Common E numbers found in ultra-processed foods such as pastries, ready meals and chocolate increase risk of heart attacks and strokes, study suggests

By John Ely Senior Health Reporter For Mailonline

Updated: 23:30 BST, 6 September 2023

A high intake of certain agents used in ultra-processed food (UPF) has been linked to an increased risk of heart attacks, angina and strokes, according to a new study.

French researchers said their findings, published in The BMJ, could be used to help re-evaluate regulations in the food industry 'to protect consumers'.

They explored the health implications of certain emulsifiers, which are used to preserve and add texture to packaged foods such as cakes, ice cream, bread, margarine and ready meals.

Some scientists have already suggested the agents can impact gut bacteria and increase inflammation, potentially adding to a risk of heart problems.

The team looked at a cohort of 95,442 French adults with no history of heart disease, who were taking part in a study between 2009 and 2021.

Supposedly eco-friendly paper coffee cups are just as toxic as plastic ones and may be linked to birth defects and other health problems - a week after similar finding with disposable straws

By Matthew Phelan For Dailymail.Com

Updated: 17:21 BST, 6 September 2023

Supposedly eco-friendly paper cups may be just as toxic to the environment and human body as plastic ones, a study suggests.

Scientists in Sweden found the thin-film of plastic coated onto the surfaces of disposable paper cups to keep their contents from seeping into the paper emit toxic substances.

In experiments that involved insects caused birth defects and other developmental damage, both when the paper cup was left to biodegrade in water as well as when left in sediment or dirt.

The news comes just weeks after similar results from researchers in Belgium, who found that paper straws tested high in concentrations of the group of toxic synthetic 'forever chemicals'.

Now, the Swedish researchers are calling for 'transparency requirements within the plastics industry' hoping to force 'clear reporting of what chemicals all products contain, much like in the pharmaceutical industry.'

Thanks Mac. I remember seeing a documentary about the Amish, and when they were talking with the women who did the household cleaning, they pointed to a storeroom with a large stock of basic Amish soap, and said that's what they use for all their cleaning. Just simple soap. So I'm trying to follow their example.

those amish hey.....not looking so daft nowadays are they?

when we understand that the cabal own the lions share of the corporations then we can understand how so many everyday corporate products have been weaponised against us. So many of them are trojan horses that contain some kind of poison and the carrot dangled to take that horse into our homes is always convenience

That's true and when the corporations control the full information about the products, then the convenience turns out to be an illusion.  It's not at all convenient when you're poisoned and develop cancer or infertility. We need to do a fully informed cost vs benefit analysis which is of course denied to us. I did one when calculating whether it was worth getting a car, yes you can drive faster than cycling on a bike but when you include the extra time taken earning the money to pay for it, your average speed overall comes right down and it's not so attractive.

I couldn't live like the Amish and similar groups but I'm mighty glad they're around to show us some of the craziness of our world.

Hormone-Disrupting Chemical Found in Nine Out of Ten Europeans, Study Shows

The chemical in question is Bisphenol A that is often used in plastic packages and therefore praised by the food industry. According to some researchers, BPA may disrupt human hormones and lead to serious conditions, including breast cancer and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Bisphenol A aka BPA – a chemical allegedly responsible for hormone disruption - was found in the bodies the vast majority of adults in Europe, a report by the European Environment Agency has found. Scientists analyzed urine samples of roughly 2800 people from nearly a dozen countries, including Switzerland, France and Germany.
"A recent Horizon 2020 research initiative, HBM4EU, measured chemicals in people's bodies in Europe and detected BPA in the urine of 92 percent of adult participants from 11 European countries," the watchdog said in an official statement.
The agency warned that Bisphenol A found in samples exceeded maximum levels from 71 to 100 percent which meant that “population exposure to BPA in Europe” is too high and “constitutes a potential health concern.”
According to much research, BPA may affect hormones and cause health disorders including infertility, obesity and various types of cancer.
Bisphenol A is widely used in FMCG industries and may be found in common plastic food containers millions of people use on a daily basis. Previously it was even used as a component for baby bottles, but most countries outlawed such practice a decade ago.

