Wimbledon only started three hours ago and they've had to stop two games already (and that's just the ones I've been watching). First one was a ballboy who was clearly in some distress, while someone in the crowd has just been taken out of centre court. Commentator immediately jumped in with the pre-prepared 'in a crowd this size you're always going to have these incidents'.😂

And the commentator's comments are rubbish, since, in a crowd that size they rarely have 'those' incidents, as we know from having watched before.

I think there were four mid-match retirements on the first day's play. I haven't delved any deeper, as to why, yet. One thing I can say, post-vaccination, is that I have definitely noticed an increase in players cramping on the tennis tours. Unfortunately, though, that is the easiest thing for shills to fob off as 'normal', to an uneducated Joe Public.

Wimbledon 2022...new bollocks please.

We'll have to get Hazel Irvine to replace Sue Barker. She will tell it how it is. They should get that blatant PED cheat, John McEnroe, off our TV screens as well.

I have a background in athletics and I was looking forward to watching him run.

'World Athletics Championships: Max Burgin's withdrawal caused by thrombosis.'

'I pulled out of the 800m at the World Champs with what we initially thought to be a calf strain. It has turned out to be a deep vein thrombosis in the right calf, an issue completely unrelated to running or training of any other kind.'

'A DVT is a blood clot that develops, usually in the legs, which can lead to more serious health issues if it breaks away and travels to other parts of the body.'

She says that she will 'tell her story' in due course. Who knows what 'it' might be. Something to keep an eye on at least.

It wouldn't surprise me at all, if it is the case that the vaccine worsened her condition.

It takes a special kind of stupid, to be as stupid as our Andy. It must take a lot of hard graft. Let's not forget that this is the guy, pre-Scottish 'Independence' referendum 2014, who said 'I will ask other people what they think, before deciding how to vote'. Therefore, it comes as no surprise, that he now refuses to think what his TV screen has continually told him is unthinkable. If he wised up, then he might be able to seek out some respite to his issue.

'US Open: Andy Murray unsure of cramp cause after encouraging test results.'

"I know now it is down to conditioning, hydration or food related." (NOT the vaccine then.) 😀

There won’t be an issue with vaccine side effects in sport soon. In theory everything will collapse because people won’t be able to afford tickets.

Then they'll go back to the fake crowd sound effects and advertising draped over the empty seats, with special low-angle camera shots so you never see the rest of the stands.

Both athletes had cramp at exactly the same time, and post race at least one said they'd never had it before? Then soon after I read and heard Dina calling for ...

Dina Asher-Smith calls for more period research in sport after cramping in Munich 2022

However that was not my impression at the time? It was such a 'coincidence', did you see their joint interview?

Not a Mensa candidate this one.

I think they've wanted this for years. And ultimately lower leagues finished with a European franchise style super league where fans are divorced from the actual game unless on tv.

It's scary. At a base level, I feel like laughing, but it's all so tragic I can't.

Yes, I watched it all live. As ever, anythng but the jab is to blame. If Asher-Smith was 'on' at the time, then I suppose it wasn't that daft for her to make the connection she did.

Why can't the BBC ever just tell it how it is? I think it is very disingenuous for theven em to call cramp an 'injury', without even mentioning the word cramp. In fact, on the WTA tour, not sure about the ATP tour, you are not allowed to call an injury timeout for cramp. You can just request some treatment for it, at the change of ends.

'Carlos Alcaraz advances at US Open as Sebastian Baez forced to retire with cramp.'

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/62720086

'Earlier, compatriot Carlos Alcaraz progressed after Argentine Sebastian Baez was forced to retire with injury.'
