Covid measures in China

Recommended Posts

I don't know what to make of these reports.

In my opinion the fake people dying in Chinese streets from Covid in January and February 2020 were not verified

and used for propaganda purposes by BBC and most media to lockdown the world.

How much of the current information is true, I have no idea.

What I do know is the supply chain for most commodities is being hugely disrupted making the price of goods and

some food prices even higher than they are already

This is from the Daily Fail.

Do we need a pinch of salt or is this happening?

  • Shanghai remains in lockdown as China pursues brutal 'zero-Covid' strategy
  • One video shows hazmat-suited workers drilling doors of a restaurant shut to prevent those inside from leaving, as two elderly men were pictured in disbelief
  • Another showed young children arriving at school clad in white hazmat suits

I'm inclined to believe this is all probably fake and just more propaganda to continue this Covid narrative.

The 'variants' are weakening, fewer people are becoming seriously ill or dying as a result.

Here in the West, we now have a "living with Covid" approach. How come its taken the Chinese over two years to get this serious and drastic?

Looking at all those Chinese people in hazmat suits, you'd think there was some deadly airbourne toxic chemical or gas. 🤔

And yes, all of this is extremely disruptive, as don't forget that China is where most common household goods, and pretty much everything else, is being manufactured.

Cue more 'shortages', as factories are closed down and employees are forced to stay at home.