Warning over serious statins side effect as health chiefs urge patients taking cholesterol-busting pills to 'be alert' to potentially killer complication

  • Seven types of statins have been linked to a muscle-weakening condition
  • Patients should look out for droopy eyelids and double vision, watchdog warned

Brits taking statins should be warned about a rare but serious side effect that may have gone under the radar for decades, health chiefs have said.

Seven types of the cholesterol-busting pills, including all five dished out in the UK, have been linked to myasthenia gravis — a long-term muscle-weakening condition that can be life-threatening in severe cases.

Patients taking the once-a-day pill should watch out for symptoms including droopy eyelids, double vision and difficulty swallowing, the medicines watchdog warned.

Atorvastatin, sold under the brand name Lipitor, pravastatin (Lipostat) and lovastatin (Mevacor) — taken by millions and proven to cut the risk of heart attacks and strokes— are among the varieties affected.

Cases of myasthenia gravis were also detected among patients taking fluvastatin (Lescol), simvastatin (Zocor), rosuvastatin (Crestor) and pitavastatin (Livalo).

The fresh advice from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) states that a 'very small number' of myasthenia gravis cases have been linked to statin use.

Around 9.5million Brits take statins, which usually must be taken for life to keep cholesterol low.

Well, why take a statin at all? Older people live longer if they have higher cholesterol. You need cholesterol to make sex hormones and vit D and to keep your brain functioning.

A toxin found in food, drinks and other everyday items lingers longer in the bodies of kids with autism and ADHD, a study suggests.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical compound that has been dubbed a 'gender-bending' chemical because of its ties to hormonal and sexual problems.

Now, researchers from Rowan University and Rutgers University in New Jersey have found that kids with autism and ADHD cannot expel BPA from their bodies as quickly as neurotypical kids. BPA has been linked to both conditions previously, though this is the first to find that kids with ADHD and autism have a harder time eliminating the chemical.

When cancer hits home: Now scientists detect an even MORE toxic type of PFAS 'forever chemical' lurking in people's houses - these are the danger zones

By Luke Andrews Health Reporter For Dailymail.Com

A 'more toxic' type of forever chemical linked to cancer and infertility has been detected at high levels in US homes for the first time.

When regulators started to crack down on PFAS in the early 2000s, many companies switched to shorter versions of the molecule.

But researchers fear these are actually more toxic than their predecessors and, because of their size, are harder to filter out of water.

800,000 Tons of Radioactive Waste From Oil and Gas Industry Is ‘Missing’

A study in Ecological Indicators compared records on Pennsylvania’s oil and gas toxic and radioactive waste from 2010-2020 and uncovered significant gaps between what oil and gas operators reported they’d sent to landfills and what the landfills reported receiving.

By Kristina Marusic

Waste from the oil and gas industry contains toxic and radioactive substances. Disposal of this waste is supposed to be carefully tracked, but 800,000 tons of oil and gas waste from Pennsylvania oil and gas wells is unaccounted for, according to a recent study.

Researchers at the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University initially set out to investigate whether sediment in rivers and streams near landfills accepting higher volumes of oil and gas waste contained higher levels of radioactivity. But they discovered significant problems with the records meant to track this waste.

“We set out to write a different paper,” Daniel Bain, an associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh and one of the authors of the study, told Environmental Health News (EHN), “but once we got into the records, we realized there was no hope of being able to meaningfully do this kind of assessment.”

The study, published in the journal Ecological Indicators, compared records on Pennsylvania’s oil and gas waste from 2010-2020 and uncovered significant gaps between what oil and gas operators reported they’d sent to landfills and what the landfills reported receiving.

The records were so different, that the researchers couldn’t find a single case where the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Oil & Gas Report figures on this hazardous waste matched reports from the landfills receiving it.

This type of waste often contains toxic chemicals and carcinogens, including high levels of heavy metals like arsenic, polyaromatic hydrocarbons and radioactive materials.

Previous research has shown that radioactive contaminants from fracking waste can linger in local waterways and wildlife for decades.

“You assume the people regulating hazardous waste would be double-checking these records,” Bain said. “We thought they could be off by maybe 10% — we didn’t expect anything like this.”

Animal Contraceptive and Antibiotics in Popular Fast Foods, Testing Reveals

Kids may unknowingly be consuming an animal contraceptive when they eat a chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A. In a new report, Moms Across America found veterinary drugs and hormones in foods sold by the 10 most popular fast food restaurants in the U.S.

