Where will be the safest places to raise a family over the next 20 years?

I'm an American who's been traveling the world as a digital nomad for the past decade, but I'm starting a family soon and wondering where would be the safest place to settle.

Obviously places like China are at the very bottom of the list.

It’s difficult isn’t it. Depends what you want to be safe from! I guess USA has a lot of wilderness. Places to get lost. Europe a bit more cramped. Maybe even into Canada if you can stand the harsh winters. Certainly resource for necessity’s

After May, there will be no place, because then the WHO and its unelected NGO's will dictate health regulations for EVERY country.

This is called 'democracy'

I totally agree. Just musing where you might get freedom for a little longer. The WHO’s new powers are to me the end of the first stage of this chaos. They’ll be able now to sanction anyone, anywhere  for anything. All under the pretence of public health concerns

Stay out of Western cities, they will be hell on earth. Go as rural as possible and learn basic agriculture, the further out you go, the less chance they'll be spraying the skies and killing your crops. If I had the means, central or South America would be my go to.

Hungary.

When Tucker Carlson did his interviews with Viktor Orban, the PM, I was very impressed.

The lefties call him an ‘oppressor’ - and worse, but hey, pot kettle black.

From what I saw from his interviews, and from the ‘man in the street, he stands for good old fashioned morals, family, Hungary for Hungarians - no ‘refugees’ pouring into the country, stuff like that.

If you can get hold of Carlson’s interviews with him, they’re worth a watch.

I recommended Belize. It's in the Caribbean. You can buy land in the bush CHEAP and there are no building regulations. You can build a wooden house or a mud hut. Most of the land is fertile. If you have 5 acres, you can be self sufficient and you can buy 5 acres in Belize for less that a one bed flat in Europe. Get a group of half a dozen people and club up to buy 20 or 50 acres of land. Lot of hard work clearing and building, but out of the cities, no one will bother you.

All I need is enough money to get there with my possessions and the ability to travel without being jabbed and I'm away. I have a piece of land there, right on a river. I like fish.

Small islands with small populations are the best and somewhere you can grow food & fish.

Remember that freedom is being taken away so the best places are far from cities and large population centers... Less people = less bother from police and "authorities".

I think having the knowledge and skills to use the land to your advantage is incredibly important. You can take that with you anywhere. It also makes you more adaptable when things go pear shaped

You need a cow for milk, chickens for eggs, a horse to get around on, a few rabbits and a few pigs. If you use your land to grow veggies and fruit (and they grow like weeds in that climate). Apart from flour and salt and luxury goods. you are self-sufficient. You can buy or make your own solar panels, but why bother, cook on a wood fire.

The problem is getting there with your clothes and household goods. You can buy a small container, but it still costs MONEY and after being make broke by covid stupidity, THAT is the problem.

It’s clear you’ve put a lot of consideration into this. Much appreciated.

I know it’s not a perfect solution but have you considered rustic furniture making?  (I’m sure you have). Even the big bench saws only require the blade. The rest can vibe done with an axe/ machete. Materials on site

That's fair, but Viktor Orban could have an aneurysm and die tomorrow. What then? The issue with Hungary is its proximity to the rest of Europe and its status as an EU member country. One can't place too much faith in a place because of its current rulers. The policies of a country can flip on a dime, as we've seen with Australia and Canada.

I agree. In some ways, I think the geographic argument is a stronger one than the political one. Some of the islands of Southeast Asia and the Caribbean could be potential spots. I wonder what would set one over the other, aside from proximity to the US in the Caribbean. I do think that some islands in Thailand would be quite a bit more affordable and relatively safe in the long run.

And @barca

Instability is a construct of this life, especially now; so no matter where you go, what you do, anything could happen, anytime.

I have no idea what is going to happen, but I get the feeling nothing good for the peasants.

As others have suggested on the forum, getting far out to the country and being as self sufficient as possible - wells, solar, gardens, and if possible, like minded people; people without an agenda; gentle but strong people.

I wish you and yours all the very best.

The Mennonite community in Spanish Lookout make all the furniture you would ever want and it isn't expensive. At 81, all I need a proper bed to sleep in, that's all. Wife and daughter are another matter.

The only downside of Belize is the rainy season. it pisses down. one of the reasons they build wooden houses off the ground.

I worked and lived there for 4 years, (in a house). Had I even suspected that the world would get fucked up so badly by mindless morons who believe the covid scam, I would never have come back.

If anyone wants pictures or wants to get in touch with Estate agents over there, we still have friends. PM me. You'll need to research new policies for immigration etc. I haven't done that yet.

We just don't have enough money to even THINK about travelling anywhere at the moment. Just staying fed and warm is the ONLY concern.

I imagine Belize was a wonderful experience. My greatest problem, though younger than yourself, is also the financial side. I have to consider my families needs as well as my own also!  Years ago i would sleep anywhere whilst travelling to cut down costs

Florida or Texas seem good. If I had the money i'd own a place in Florida, a place in Spain or portugal and a place in Costa Rica or mexico. If I was raising a family, I think i'd pick Florida.

IF White people could actually work together (which, for some reason, they seem unable to do so), A group of half a dozen (young) people/families could pool resources and buy a reasonably large piece of land 20 or 30 acres would be just fine. The menfolk could go first and clear and build shelter, then the rest of the family would go.

Alas, if we were Black, Chinese, Muslim or just about anything except White. It would work beautifully.

Something like this:

50 acres for 95,000 dollars is peanuts. Where I am my friend just bought 1 acre for £40,000. Plus full of caveats.

Agreed on shit hole with miserable weather, but there is no place like this miserable shit hole when the sun shines, it is the most fantastic place on Earth and i love it, and the people just need to be reminded of this fact, and the rich Heritage that we have, and that we are a free people, an honest in your face people, even though 80% of our people were turned into mindless medical rapists and DNA molester champions, all led by the LYING DECEIVING MSM GOVERNMENT SCUM ON THE IDIOT BOX (TerrorVision), there is 20% of us beautiful, loving, caring and sharing people willing to help those affected through the convid years to turn this country around from the DARK FORCES of EVIL that infected it, and i say the resolve is so strong that this country of ours survived, and it's determination to stay a free country, battered but not broken, so what do you say, pick yourself up, dust your self off, there's work to be done, and no place for FEAR.

As for Tony B liar, whether i voted Labour or not makes no difference, why is he still walking around and not locked up/hung for war crimes, the Guardian tells us why, the corruption goes deep, with loads of people on the payroll it would seem, it's quite a mountain to climb, but not impossible, Everest was far far harder than this shit we're going through.

So i am staying right here and i will be demanding Justice and our God given rights reaffirmed no matter what.

You can run, but you can not hide, you can die on your feet, or live on your knees.
