CONFIRMED_REPTILIAN
I’ve been exhausted all day since July. It’s debilitating. I may have sleep apnea but I’ve also been panicked and anxious as a result. I imagine i need to fix both. Is there any breathwork you know of that will send you in to a very deep rest? I also can only stay out for 7 hours max and am a very light sleeper. Any ideas?
Cleo
You need to have a sleep study conducted in order to establish whether or not you have sleep apnoea. Your GP can refer you for this. I highly recommend you go down this route, as untreated apnoea can severely impact your mental and physical health. Fortunately , there is very successful treatment available to sufferers. Truthspoon
Start Zen meditation. You don't need a class, a cult or a guru....it's easy. It might take a while to fulful the aims of Zen (about 6 months) but you will notice the benefits immediately regarding sleeping and better mastery of thought and anxiety pretty much immediately. I will tell you more if you are really interested. I only say that because I make lengthy informative posts which most people seem to completely ignore. So I will only make an effort if people are actually somewhat committed to the forum which a lot of people don't seem to be particularly. Bombadil
Looking into this now as well Truthspoon. I have notoriously bad sleep because of breathing problems.
spideysensei
I get the same sometimes. Don't discount some very simple fixes like raising or adding another pillow to your bed. This in addition to things to meditation, which might not fix your issue but has a whole range of other benefits anyway.

I’m gonna go to the sleep lab in town today or tomorrow and see if they offer sleep tests. I’m 99 percent sure I’ve got apnea but i can’t get a cpap without a prescription. I can’t wait till this is all fixed

CrowintheSnow
I don't know if this will work for you but oddly, it can work for me 99% of the time. The acupressure points on the wrist. That is, an inch below the wrist-crease on the outside part of the wrist/lower forearm in between two tendons there. I lie in bed, and with the finger of my opposite hand, put a rhythmic pressure on that point, and I am not kidding you, I start to fade out in less than a minute. Drift off.... If by some odd reason it doesn't seem to work, I swap and do the other wrist, then try again. I have found that to be very effective. It will work even when I am sceptical about it. I like a pretty cold bedroom too. If the room/weather is too warm, I will have more disturbed sleep with micro-awakenings through the night. so switch off the heating. I have NEVER found that "blue light" before bed issue to have any effect at all on my sleep. Maybe I'm weird....

Hope that helps, @CONFIRMED_REPTILIAN. When you find the ones you like, put some headphones on and just lay down in a dark quiet room with these videos on. Moonlight
not all sleeping problems are stress related...some people have problems with their pineal gland ASMR is a great way to fall asleep fast and BlueWhisper is the best.....until I found out that she has some crazy stalker...but she is still the best

shabbirss
command your mind to do it. - to start the healing process in your body. - to get rid of all the crap that is negatively affecting you physically, emotionally, spiritually. - to give you restful and energising sleep. i recently did this just after getting into bed. out of the blue. i dont know what or why or how i decided to, i just did it. willed it. this is what happened... (i did not even think of quitting smoking or anything like that) woke up next morning early, fresh.... first cigarette of the day starts taste like garbage. literally. i asked my bro if he noticed anything strange about the smoke (usually stale cigarettes smell odd), he says no its all normal. - lost my appetite for cooldrinks. - losing my "appetite" for smoking - feeling more energy, more connected to everything around me. everything. the adventure continues...