By Suzanne Burdick, Ph.D.

Kids may unknowingly be consuming an animal contraceptive when they eat a chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A, according to a Moms Across America’s (MAA) report on veterinary drugs and hormones found in food served in the most popular U.S. fast food restaurants.

The nonprofit MAA this month released results from food samples tested for veterinary drugs, including antibiotics and hormones. Health Research Institute, a Fairfield, Iowa, nonprofit independent lab, conducted the testing.

The results showed that a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich contained nicarbazin, an antiparasitic that also functions as a bird contraceptive.

Sixty percent of samples from the U.S.’ top 10 fast food chains also contained the antibiotic monensin, which can cause severe harm in humans and remains unapproved for human use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Zen Honeycutt, MAA’s founder and executive director, called the results “shocking” and “disturbing,” especially because some fast food chains supply school lunches.

Honeycutt and other healthy food advocates on Oct. 17 will present the test results to U.S. lawmakers during a congressional briefing on U.S. food toxicity.

Thirty million school meals are served to our children each day,” Honeycutt told The Defender, “and for millions of underprivileged children, these toxic meals are their only access to nutrition.” She added:

“The impact of millions of Americans, especially children and young adults, consuming a known animal contraceptive daily is concerning.

“With infertility problems on the rise, the reproductive health of this generation is front and center for us, in light of these results.”

Commenting on MAA’s fast food testing initiative, attorney Michael Baum, a senior partner at Wisner Baum said:

“Toxins like the ones Moms Across America’s testing found in major fast foods don’t belong in anybody’s food, especially children’s food.

“Repeated exposure to them can build up and cause unexpected harms — kudos to Moms Across America for getting this testing done and published.”

Under Baum’s leadership, the law firm has won billions of dollars in consumer fraud and product liability cases against major pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, including Bayer Corp. (formerly Monsanto), Eli Lilly, Forest Labs, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer and more.

Baum added, “These fast food companies should now take steps to eliminate the toxins from what they offer kids and adults to eat.”

In recent years concerns about the contaminants in our foods and everyday products have made headlines due to their links to cancers.

But a growing body of research suggests the microscopic molecules also have a devastating effect on fertility and may be contributing to America's 'baby bust'.

In two new reviews of scientific literature, researchers from across the globe looked at the impact of exposure to endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) on male and female reproductive health.

They found these substances can cause infertility, genital malformations, lower sperm count and quality, early menopause and an increased risk of breast and testicular cancers.

EDCs include PFAS but also pesticides, phenols, a group of chemicals found in toys and dental products; phthalates, a group of chemicals in food packaging; parabens, a group of chemicals used as food preservatives; and triclosan, an antimicrobial agent used in soaps and hand sanitizers.

Some impacts in women from EDCs include early menopause, an increased risk of breast cancer, endometriosis, which can lead to infertility, and metabolic syndrome, which increases the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes

Carmine: A Food Colorant Made From Crushed Bugs?!

By Christine Ruggeri, CHHC

May 10, 2020

You know those bright red lollipops, candies, ice creams and baked goods? Chances are they’re made with carmine, a common red food and cosmetic dye.

Unlike other natural food dyes, like annatto — which comes from the seeds of the achiote tree  carmine is made with crushed insects. That’s right — insects that are dried, ground and used to make a colorant.

On the other hand, this red colorant is not made from synthetic, potentially dangerous ingredients like coal or petroleum (like Red dye 40), so could it be considered the healthiest option?

Carmine does come with potential side effects, and it is, after all, made with insects, so it may be best to avoid it altogether.

What Is Carmine?

Carmine is a dye that’s found in some food products to create a red color. The food colorant is also called cochineal extract, which comes from the insect species Dactylopius coccus Costa.

My own research in the ‘early days’ lead me to the GMO connection, which was something of an important/ favourite subject of mine.  I read through some of the comments in the Mail and thought I’d share this one;

Katrina C.

“ For all of you brilliant know-it-alls who are solving the world's problems here by announcing that fat people just eat too much, there is more to it than that.

And some of the first people who will tell you this are foreigners themselves, after they move to America and gain weight suddenly for no reason.

