Indigo
Ukraine run by ‘f****d up people’ – US instructor A video shows the founder of Mozart Group, Andrew Milburn, admitting Kiev’s forces have committed “atrocities” Ukraine should not be placed on a pedestal in the West’s attempts to support the country in its conflict with Russia. That's according to Andrew Milburn, founder of the ‘Mozart Group’, which has been providing training for Kiev’s forces. The retired Marine commander shared his experience and conclusions from working in Ukraine during an appearance on the Team House podcast last month. Attention to the video, which had only amassed some 20,000 views since it was posted, was drawn by Grayzone editor Max Blumenthal on Monday. During the podcast, Milburn stated that Ukraine is a “corrupt, f****d-up society.” While he stressed that continued Western support for the country was important and justified by the need to uphold “global norms,” he suggested that the whole point was “not about Ukraine.” “ I have a Ukrainian flag tied to my bag, but I’m not like ‘oh my God, Ukraine is so awesome,’ because I understand that there are plenty of f****d up people running Ukraine,” Milburn said, admitting that he’s really “not a big fan” of the country. He also stated that “a number of things” that Kiev’s forces do with Russian POWs violate the Hague convention on the laws of armed conflict, especially when it comes to filming interrogations of captured Russian soldiers and posting them online. Milburn noted that the trainers from Mozart Group don’t condone such acts and have always tried to distance themselves from any unit that showed them videos of killing Russian POWs. “We’ve been shown those videos plenty of times,” he said, adding that “there were plenty” of atrocities being committed by Ukrainian forces and “all kinds of atrocities to go around.” He did stress, however, that most of the groups his trainers have dealt with were “very professional” and did not resort to such acts. While Milburn’s Mozart Group claims charity status, it is considered to be among the largest private military companies currently working in Ukraine and has been providing military training to Ukrainian soldiers since the early days of the conflict. However, it has also been the source of several damning reports on the dark underbelly of Kiev’s armed forces. Back in August, Milburn was quoted by CBS news in a since-deleted report that revealed how Western-supplied weapons were disappearing in Ukraine and popping up on the black market. Recently, he was also quoted by Newsweek in a report revealing that the Ukrainian military was seeing casualty rates of 70% or more, contrary to official Kiev’s claims. https://www.rt.com/russia/568994-us-instructor-ukraine-corruption/ Speaking of fucked up people running Ukraine: https://rumble.com/v227fs0-putin-starts-the-war-the-plane-is-flying-i-am-running-with-a-gun.html Edited December 28, 2022 by Indigo

Indigo
Editor-in-chief of Russian news outlet arrested in Latvia Marat Kasem from Sputnik Lithuania has been reportedly accused of espionage and could face up to 20 years behind bars Latvia has arrested the editor-in-chief of the Lithuanian branch of the Russian news agency, Sputnik. Marat Kasem was taken into custody on a court order, his lawyer announced on Thursday. The journalist is accused of breaching EU sanctions and has been charged with espionage, Sputnik reports. Kasem’s lawyer, Imma Jansone, has not yet been able to review his case materials, according to the news outlet. Jansone asked the court to release the journalist on bail but a judge decided to keep him in custody. Kasem was immediately transferred to Riga’s central jail on Thursday. Kasem is a Latvian citizen, though he has been living in Moscow for several years, working for the Rossiya Segodnya media group, which Sputnik Lithuania is part of. He returned to Latvia for family reasons before New Year's eve. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova slammed the move as a violation of Latvia’s international commitments regarding freedom of speech, adding that Moscow will request the assistance of international organizations over Kasem’s arrest. Speaking to RIA Novosti news agency, the head of Rossiya Segodnya media group, Dmitry Kiselyov, said Kasem’s arrest was “absurd” and “lawless.” He also called these types of actions a “dangerous tendency” that affects all of the EU. Kiselyov added that Kasem had frequently spoken of having a feeling of being politically persecuted. Kasem had already faced persecution in the Baltic states before his arrest. In 2019, he was detained upon arrival at Vilnius Airport and labeled “a threat to the national security” of Lithuania. He was then deported to Latvia. At the time, it was revealed that the journalist had been placed on a blacklist of people barred from entering Lithuania. In 2018, Russian journalist, Sputnik Latvia’s editor-in-chief, Valentin Rozentsov, was detained at Riga Airport. He was held in police custody and interrogated for 12 hours before being released. In 2021, Moscow slammed