What are everyone's daily health protocols?

A shot of spirulina in the morning, and one at night. Turmeric tablets. Vitamin D tablets, since the majority of humans have a deficiency. A spoonful of Cacao powder, raw. Eight or more glasses of water a day. Pomegranate seeds. Dates - a lot of them. A banana and blueberries pretty much every morning. A banana will replenish lost electrolytes and boost your potassium. It is also good to have a banana as soon as you wake up because it will immediately raise your blood sugar. Bringing your blood sugar up will bring your cortisol levels down, which is important for anyone who has ever experienced trauma to a serious extent.

Maca powder is another staple. I sprinkle it on food. I also eat large amounts of Spinach, Kale, Beets and Chestnuts, on a highly regular basis.

The chestnuts, Manganese, amongst other things. The Dates are high in antioxidants, amongst other things.

Having said that I just eat those because I like the taste. Those are my indulgences.

Thanks. I don't even know what manganese is or does, will have to look into it.

I have never took supplements and with getting older I am looking into vitamins, zinc etc., but always thought they were waste of time.

No, not a waste of time. But not overdosed either. Check out what foods you eat, daily requirements of vits/minerals too. Are you getting enough? If not, supplements are good to be at optimum levels. But- (yeah, I know they're expensive...) -try to get a fairly pure one, not too much crap in them.

(Weird how we have to pay more for stuff taken OUT. )

And another weird fact....TEA contains manganese. Yep, just a cuppa.

I think the basic simple things are good health protocols:

trying to get at least 6+ hours of sleep a night, preferably more.

Eating veggies and fruits if possible and if gut can take them.

Going for at least one daily walk in all weathers and seasons in fresh air, in as green a space as you can find.

Not forgetting to breathe properly.

Drinking fluids.

Making sure you poop properly. Every morning if possible.

Letting digestion rest overnight (intermiittent fasting, which allows the gut to do it's "clean sweeps" )

Cultivating a decent vibrational energy in onesself re: thoughts and emotions. Holding onto heartfelt meaningful things.

Enjoying a treat. Whether that be a few drinks or a pot of ice cream. No one can be too perfect. Enjoy!

And also curious as to whether anyone has ever tried the controversial Miracle Mineral supplement?

I met a bunch of crazy American scientists in the jungle once who swore by this stuff, although my understanding is that it's kinda like bleach so never tried myself.

Pretty much do nothing that is recommended just the things I like

Egg bacon mushrooms and a fried slice for breakfast dont usually feel hungry again until the evening when it will be some kind of meat with potatoes and veg.

A few beers of an evening and smoke as many fags as I can.🙂

First sign of a sniffle vit C vit D codliver oil and zinc seems to do the trick.

Am I super healthy ...no....am I happy yes very

Two or three fried eggs on toast (in bed) with black pepper and grated cheese EVERY morning unless I'm hung over in which case I'll have a fried egg sandwich in a boiling hot bath. Copious coffee in the morning. This is when I usually check out David's site.

Fags but only a small amount of tobacco, leaving plenty of room for herbs.

Red wine at least four times a week, sometimes in excess (always in excess according to my first wife).

Meat and two veg is standard and occasionally some fruit, but love hearty puddings.

Pretty well never been even moderately ill in my life.

And apart from being very concerned about our current situation, and in spite of all the suffering bought down on me by others, I too am happy.

I love being alive, I love our home. I just wish we could be left alone to enjoy it.

BTW WTF is Quercetin?

And Crowinthesnow's advice about not forgetting to breathe is pretty sound too.

And yes fluids are much much better to drink than solids, but how does one poop properly? Maybe I've been doing it wrong until now.