America has been doing some GMO editing to our produce supply for decades to try to lower our fertility rates, and it has caused hormonal problems here.

There is almost an epidemic of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in America.

Half of the obesity problem in America are probably weight gain from hormonal disruption which is not related to calories. “

GM corn set to stop man spreading his seed

Robin McKie, science editor
Sun 9 Sep 2001 05.49 ED

Scientists have created the ultimate GM crop: contraceptive corn. Waiving fields of maize may one day save the world from overpopulation.

The pregnancy prevention plants are the handiwork of the San Diego biotechnology company Epicyte, where researchers have discovered a rare class of human antibodies that attack sperm.

By isolating the genes that regulate the manufacture of these antibodies, and by putting them in corn plants, the company has created tiny horticultural factories that make contraceptives.

'We have a hothouse filled with corn plants that make anti-sperm antibodies,' said Epicyte president Mitch Hein.

'We have also created corn plants that make antibodies against the herpes virus, so we should be able to make a plant-based jelly that not only prevents pregnancy but also blocks the spread of sexual disease.'

Contraceptive corn is based on research on the rare condition, immune infertility, in which a woman makes antibodies that attack sperm.

'Essentially, the antibodies are attracted to surface receptors on the sperm,' said Hein. 'They latch on and make each sperm so heavy it cannot move forward. It just shakes about as if it was doing the lambada.'

Normally, biologists use bacteria to grow human proteins. However, Epicyte decided to use corn because plants have cellular structures that are much more like those of humans, making them easier to manipulate.

The company, which says it will not grow the maize near other crops, says it plans to launch clinical trials of the corn in a few months.

Massive Rise in Childhood Leukemia ‘Likely’ Caused by Glyphosate

The Global Glyphosate Study, a multi-institutional long-term study coordinated by the Ramazzini Institute, today released data linking glyphosate-based weedkillers, like Monsanto-Bayer’s Roundup, to the 35% rise in childhood leukemia since 1975.

Childhood Leukemia and leukemia in young adults has increased by an estimated 35% since 1975, with an increase most recently of around 1% a year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

A group of independent scientists from around the world could have just discovered one of the reasons for this — glyphosate-based weedkillers, including Bayer’s Roundup.

The overall incidence of pediatric cancer in the U.S. increased by 0.5% annually on average between 2003 and 2019, according to a CDC study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute in July, with a larger rate of increase in childhood leukemia being the major driver of this worrying trend.

Leukemia is now by far the most common cancer in kids.

“When you see an increase like that — that fast — in a short period of time, most likely it is going to be driven by some exposure to environmental factors,” says Catherine Metayer, M.D., Ph.D., an adjunct professor at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health, stated recently.

On Wednesday the Global Glyphosate Study presented their first data, which shows that the most widely used weedkiller in the world is likely to be a major cause of the massive rise in childhood leukemia.

This multi-institutional international toxicological study has found that low doses of glyphosate-based herbicides cause leukemia in rats. Importantly, half of the leukemia deaths identified in the study groups occurred at an early age.

In this long-term study, glyphosate alone and two commercial formulations, Roundup BioFlow (MON 52276) used in the European Union (EU) and Ranger Pro (EPA 524-517) used in the U.S., were administered to rats via drinking water beginning in prenatal life, at doses of 0.5, 5 and 50 milligrams per kilogram of body weight per day.

These doses are currently considered safe by regulatory agencies and correspond to the EU’s acceptable daily intake and the EU’s no observed adverse effect level for glyphosate.

Dr. Daniele Mandrioli, the coordinator of the Global Glyphosate Study and the director of The Ramazzini Institute, stated on Wednesday:

“About half of the leukemia deaths seen in the rats exposed to glyphosate and glyphosate-based herbicides occurred at less than one year of age.

“By contrast, no cases of leukemia have been observed below one year of age in more than 1600 Sprague-Dawley rats studied over the past two decades by the U.S. National Toxicology Program (NTP) and the Ramazzini Institute.”

The Global Glyphosate Study is the most comprehensive toxicological study ever conducted on glyphosate and glyphosate-based herbicides. It provides vital data for government regulators, policymakers and the general public.

