In the past before I realised the extent of my lactose intolerance (which has always been there but got worse as I have got older) I have had raw goat's milk/cheese and raw cows milk cheeses in the past (only now and again : the goat's stuff was from a farm in Wales and off a granny in a Greek village I was living nearby). The cow's milk cheese was from a local organic shop. It was very creamy and tasty!

But, the reason for pasteurization is because of the risk of bacterial contamination. This was how humans first got TB off cows hundreds of years ago. Even people in rural based countries boil animal milks before drinking them or making them into cheese, butter and yoghurt.

I’d be interested if anyone could pick apart what this guy says. To me he knows his stuff, and I’ve felt much better fitness wise since eating more carbs/ less meat. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC2ZWX3GJfAIeRFWN91t09ww

Ive known people who have been vegan for 20+ years, which surprised me as I thought it was something new.

I 100% agree there is an agenda, however Veganisim in general might be innocent, and it’s been hijacked by people like Gates to promote fake meat, which is toxic and reduces testosterone in men achieving a few agendas with 1 stone.

His own chickpea "meat log" looked quite nice, but no good for me cos of all that wheat gluten and chickpeas give me bad gas. I'd have to use some butter beans and gluten free flour! But I dunno why one needs these fake meats for protein- just eat beans, lentils and nuts! Bean or lentil burgers, dhals, and nut roasts are what I like.

Anything can be hijacked for agendas, and I would say rather than "fake meats" that are already on the market it is those bacterial vats that George Monbiot promotes are the real thing that the elites wanna push.  Not only is meat a no no, but also vegetables and fruits!

This is the sinister plan:

George Monbiot: Farming is the number one threat to the planet - and we must switch to food produced by bacteria.

https://www.cambridgeindependent.co.uk/whats-on/george-monbiot-farming-is-the-number-one-threat-to-the-plan-9280753/

You can bet the elites won't be dining on bacteria though. They will have their land on their estates to grow organic produce.

I think its interesting how many celebrities are now quietly saying that they got very ill on vegan diet. I personally know many ( female in particular) folks who were vegan and now arent because it brought them illness- even though they were veggie previously. I suspect that only some folk can tolerate such a heavily controlled diet. And this is really my issue with veganism, the whole massive control psychology of it all.

The other thing is that not eating meat ( in particular) is being heavily pushed by the global cabal, which just makes the whole thing suspicious, together with all the virtue signalling that goes along with it, and the deliberate push to get young ones invested in that whole idea.

this comment makes zero sense. What's pompous meat?

How is discussing something toxic?

How is something DISGUSTING like meat not toxic you mean.

I don't need to make sense to you.  Your sense is your own sense, not mine or that of any vegan!

The Vegan "Agenda"  motif labelled as such is an abomination, a deliberately disparaging insult, and designed by meat heads FOR THEM to feel horny about meat, because that's all they are really interested in.... So leave vegans alone!.... No-one really needed to put that in the title of ANY thread.... Or should I start a thread saying all "Meat Eaters are Paedophiles"...Exactly, you wouldn't like it.

I agree that the filmer was rude. He was deliberately trying to provoke the black man. I dunno why he's so bothered if people have plant based milk substitutes. What business is it of his? Many people are lactose intolerant so need an alternative. I'm lactose intolerant myself, but don't use plant based substitutes that often because I drink my coffee black, rarely have cereals, because I'm also gluten intolerant  (but can tolerate very small amounts) and those are expensive. I do have plain soya yoghurt every so often though. I don't usually eat breakfast, but if I do oat crackers and peanut butter are cheaper!

I'm a vegetarian, been so since 1986. Because of the lactose intolerance, my diet is almost vegan. I include free range eggs and honey which make it a vegetarian diet.

As for Omega 3: fish is often encouraged as a source but they only contain it because they eat algae in the sea which is the original source of Omega 3 (the Ideal ratio of DHA & EPA omega 3 that is).  So algae capsules can be taken if one is vegetarian/vegan. Although the benefits of Omega 3 and 6 level ratios has recently been questioned. I've had 2 blood tests done this year ( I had a fracture and operation so my GP was doing tests on me) and I'm not deficient in anything. In fact, in my first test it revealed that my B12 levels were very high!

I agree about those veggie "meats" : they are gross to me, as are those veggie meaty burgers. Taste and smell too like the real thing for me. Yuk. I like bean/ veg/lentil burgers. ASDA or Tesco spicy bean burgers are very nice, as are the veggie fingers. I sometimes make my own lentil or bean burgers and use millet flour or gluten free flour as the binder.

I have no garden so can't grow my own veg. In a previous address I tended my own tomato plants. I had a Wormery then and used the Worm leachate in the compost. Those tomatoes were the best I've ever had in my life!

Worm casts are THE best substance for plant growth. Add it as a soil amendment, top dressing or compost tea and you’ll visibly see your plants become thicker healthier stronger with increased yield and better flavour. It’s the best!