the persecution of Russian journalists in the Baltic states as a “flagrant attack on democracy,” saying it considered what it called a degradation of media freedoms there “concerning.” The developments come as the three Baltic nations maintain hardline stances on Moscow’s actions amid the conflict in Ukraine. Last month, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, as well as Poland and Slovakia, all lodged a formal protest against French President Emmanuel Macron’s proposal that NATO should offer Russia security guarantees, according to Reuters. https://www.rt.com/russia/569438-sputnik-lithuania-editor-arrested/ Reporter or Spy? Spanish journalist completes 60 days jailed in Poland and no one seems to care "Pablo González was arrested by Poland in February. He was born in Moscow but moved to the Basque Country as a child and has both Spanish and Russian passports. He works for Spanish media and was arrested in February while reporting on Ukrainian refugees in Poland, near the Ukrainian border. He’s incommunicado and not even his wife or children can talk to him. Poland accuses him of being a spy for the Russian GRU. He denies it and says he’s just a reporter doing his job. He could get 10 years in jail for the charge. Spanish authorities are silent on the issue, and in Spanish media you can’t find almost anything about him. He was also previously interrogated by the Spanish intelligence agency CNI. What’s going on? This is not in Ukraine, but Poland, an EU country". Pablo Gonzalez ends 2022 in a Polish prison, without trial and without evidence against him The journalist has a new team of lawyers who are preparing for the end of the last extension granted by the Polish court, which will coincide with the one year anniversary of his imprisonment. On 28 February Pablo González was arrested at his hotel by the ABW, the Polish intelligence service. It was not the first time that the journalist had had a run-in with a country's secret services. A few weeks earlier, he had been detained by Ukrainian spies in Ukraine, and in Spain his family and friends had received a visit from the National Intelligence Centre (CNI) a few days before his arrest. In less than a month, three secret services from three different countries were interested in this journalist with dual Spanish and Russian nationality. Later, the head of the British MI6 also defined him as a spy. Again, without presenting any evidence. Pablo González is an expert on the post-Soviet space. He studied Slavic languages at the University of Barcelona and a master's degree in Multimedia Journalism in Bilbao. And he was educated in these two communities because, since he moved to Spain from the Soviet Union as a child, his life has been practically divided between Catalonia and the Basque Country. Pablo was born in 1982 in Moscow. In fact, he has spent 40 years locked up in Poland. His parents are Russian, but he is the grandson of one of the so-called war children. When he was nine years old, his parents divorced and his mother took Pavel Aleksevich Rubtsov (Pablo's name in Russia) to Spain, to Catalonia, changed his name and gave him her surname: Pablo González Yagüe. The Rzeszów court in charge of the case used this detail as evidence for its accusations. In the first pre-trial detention order, Criminal Chamber II of that court attributed two aliases to the journalist: Aleksey Rubtsov and Pavel Rubtsov. This inference was based on Pablo González's Russian passport and, in reality, the first alias only reflects the patronymic for his father's first name, Aleksiej, which appears in the document as Aleksevich. This is the only detail that has come to light of the alleged evidence that the Polish authorities have against the journalist. For more details about the reasons for his arrest, one can only go to the press release published in Polish and English by the Internal Security Agency (ABW) that arrested him. In these communications, it was stated that Pablo González was an agent of Russian intelligence (GRU) and that he had used "his journalistic status" to "move freely around Europe and the world, including in areas affected by armed conflicts and regions of political tension" to access "information whose use by the Russian secret services could have a negative impact" on Poland's security. In addition, it was stated that "extensive evidence was obtained with the detainee" and was being analysed in detail. Today, ten months later, none of this "extensive evidence" has come to light. During the first days of his imprisonment, Pablo Gonzalez was held in a prison in the town of Rzeszów, near Przemyśl, the town where he was arrested. He remained there until the end of April when he was transferred to Radom prison, about 100 kilometres from Warsaw. Since then, he has repeatedly complained about the poor conditions in which he is being held. In a brief submitted to the Strasbourg Court, he explained the constant surveillance to which he is subjected and the food shortages he suffers. He spends his days locked in a cell