It examines the impacts of glyphosate and glyphosate-based herbicides on carcinogenicity, neurotoxicity, multi-generational effects, organ toxicity, endocrine disruption and prenatal developmental toxicity. Multiple peer-reviewed papers from the study are set to be published from early 2024 onwards.

Mandrioli concluded:

“These findings are of such great relevance for public health that we decided it was vital to present them now in advance of publication. The full data will be made publicly available and submitted for publication in a scientific journal in the coming weeks.”

The Global Glyphosate Study findings on glyphosate’s toxicity to the microbiome, which were peer-reviewed and published in late 2022 and presented at the EU Parliament in 2023, also showed adverse effects at doses that are currently considered safe in the EU (0.5 milligrams per kilogram of body weight per day, equivalent to the EU Acceptable Daily Intake).

The Global Glyphosate Study previously published a pilot study, which showed endocrine and reproductive toxicity in rats at glyphosate doses currently considered safe by regulatory agencies in the U.S. (1.75 milligrams per kilogram of body weight per day).

Mercury is a neurotoxin, and there continues to be a contention that this amount doesn’t exceed the safe limits. But I did the calculation, and when my son was receiving these mercury-laden vaccines, he was exceeding the EPA and the FDA limits by over 80 times. I was very, very concerned about the mercury-containing preservative thimerosal that was used in many, if not most of the vaccines that my son received in the late 1990s.

Thanks for this. I searched ADD and started to read this. I'm also astonished about the Mercury or Thimerosal but it's completely taken as fine and normal, or just mostly unknown!? I'm hearing about more and more kids with autism and where is the demands to question WHY? Instead it's just merged into 'entertainment' to make it normal and acceptable.

As ADHD is classed as a disability parents can also get financial assistance which probably helps to keep it quiet?

PIP health conditions
Claim PIP for ADHD

In 2023, there were 52,989 PIP claimants with ADHD listed as their main disabling condition. This makes it the fourteenth most common condition to get an award of PIP for out of over 500 conditions listed by the DWP.

So, if you have ADHD and it affects your daily living activities, such as cooking, washing, dressing or mixing with other people or your ability to get around, you should definitely consider making a claim.

You can read more about claiming PIP for ADHD or take our simple online test now to find out if you might be able to make a claim.

PIP TEST FOR ADHD

Success rates

The success rate for PIP claims for ADHD is 43%, compared to an overall average of 53%.  So you have a less than average chance of getting an award for ADHD.

Award rates

41% of PIP claimants with ADHD, get the enhanced rate of both the daily living and the mobility component.

Daily living awards

Enhanced daily living 73.5%
Standard daily living 24.5%
No daily living 2%

Mobility awards

Enhanced mobility 45%
Standard mobility 30%
No mobility 25%

98% of claimants with ADHD who get an award get the daily living component, compared to 75% who get the mobility component.

Age range

The ages of those currently in receipt of PIP for ADHD are:

16-29 years  79%
30-49 years  19%
50-64 years  2%
65 and over  0%

So, unlike most PIP conditions, it is massively skewed towards younger claimants. Many of these are likely to have been transferred from DLA when reaching 16 years of age.

The current rates of PIP are:

Daily Living component
Standard rate: £68.10
Enhanced rate: £101.75

Mobility component
Standard rate: £26.90
Enhanced rate: £71.00

So, an award of the enhanced rate of PIP for both components means an extra £172.75 a week.

PIP  is paid on top of almost every other benefit and may lead to an increase in some benefits or entitlement to additional benefits.

The enhanced rate of the mobility component also gives access to the Motability scheme.

Points for ADHD

Below are some examples of the issues that you might have because of ADHD.  Do remember, that if you have other conditions, you can take those into account too.

Procrastination linked to ADHD may mean you keep putting off preparing food until you are so hungry that you just eat whatever is quickest, like a bowl of cereal, so you need prompting to prepare a meal.

You may need prompting to eat cooked food because you are so engaged in other activities or thoughts that you will not spare the time to consume anything but biscuits and coffee.

You might wash or bathe but not to an acceptable standard because, for example, you have a shower but forget to use soap unless someone is supervising you.

Because of poor impulse control you may frequently speak aloud thoughts that cause offence to other people, so you need social support..