It’s because as a worm eats it’s food, it passes through its gut where it gets a layer of calcium added to it before it is excreted out as worm poop.
Calcium works together with magnesium as a sort of catalyst for nitrogen and phosphorus to produce the absolute best chlorophyll in a plant, which is why it’s so good as a soil amendment .

Use natural wood ash and charcoal for a good source of organic potassium and carbon too.

Composted comfrey also works extremely well as an amendment, providing trace minerals and amino acids in abundance.

Talking of amino acids, eating cheese, beans, eggs, milk and some meats depletes your body of an important amino acid called glutathione and cystine, if you eat a lot of these foods and sometimes don’t feel so good afterwards, try a glutathione supplement from heath food shops to get your levels back up.

Going to try foraging for seaweed soon, as a foodstuff for myself and a compostable plant food to add to my existing soil mix.

Super Organix! It’s the future y’all!

Warning! Warning!...The Vegan Agenda.  Healthy vegans will be parachuting into your city to tell you about the health benefits of a vegan lifestyle.  Please be prepared with dying flesh, puss filled milk, and the skin of once living beings.  You have been warned.  The Vegan Agenda is real and it is here.

All jokes aside.  Anything the WEF says or does is evil and agenda based.  They (government, WEF, etc) don't want a vegan diet for the your health or animal welfare, they want you to eat GMO plants, bugs, and die.  Insects have no role in our food system, and have shown to have negative health benefits. Plus they are disgusting.  While we fight over a bowl of insects and GMO vegetables, the "elite" will be eating what they want and all organic.

Since I'm lactose intolerant, no animal milks for me! I get my calcium from beans, lentils, nuts,  broccoli,  leafy greens, and tahini. I LOVE tahini- I make a lot of bean dips with it.

Tesco has a solution for you. We have everything. 😋

The irony with law milk is that the late Queen or Royal household on a whole? drink law milk.......cos it's good for ya.

I don't use much milk in my diet/recipes, but I appreciate the link. I used to buy their lacto free cheddar and after a couple of years eating it even that makes me feel very ill. I think I also have a reaction to milk proteins as well as lactose. Just better for me to stick to Applewood vegan cheese ( the best vegan block there is!) and Phildelphia vegan cheese spread sometimes too. If I need to use plant based milk I have found Oatly now do a small carton! I was using that or Lidl's own but could never use up those large cartons in time.

“VEGAN RESTAURANTS ARE CLOSING DOWN ACROSS THE COUNTRY BECAUSE OF A LACK OF INTEREST IN SOLELY PLANT-BASED FOOD, ANALYSIS HAS FOUND.

WHILE THERE WAS A MUCH-PUBLICISED VEGAN “BOOM” OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS, WITH CHAIN RESTAURANTS LAUNCHING ANIMAL PRODUCT-FREE DISHES, OUTLETS WHICH SERVE ONLY PLANT-BASED FOOD HAVE STRUGGLED.

KATE NICHOLLS, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF UK HOSPITALITY – WHICH REPRESENTS THE RESTAURANT, BAR AND HOTEL SECTOR – SAID SOME VEGAN RESTAURANTS COULD BE STRUGGLING BECAUSE THEY DON’T APPEAL TO THE WIDER MARKET.

SHE SAID: “ALTHOUGH VEGANISM IS GAINING PROMINENCE AND DEMAND FOR VEGAN PRODUCTS SEEMS TO HAVE SOARED, ACTUALLY ONLY A VERY SMALL PERCENTAGE OF PEOPLE IDENTIFY AS VEGANS, JUST 1.16 PER CENT IN 2018 ACCORDING TO THE VEGAN SOCIETY.

This seems a very strange target, considering that milk isn't nutritionally beneficial for adults, nor is it natural for a mammal to be consuming milk in adulthood. Let alone the milk of another animal! Literally no other mammal does this.

Humans have created civilisations while drinking milk. the issue is that mass food produce puts profit and quality before health, and under that behaviour most foods will be unhealthy, also with foods you need balance, if you guzzle milk all day every day then of course it will have negative effects.

I often wonder how the vegans will cope when they cant run down to the corner shop for their weird packaged food which has zero flavour. most of the vegans I know just use a 'vegan' version of something to substitute natural food- ie vegan cheese, some version of milk, etc.

Every vegan I know ( and I know a LOT) uses stuff like coconut sugar, 'vegan' mass produced sauces, and a whole load of other stuff. In this day and age, if something is manufactured you do NOT know what is in it, regardless of what is printed on the packet.

Even the hard core vegans seem to spend a huge amount of time looking for substitutes and cooking stuff to look or taste like stuff they have given up. Many vegans I know have control issues, and this is just an idle observation, food is often used as a massive way to control many things in your life, if you fall into that trap. Many vegans I know are obsessed with being right about it or are on some kind of moral crusade.

To lighten the mood....

If meat eaters acted like vegans.....  just for fun ;-)
