Never saw the appeal of 7 of 9. She never smiled either, she was in constant bitch face mode. Counselor Troi from TNG, Jadzia Dax (with her hair down) from DS9 and Yeoman Rand from TOS are the ones for me! Ahhh.Counselor troi there is no-one better. I met her once at a scifi event. I was heart broken when i heard her speak in that east london accent of hers. Otherwise lovely and fairly funny. Anti Facts Sir
No family hols in the 70s and early 80s was complete without a trip to the cinema for Bond (assuming that year had a 007 film). Enjoyed them all. Moonraker was a bit crap as I recall, and I don't know if I'd care to see Octopussy or View To A Kill again but one day I might watch them and see if I've changed my mind. Last one I did see on DVD was probably Die Another Day. Loved the ice palace.

I enjoyed it anyway.....not sure how it is being pegged as especially woke as it's a fantasy land with its own reality! But the central character is a world weary monster slayer who is either outright despised by the outside world or at best viewed warily by the normies who show no appreciation for his efforts to save their dumb asses.....which is a little like being a conspiracy theorist isn't it? lol

Cheers for the heads up!

wolfpavek1
Rami Malek played Freddie Mercury who died of HIV aids. after the bond movie that was held off release due to priming of theasses with the virus that is designed to kill some but not all. a hiv virus that kills some . It was completed in 2019 but wasn't due for release until 2020 due to the two year McDonald's Pepsi product placement contracts. Whereas fredie Mercury was finished in record time in 2019 and released quickly after they sacked Sacha Baron Cohen and Rami Malek took the roles. He was also Mr robot. The ending of bond suggests they kill d him off as the misogynist that will never hold or embrace someone ever again. Precovid don't touch me The queens first visit after lockdown was to porton down where they make germ chemical warfare. Was she giving us a warning In the scripted programme or did they pull bond because it was too early and gloating.

A family would create a weakness his enemies would exploit. They've changed his persona so more women will go to see the film. They don't give a shit if it pisses the life long male fans off. Guest m754
Many people do not know who Ian Fleming was..  These characters served their purpose of keeping the male population passively involved in the escapades of these fictional personas. At that point in time.  The game has moved to another level. The males are already domesticated or de-clawed. The next stage can roll in now. Hence the change in storylines.  One can wring their hands all they want, but that will not change the fact that instead of being heroes and warriors ourselves, we have all been leading petty lives of drudgery and keeping our heads down to make money, and then releasing pent up energies on weekend movies and sports events. Living vicariously through the lives of fictional characters. We brought this upon ourselves.  Edited October 7, 2021 by m754

He also bought Oswald Mosley's house. I know we shouldn't judge people in the past by today's standards, but he would probably be called a Nazi or Fascist today.  With that in mind, it makes sense why they would mess with his legacy.