Hyperactivity and impulsivity may mean you are not safe when near traffic, crossing roads or dealing with other outdoor hazards.

WHY is the big question that should be asked.

No one can do a scientific test where they can then show you a sample under a microscope or a scan where they can point to something and say 'see there is the autism'. It's not actually a thing. 'autism' is just a label that is being given to a cluster of behaviours but if they call it autism then it makes it seem like something that just exists in nature that just happens like the seasons and therefore just needs to be accepted with fortitude as something that is an inevitable part of life.

There are many people who now have a financial interest in maintaining that perception of the matter. There are all the layers of the nanny state who claim to be helping the children (whilst autism goes from 1 in 10,000 kids 40 years ago to 1 in 50 now, and climbing), there are the parents claiming disability allowance and there are the people in the medical fraternity whose jobs retain credibility for keeping the lid on this issue.

If we are correct in saying that neurological and behavioural problems are caused by things like vaccines and glyphosate and fluoride and so on then there are of course all the people profitting from the manufacturing and delivery of those products who are also financially benefitting.

So there are powerful economic forces preventing an honest assessment of what is happening to children. of course another word for this is cowardice

Mostly agree I suppose. IF only looking at it from a systemic POV, but let's concentrate a little extra on actual HEALTH on its' own terms for the most part here~~ as follows by my own FLEXIBLE take on the matter, which as you see is **delivered broadly in broad analysis even when my own knowledge just as anyone's could always use improving** but by which the current status suggests AFAIK, treating this subject with a bit of sensitivity is the only rightful approach able to be applied LACKING the full depth of [scientific/ or moreover Holistic] knowledge by anybody where that applies with the tools to match in approaching the subject FAIRLY....

Even so, I will start taking a leaf perhaps from The Macnamara Report, [sts]... (but generally qualifying instruction via reliance mainly consisting on my own thoughts & words~ and indeed perception should that be necessary to call into question, by which we all have to at some point...)

Normalized Status Quo:- How Does it Go or even Get Go currently?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Well to liken a bit with what Mac said, anything prevalent, and normalized will tend to proliferate whether it was initiated with good intent or not (especially if a government centered operation obviously), but moving off that SOON in my lower down text, by keeping more focus in the area of most concern which is primarily HEALTH above all else, (in other words health authorities do what they do, and I do what I do as FREE INDIVIDUAL).....but many a time if misguided authority aka the powerful economic structural forces feed and reinforce half truths or outright fibs and present to the masses blurry facts & dialects of what presented as functional and ordinary, BUT this CAN of course (for the "all seeing" or more scrutinizing among us), become problematic, and regarding the more pragmatic, the public purse there too as a perceivable some may say un-natural orchestrated consequence, as well as a result as what public wants to pay for non distinct faculties of our nature when assessed for system guided benefit reward if we are even eligible in the first place, well this for some part is very sad as a way to construct a resolution FOR GENUINE HEALTH no???... as if destruction is the new form of being constructive?? -- except of course for those who are PERHAPS the not so deserving beneficiaries without any true symptoms or mental difficulty in processing data in their own mind subject to certain personified individual difficulties WHERE UPON TRUE DIAGNOSIS WOULD ELSE AGREE GENUINE in the right circumstances.

Etherway for my say, wherein I am leading astray due to my own personal expressions, or guesswork inferences, I apologize, as for any misunderstandings.....but where to see MY TRUE INTENT OF EXPRESSION in these matters, THAT, BE SURE, is not to lead anywhere but to where optimum health is fully respected....

However as other posters or hush hush read only members may conclude, by whoever in society knowingly claiming benefits not fully deserving, this is of course cause for concern.

People who falsely play along such as drawing on disability benefit unaccountably could be among the guilty parties..... The question is, how apart from head counting can we know this is going on, disingenuously to mould public perception into a tidal wave of indifference whilst at the same time being guided into too vague catagories of HEALTH RECOGNITION labelling etc.

BUT first before we make too many judgements first let's start by stating broadly~ but  it* is* a* BIG* BUT* where who can say with autism, or ADHD or anything loosely defined (is ADHD loosely defined the same, I don't know), but where concluded yes, something is too loosely defined, in such as Autism, then maybe there is room there for improvement or remodelling, as to whether a state of mind is struggling enough to be genuine and needs help.... and so too to really constitute justifying as much financial income as PERHAPS as one gets?? Or as the broad symptoms would perhaps seem to suggest viable and acceptable under some models??...

