwarranted, unwanted contender. I need whipping. And harshly. WoW 666 too!
LastOneLeftInTheCounty
Anything by Martin Scorsese or David Lynch, although Scorsese is the master. I know he’s a bit satanic and cult owned but the way he dubs in audio from other takes is genius and always hilarious, his films are shot super wide and have a rich, full look, constantly moving and engaging but also his comedy and sense of humour is second to none. Peter Jackson is also really good, every shot from LOTR and Hobbit is like a work of art, super wide and dreamlike with the best production design. The one thing these 3 directors have in common is that they’re all talented storytellers. Stuart dorrans
Fright night. The original not the remake. I'm a sucker for old horror movies with all the special effects gore, before CGI came along and ruined movies. Now they look cartoonish.

Let's just say I'm glad I didn't watch this thing alone Modern horror just doesn't have the same music and atmosphere as the old stuff.
