petrol stations that were open had plenty of unleaded but diesel was out.

i drive on lpg ..so far no problem,plenty of independent sellers and fortunately not many have converted to gas..long may it continue and the sheep ignore it

Absolutely insane! In fact how could anybody be allowed to pass a driving test not knowing that fuel is not to be put in plastic carrier bags?! Of course common sense should prevail (I don't drive or know hardly anything about car engines but this is obvious to me), but considering how thick people are today then safety issues should be part of the driving test. They should have to do a written examination on safe motoring and practises.

A better use of her time would be tell the children to get the bus to and from school, then she could have a cycle ride to the local shops, buy some food and cook something healthy in her kitchen.

Anyone else noticed how there is a heavy ad drive to get people to order food from take out places and restaurants and have them delivered to their homes via Deliveroo and Just Eat etc? I know some are delivered by bicycle, but mostly they are by car- hardly conducive to being "carbon neutral" and using less petrol is it? Also encourages people to keep stuffing themselves and getting obese.

Drove past Tesco petrol station no diesel and no queue for petrol

Petrol station near the end of my road (Esso) was closed yesterday but open today with a queue of 2 cars outside

which is busier than they normally are but nothing too shocking

Modern diesels - those that meet Euro6 emission standards - are fine, as I understand things. They have DPFs (diesel particulate filters) and AdBlue additives, which eliminate much of the harmful emissions.

 

Properly maintained vehicles, whether petrol or diesel powered, won't blow out clouds of smoke, only those that are poorly maintained. Using the correct spec of engine oil, as well as regular use of fuel system cleaners, should eliminate those kinds of issues.

 

It would be impossible to outright ban diesel vehicles, not while a majority of light & heavy commercial vehicles, as well as buses and coaches, all require diesel to run.

There's a Texaco filling station on the Stratford Road in Sparkbrook (Birmingham) which I pass on the bus every day to and from work. I have never seen any queue there, though I did observe a couple of their pumps were coned off this evening. Couple of vehicles there just filling up as normal, but no queues blocking the road. Certainly no sign of any 'fuel crisis' there!

Badly maintained and not driven correctly. Diesel engines are supposed to be run for long periods, not short ones. Petrol should be for cars and diesels for trucks and commercial vehicles.

Had to fill up on sunday as I was literally on fumes. the local esso was packed and took 10 min to get to the pump but all pumps where working. drove post today and big notices No Diesel or regular unleaded only premium available.  fortunately my old banger sips the petrol so im good for the next few weeks. and if all else fails i can get the old battle bus out the engine in that can run on just about anything flammable.

After the gas shortage you may be casted into darkness. Humans don't realize that at some point in our history we had to mental and physically fight the invaders. That time is now but by the invaders controlling everything people are afraid of lose. Many, (all?), such videos are fake set-ups.. They are dehumanizing and degrading us. Not that there is much left in humanity to insult or demean but these are mostly set-ups.