(if that is anywhere near the truth I couldn't commit to say, but it is easy to imagine a scenario that is perhaps so if as Macnamara says autism is on the incline or increase... and if not a true reflection of something conclusively or authentically autistic, then be on guard, but those awarded it anyway who are not genuine case, then yes become for some part become a drain on the financial system, even when the government knows it and perhaps even 'courts' it).....

Then if and when this is happening, we might have to usher a new way around how we perceive and award 'need' (or whatever translated into "qualifiable need") according to what merits with a little more certainty may transpire under a better adjudicating system. (NOT throwing too much fuel on to the fire thankyou!!... but I am not particularly digging away into conspiracies right here is my meaning.....HEALTH IS KEY, HEALTH IS ALL)

Still there is the question that may keep arising of whether a system is deliberately making it a trend to proliferate those people we might call autistic, or whatever else subject to similiar banding confusion, and so apportioning them in some totally broad banding that MAYBE too large in scope for anything analytical to come to light, but providing the overall model is reasonable and at least semi-reliable, then research and scientific data, almost takes a back seat in the meanwhile and discretion is allowed instead to be applied by diagnozers given consent to diagnoze in official status but as largely independent businesses.
Coming back to the core issue however, this difficulty of an inexact science for use in assessment can ease somewhat, by carrying out assessments, on an each individual case by case basis in some degree of personal alignment... ONCE WOULD THINK BEST... so anyway that is my REASONABLY BROAD hope that IF it can be managed WELL, and most cases brought to light would despite being carried out maybe in much the same method of testing, still show better results for accuracy, regardless of class or institution or provision of service, so providing facility for diagnosis anywhere by the ideal, whilst still providing a relative standard for a VALIDATED FAIR DIAGNOSIS on any health assessment or disability thereof, especially if easy to see it is genuine and where some people ARE in need of supportive measures doubtless to say.

And so if (as I have been aiming to do here) we are largely in the bigger picture thinking humanistically and thinking purely in terms of health, = let it be FOR THE RIGHT REASONS we do so, about when it comes to who should be awarded and who not based on a fair system, and not a system drip fed biases in subtle ways unseen, this I imagine is always the tricky fine line and difficulty for fair or gray area diplomacy under conditions less than perfect, but the system by itself does of course not always play fair to this end, nor even does it do what is logical except by our conditioning put onto our train of thought for moulding a certain kind of perception of what is said to be ideal, or designed to appeal to the masses as fair even when it is clearly not, and so we come to the other extreme where we are willing to perhaps concede or waiver or just ignore, where the conditions to be met in the first place are being flouted or poorly defined in regards to actual behavioural and intellectual challenges that all said should be better verified anyways in order to apply better standards of adjudication, (in regard to health matters, and SUBSEQUENTLY ONCE DIAGNOSED however loose the terms by which something is diagnosed exist, then possible undue strain is put on any finances supporting the claimant given a loose diagnosis that is perhaps mal-conceived diagnosis in some cases).

SO let's remind ourselves again, whether we are ignorant of autism or not, :)))) we AS PEOPLE have not always distinct characteristics on which to base such crucial life sustaining decisions in the eyes of overly stringent means wheresoever applied for testing such characteristics (that is to say if we even know what we are looking for in the first place)....

Wherein instead better would be to more accurately gage for the livelyhoods of genuinely in need groups or individuals within society that truly DO need extra support of income etc AKA financial support...

And whatever the context of the argument, I do not agree entirely that autism does not exist at each the opposite extreme (whether mild or severe), because the variation in diagnosis itself already has taken this into account any extremes and so at least has defined the extremities which are believed true, I would think, in order to appreciate different held views in how particular we can afford to be (within reason) when at the same time as overall impressions, be more certain around identifying certain traits should the need arise as part of diagnosis......
So as per the aperture based around SHEER NECESSITY, NECESSARILY needing some model to characterize how to know it's severity is called upon by scientific need. WHETHER WE AGREE WITH A MODEL OR NOT fundamentally, at least it should include the above, to make it BROAD, since that befits the broad spectrum that Autism &&& Aspergers basicly underlines at base value.

