I'm lucky EW...... I'm 45 and managed to get through Uni back in the 90's (which were awesome) even though it was full of Feminist crap but I was too busy managing my hangover  thinking of the fun I had just had with my girlfriend to give a fuck about it......

 

I can afford to not really give a fuck...... but young people still have to play the game at least in order to experience life and develop themselves....

 

Now society has changed and women have changed. I feel for the younger men these days........ it must be hard but at the same time...... now it's easy to be intelligent and remarkable when the whole world has become so fucking dumb.

 

And I used to think I was smart then people like Keith Woods appear who just blow me away and amaze me..... the guy has the brain of a fifty year old professor who looks like he's only just started going to pubs and he is applying his intelligence to our side. There was nothing like that when I was younger.....

I think other countries have it worse, like Germany, their immigration levels are insane and they got properly ethnically cleansed by the Russkies after WW2. I think the estimate was just in Berlin alone, something like 50% of the women were raped - so the gene pool in Germany was changed forever.......

 

I find the concept of Nationalism interesting. Not something I have given much thought to in a long while.

 

It makes sense to have groups or societies with as many commonalities especially in values and goals as possible for that group to achieve their hopes and dreams. I guess the question is where do you draw the line around the group? I guess Nationalists would say, where the borders are. I think the British borders, being an Island give it a natural border for the society. But when you look at places like Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. There has been so much meddling from the West - makes me think, nationalism as a concept in most of the places in the world, is a bit of a misnomer.

France in particular has noticeably more African and Arab migrants, at least it did when I lived there but I suspect we have probably overtaken them.

 

The thing about the French though is that most of them rightly hold French to be an ethnic identity.

 

And so immigrants were never fully assimilated and just kind of hung around menacingly in the suburbs and occasionally would come into the centre of Paris or the major cities and hang around shouting random abuse at people. 

 

I even got in a fight with a group of Arabs in a French town but a few flying kicks, one of which nearly took this guy's head off were enough to send them running. 

 

But Italy, Spain and France have still preserved their own ethnic identity. Strangely it seems the Nordic and Germanic countries, like Sweden, Germany and the UK who can't wait to abandon their culture and history and have suffered most culturally from mass-immigration.

I could have represented Eire at sport if I'd carried on with my interests and fate hadn't changed my destiny, but have I ever felt remotely irish? Not really. These "plastic" Brits know they're fakes. I'd have felt a fake if I'd been out there on the pitch in the green jersey, being a totally suburban English kid. But it's a means to an end for the sportspeople and the countries. 

 

This girl didn't flee here under persecution, and grow up in England, and think of it as her home or her primary nationality. It's where she differs from the black footballers like Sterling or Rashford or any Asian cricketer from the Midlands or whatever. They have some connection to Britain, either through being born here or spending most of their life here.

She looks an excellent player; I lost interest in tennis some years ago but the little I saw of the finale was impressive from both teenagers.

 

It's fair to call her a British resident, or even a British citizen (something you can apply for), but she is not British in the way that the media would try and spin it.
