Usyk/Joshua this Saturday.

 

An animal compared to Joshua, Usyk is also the smarter boxer. Can't handle a decent southpaw, so i'm going with Usyk to win again.

 

Also Usyk seems like a useful asset to Ukraine, i don't think he risked his life in any capacity in the war (may not have even been there), and was released to fight from the Kyiv Territorial Defence.

In his own weird way he was complimenting Usyk. "You''re not strong, how did you win? You have skill." Seemed to be caught between throwing his toys out the pram and accepting he was beaten by the better boxer. To be fair it was emotional for him as he knows he's done at this level.

Ahh?  Thanks Spidey, I must've heard this wrong I thought he was attacking Usyk in a derogatory manner, I'll play it back again and have another listen.

Saw the highlights and looked like a good fight. Usyk is a real nightmare for heavyweights due to his speed, accuracy and stamina

 

Thought AJ showed improvement and shouldn't be hard on himself. It's probably an advantage for Usyk that he doesn't speak english and therefore doesn't get exposed to all the social media crap that AJ probably gets exposed to.

And being a southpaw, according to AJ, which he called "lefty nonsense". As a lefty myself this makes me laugh.

Imagine specializing and training that hard only to get beaten by a different stance. If anything i think it's an excuse for AJ to minimise the fact that Usyk is a far better boxer than him. Maybe helps him sleep at night while crying into his money.

He fought better this time but didn't land much until the 9th i think it was. Largely ineffective but that's also due to Usyk's great movement.

Usyk will probably need to be knocked out to be beaten and we have just the man to do it and become unified champ in the process.

Western powers control the media in Ukraine as i'm sure you know, so i imagine their MSM follows the same narrative. In any case, neither has to look at social media, so it's their own fault if that affects them.

Usyk is a great fighter - lve been following his career for a few years - he deserved the win - looked liked he was about to loose it in the 9th - but came back all guns blazing in the 10th / 11th / 12th. As the title holder he did enough to keep his belts IMO
He shares the same birthday as the greatest boxer ever to climb into the political ring - Muhammad Ali - but has said very little about 'the situation' between Russia and Ukraine.

I have no idea what was said in the fight, I boycott mainstream sports and entertainment.

 

I think that tweet was referencing BLM stuff he said a while back, like abstaining from spending money in white owned businesses if I remember correctly.

 

Edit: I should add that I actually think black folks should uplift themselves and support their own businesses more, but they should do it for them, not just to spite others.

l do too on the whole - l use 'alternative means' of accessing occasional pieces
