Health Official/Government contradictions over the last year.

Please list some of the contradictions over the years made by health officials and Government. The only one that I find is Fauci flip-flopping on wearing masks/

You have a point about a new thread for this but there are already countless examples in the Covid thread. Personally, I posted recently about both Whitty (April) and javid (July) saying we should treat 'covid' like the flu. 

 

The govt clearly has no intention of treating it like 'the flu'.

It would be really nice if someone had a list of them. The COVID thread is massive so it's hard to find the examples.

 

 

My brother keeps telling me that the contradictions are rare but I feel like this isn't the case. I would like to prove it to him but can't find the examples.

These are not necessarily Government contradictions, but may be useful as ammunition about the whole Covid narrative.

Of course I could, is there a reason for it? We've been lied to since day one, and just about every announcement or government guideline has been backtracked, or proven to be false, or the opposite has happened.

I'm just wondering why a list can't be compiled, even 5-10 examples. The Moderator provided one example, but that's a single one.

 

If you were in a room full of people asking you to PROVE that there's contradictions, what examples would you share? The information is important, and much more effective when compiled rather than spread thin throughout a massive thread where the info is difficult to find.

Right, okay. These are all examples of the Government/NHS/Sage/WHO going back on original message.

 

Virus:

Classed as possible pandemic in Jan 2020. Then downgraded in Feb or March 2020, just days before UK Govt put country into 1st Lockdown.

 

Chief Medical Officer made claim in summer 2020 that CV19 was really no more than flu, and should not be treated as anything more than that and no need to over-react. Before all the predictions of doom and rising body counts.

 

Lockdowns:

Needed for 3-4 weeks only, to stop NHS being overwhelmed with new "cases". Then needed to "flatten the curve". No further lockdowns would be necessary. Except when they enacted a 2nd and then 3rd lockdown. And still threatening more now.

 

Face masks:

Recommended to stop the spread, then not recommended as an effective means of stopping anything. But made mandatory anyway a few months later.

 

Vaccine:

Hailed as our passport to freedom, and a way back to normality. Have the jab and you can go on holiday. Then, oops, no, having it won't allow you to do anything because not everyone/enough people have had it. 

 

Children:

Not at risk of the "virus", so no need to wear masks or social distance. Yet schools stayed shut. Then the campaign to start testing kids, and eventually forcing them to be jabbed even though they previously said they were not at risk. Studies showed wearing masks caused children mental issues, yet they have reintroduced them in schools anyway.

 

The list goes on. If someone wants to go and get actual links and stuff, be my guest. I haven't the time.