Even when in some cases the model, when used to diagnoze may not provide many constants except in the most severely effected patients wherein the personal suffering is a lot more clear even without a diagnosis as far as Autism in maximum output of available signifiers may go in reasonably validating inarguable claims for diagnosis.

Besides what is underlying in Autism **& Aspergers similarly** (since agreeable to us or not BOTH are anyhow gaged on the same scale as if it were the same spectrum or lens) and as far as many can tell, including myself, by this method is explained or extrapolated (sort of) as this rounded statement now offers (still by my own words):-

Sooooo,

Characteristically...

The nature of it IS:- "It is what it is" until further improvements are made to help establish any theoretical aspects or anomalies combining potentially into more substantial data, but where that is not obvious, still does not mean Autism in some form does not exist.... Because if Autism can broadly be viewed on it's own basic merits of faculty, then there is little need for so much subjecture around it (*except for how the individual person or sufferer may choose to see fit at their own discretion or however accredited extra to a so called "normal" diagnosis*)...

Some implementable structure around it's constructs may of course be invaluable, others less so -- depending on perception and attitude we have BROADLY discussed, and conversely in counter arguement, maybe nothing more than part made up ailment in someones less inspired vision or perception to the opposite effect --OR-- where traditional diagnosis is made redundant, and the genie is once again out of the bottle as to how to get a handle on it's key characteristics (& that's fine with me btw* just as somethings are existential and yet cannot easily be tamed, it is therefore reasonable to either accept as is, OR to have need for some sort of model used for measure and insight at greater depth, but without reliability of constants arguably, all we might achieve is speculation, and we might as well liberate what we cannot know for sure if the reality sees it that way by the facts understood at any particular time or lack of),

But not wanting to relent just yet, as no haunting of anyone ignorant would be complete on this topic as a whole, lest I impose upon you something of a caveat, without enquiring out of what is it of whom soooooooo crudely manifestly ignorant, that sees nothing beyond their own perception or else ignominious government pushed opinion....either which....

And where in relation to these VERY IMPORTANT MATTERS OF H E A L T H do we hope to see positive outcomes, and likewise whom are we supposed to lean on for facts or where to be found a verifiable and fair diagnosis ==INDEPENDENT STUDY IS WHAT SHOULD CONTRIBUTE TO THIS IF NECESSARY SO THAT PRIVATE ENTERPRISES CAN BUILD KNOWLEDGE AND THEN SHARE WITH OTHER PRIVATE OR PUBLIC SERVICES offering to bring ease of diagnosis etc...
Already and probably for a good while, there are noticeable perhaps adequate(?) specialist diagnosis clinics for diagnoses of the Autism SPECTRUM (meaning broad acquisition of symptoms in broad array- hopefully of genuine testing & engagement with what is thought to be true set into context to the best of our knowledge with the individual in question helping to form a genuine picture given help from their own personal experience to add to the overall assessment on what is or what is not)....

And so whom counter common sense in among the less liberal-minded, could transcribe true articulate meaning without that sort of open dialogue, and thus failing to understand that sensitivity of need in some people viewing the subject, and instead come up with the crudest possible narrow minded perception(s) devised in over-simplicity around a narrow minded half-baked thesis (as would be much less in favor to state the obvious)... and comprised of what exactly are the opinions of ignorance based around, PREDJUDICE???...

In the end.....Surely a model of some variability (if that is what is in common practice) is better than no model at all IS MY POINT & despite whether models suit our fancy or not, they at least aim to serve a purpose......

Well, ultimately~ however thought of~ the ONE CONSTANT reliable at least IS due to the very nature of Autism related conditions of natural being (or where found adversely effected, partly unnatural modern by products of something unnatural entering our biomes)...... naturally we assume a lot these days is allowed and accepted to fall withing the fault lines, and GOOD on the ONE HAND, plus I don't speak blindly about the topic as I have some first hand experience of my own that lends some weight to the conversation, and from my side that is Aspergers, which yes is said to be the sibling almost of AUTISM, which given a name is that, like it or not. :)) and in the end we can all make up our own mind but let that be as open as you can is what I will say!