without a companion and can only go out, when he is allowed, for one hour a day without contact with other prisoners. In addition, with the arrival of winter, he has asked the Spanish Embassy in Poland for help to intercede on his behalf so that he can have special clothing for the cold. For now, he has only managed to get an extra blanket. The Spanish Embassy and, specifically, the consul Eduardo Merino de Mena, is one of the few contacts with the outside world. Together with his lawyers, this diplomat is the one who has been able to visit Pablo González most often in prison, whom the Polish authorities have kept practically incommunicado until 22 November. On that day, the mother of his children, Oihana Goiriena, was able to enter the prison and speak for almost two hours with the journalist. Although at all times they were accompanied by an agent of the Polish secret services. These are the only physical contacts he has had with people on the outside. The rest of the news from outside comes to him through letters sent to him in prison by family and friends. In fact, a few weeks ago, an initiative was launched so that Pablo González could receive texts of support from anyone who wanted to send them to the prison. Pablo González's lawyers are among the few people who have been able to visit him in prison on a regular basis. But not all of them. Gonzalo Boye, who has been advising the journalist since he was held in Ukraine in early February, has not yet been able to see him in person. On 28 February, when the Polish secret services arrested Pablo González in the early hours of the morning, he called the mother of his children and asked her to contact his lawyer. In the morning, Boye informed her of the arrest and began to make arrangements to assist the journalist. However, Pablo ended up testifying without legal assistance and was remanded in custody. From this moment on, the whole case has been involved in a huge tangle of bureaucratic procedures and administrative problems. In the first weeks of detention, two court-appointed lawyers were assigned to the case, but both resigned. Faced with this situation, the reporter's entourage decided to hire a Polish lawyer: Bartosz Rogala. Currently, due to the complications of the case - there is an accusation of espionage - and the particularity of Polish law, in addition to Boye and Rogala, the advice of a Polish criminal law firm experienced in complex trials has been hired. Next February, Pablo González will spend a year in pre-trial detention in Poland without having been given a fair trial and without any details of the evidence against him having come to light. The legal team handling the case is now studying the actions to be taken when the last extension granted by the court expires. https://www.publico.es/internacional/pablo-gonzalez-concluye-2022-prision-polonia-juicio-hayan-presentado-pruebas.html Edited January 7 by Indigo

Ukraine's terrorism of 2022, and since 2014 in fact, continues into 2023, unsurprisingly. Just as unsurprisingly, Western media ignores or whitewashes it, and the West keeps absurdly pledging more weapons to Ukraine. Geopolitical analyst Brian Berletic routinely notes that the weapons/military aid the west supplies Ukraine is no where near what Ukraine needs to recover its losses, much less challenge Russia. And the West knows this, knows their weapons are being used instead to slaughter Donbass civilians and target infrastructure, and still they send it.... Indigo
Ukrainian Organ Harvesting? Ukrainian widows think so... and Big Pharma? SHOCK! Interview with Zelensky Goon, Mikhail Maiman, turned Ukrainian whistleblower! https://rumble.com/v24rnfl-shock-interview-with-zelensky-goon-mikhail-maiman-turned-ukrainian-whistleb.html Guys, this is a shocking interview with a high-ranking member of the Ukrainian military. His name is Michael Maiman. He's not exactly what you would call an angel. On BEHALF of the Ukrainian government, he's a narcotics dealer, an arms broker, a traitor and a general piece of human garbage like the majority of the people in the Ukrainian government. He details how the Ukrainian government is making hundreds of thousands of dollars in narcotics for the troops EVERY DAY, and how he personally brokered American weapons, like Javelins, to other countries that support terrorism against the United States of America. This is one of the most shocking interviews I have ever done. In full disclosure, I did NOT follow the most ethical journalistic methods. I did not tell him who I was or where I live, I only told him I was an American journalist (which is true). I'm an investigator, not a journalist. And if the cops can lie or distort facts to get the truth from a criminal, then so can I. I recorded this video last month but didn't release it immediately because I had to verify and was trying to come up with the money to buy the videos of corrupt officials he has. And has them he does. Verified. I simply couldn't find nearly enough, so I've decided to just run with the interview as it is.
