Imo we need to find out if this is a "false flag" asap and then carpet bomb platforms with our own shitposting to counteract the propaganda.

Do you guys think this will slowly die this story? Or is it heading to be another convid?

I know the BBC is hardly a trustworthy source of news, but I found this story earlier today quite interesting:

Ukraine conflict: Further false images shared online

Quote

The second day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine has been accompanied by further false or misleading imagery on social media claiming to be from the conflict.

Some show military action taken from older conflicts, while other viral videos have proved difficult to verify.

One video clip seen by the BBC and proven to be several years old has been viewed more than 27 million times in one day, while another showed video game footage.

From: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/60528276

Now during the whole 'Covid' episode, it was obvious that the mainstream media (MSM) was pushing a false narrative, but equally I do also believe there were others in the 'alternative circles' pushing a load of fakery.

I now find it strange that the 'fact-checkers' are going to great lengths to 'debunk' viral videos that would otherwise 'support' the current narrative.

Now as Richard D Hall would say, there seems to be a "need to persuade" from the MSM - "our videos and footage are real, anything else you see is fake or staged".

But what about the possibility of the MSM footage being "staged or faked"?

I don't want to come across as being "pro-Russia" or to be seen as being in denial of events that are taking place. They may well be happening, I don't know.

All I do know is that I find it difficult to believe what the western MSM is telling us, and equally the likes of RT are going to be spinning a different side to the narrative.

The amount of virtue-signalling going on right now is incredible. I've been reading about protests against Russia being held in my native city of Birmingham, and the likes of EE and BT are apparently making calls to Ukraine 'free'.

And I also notice with interest that the same 'talking heads' who appeared to be 'on our side' during the Covid episode, especially those who pushed the anti-China narrative, are now pushing the anti-Russia narrative, very much on board again with the MSM.

Be careful who you trust and follow, as we're very much being played off against each other yet again, and all being played for fools.

I posted this & there seems to be hundreds of posts on Twatted about it, but no actual source for the gas leak.

To me shes an obvious crisis actor & the fact she was plastered over all the newspapers, she must be the only crisis actor available in the whole of Ukraine.

I believe fat chequers released the gas leak props to cover up the fact shes too obvious.

Slight of hand psyop.

They seem to do it with other 'fake news' like Arma planes & other CGI fakery.

Then they can claim anything thats not from Big Brother media is lies.

I genuinely have sympathy for anyone who finds themself caught up in this needless conflict.

But for the rest of us all (ie anyone who doesn't live in Ukraine), this is all another psychological operation, designed to twist and manipulate our thoughts, and have us living 'in fear'.

This "war" only exists when we watch the rolling news channels or look at news websites.

Me personally, I am not affected by this at all. I was travelling out and about today, and it seems that many people are not affected or bothered by this at all. I was on a bus travelling into Birmingham city centre this afternoon, and I was sat in front of a young family, looking forward to shopping at Primark. Most other people were just going about their regular routine.

If you sit at home glued to the BBC News Channel, then yes, this is going to psychologically affect you, just like sitting and watching the constant stream of "Covid updates" will have affected you.

I prefer to exist in the 'real world', that which exists and is happening outside of the TV and internet.

And I still can't get over the fact that the current president of Ukraine is a former actor who made his name in a TV series where he played the role of... the president of Ukraine.

We all need to laugh through the ongoing insanity ( They hate that - they can't deal with it )

Thanks for a genuine interpretation of fact checkers.

Never heard that one before - I'll be laughing in my sleep tonight.

Great post Grumpy puts things into a bit more perspective for me.

According to the Guardian, the Germans are sending weapons to  Ukraine. They're sending anti-tank missiles and missiles. Being a NATO member, isn't that an act of aggression? This could escalate into a Europe-wide war unless cool heads intervene. Never thought I'd live to see one.

Last time I checked, Ukraine was neither a member of NATO, nor part of the European Union (EU).

It's all poltical wrangling / cock-swinging

It's not just Germany...  Britain, France & U.S have been doing it too.  The Germans were the last to start, they had some law (a remnant from WW2) that prevented them from doing it.

Usa are running war, from poland, using there war planes.

Usa military are in ukraine, and usa military is running it from inside poland, and flying there war planes on poland ukraine border, just to keep within nato countries.

Usa, and allies do not think russia knows this.

Usa running war from poland, is how usa military is getting around not activating nato yet, and using usa military in ukraine.

Just remember this.

So all you people without any knowledge understand how, usa is there in ukraine fighting, and there planes are running there war, flying, on ukraines border with poland. Being in poland means they can pretend that they are not in ukraine, but run the war from nato country poland.

I wonder if one of these threads will become bigger than the covid mega thread? 🤔

We have had 2 years of the CONVID News Show and people were getting tired of it. Now we have the makings of the CONWAR News Show, again with fakery, manipulation and exaggeration, which could end up spinning out for a long time, resulting in a WW3 Mega Thread of many thousands of pages.
