Toilet roll can be helpful for insulation. I've stocked up over the months prior for the simple fact it's an investment to curb inflation. There is no fuel supply problem in the UK, last time round it was a small number of filling stations that encountered late deliveries due to a shortage of drivers in one delivery fleet, and it got blown out of all proportion, the resulting 'shortage' was caused by motorists swallowing the fear-porn propaganda and filling up their tanks to the brim, as well as a few jerry-cans for good measure.
