Nemuri Kyoshiro
All those lives lost. All the blood spilled in the name of 'freedom.' All those body bags arriving home in the back of a Hercules. George Bush's war on terror has ended where it began, with the Taliban poised to regain control over Afghanistan. What was it all for? All that death and destruction. Bush needs to be arrested and dragged in front of a war crimes tribunal and Blair with him. https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/09/asia/taliban-spokesperson-us-warning-intl-hnk/index.html
Anti Facts Sir
Back to square one indeed. France, US and UK all pulled out at roughly the same time. Thought it was odd, and smacked of orchestrated agendas. And the only outcome was going to be this. Taliban resurgence.

jack121
LOVE the taliban they are fighting for their country and that is brilliant, screw the foreign invaders who bombed their own twin towers killing thousands , then used that as an excuse to invade afghanistan and build an oil pipe line to ship billions of dollars worth of oil that the yanks had purchased from russia. The war is nothing to do with osama bin laden. Nothing to do with afghanistan harbouring terrorists. All to do with making massive profits and killing millions of people. See: Number of politicians killed = zero Number of sons or daughters of politicians killed = zero Number of royals killed = zero Number of oil company executives killed = zero Number of bank executives killed = zero Number of working class killed = millions Cost of Afghan war, to be paid by the working class = £20 million / per day

jack121
The foreign powers got their arses well and truly kicked and are pulling out because they cannot justify the number of dead to the sheep anymore. In the mainstream media they criticize the taliban and point to the number of innocent civilians who have died in the foreign governments' lead conflict, failing to mention all the innocents they have killed and all the billions more they are hoping to kill with their vaccination drive and new world order. Human life has no meaning to these people. Sheep to be used and money to be made. Business as usual.
Nemuri Kyoshiro
Shades of Saigon 1975. I well remember the Americans hot-footing it out of Vietnam on helicopters that landed on the embassy roof. I went there in 2002 and the gates are still there. I imagine the Taliban will do a job on the US and British embassies in Kabul. Wonder what they'll make of the rainbow flags? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/aug/14/afghans-flee-kabul-in-panic-as-taliban-forces-close-in

jack121
The troops all supplied with american government weapons, trained by american government, funded by american government. Most countries in the world have puppets controlled by america's real government Taliban has strong grass roots support amongst the people, fighting for their country against american government oppression, funded by no one loved by everyone. They will win. Need more countries like this who put two fingers up to the nwo and fight no matter the overwhelming the odds. The entire american lead invasion of afghanistan is based on lies. The american government approached afghanistan to ask if they could build an oil pipe line through afghanistan. The afghans remembered the americans screwing them over after the russia war and refused. The americans bombed their own twin towers murdering thousands, which is well documented, and invaded afghanistan then built their oil pipe line. This war is about profit and expanding american influence.
Grumpy Owl
If anyone doesn't really understand what has been going on in Afghanistan all this time, I recommend Adam Curtis' documentary "Bitter Lake": Quote Politicians used to have the confidence to tell us stories that made sense of the chaos of world events. But now there are no big stories and politicians react randomly to every new crisis – leaving us bewildered and disorientated. Bitter Lake is an adventurous and epic film by Adam Curtis that explains why the big stories that politicians tell us have become so simplified that we can’t really see the world any longer. The narrative goes all over the world, America, Britain, Russia and Saudi Arabia – but the country at the heart of it is Afghanistan. Because Afghanistan is the place that has confronted our politicians with the terrible truth – that they cannot understand what is going on any longer. The film reveals the forces that over the past thirty years rose up and undermined the confidence of politics to understand the world. And it shows the strange, dark role that Saudi Arabia has played in this. But Bitter Lake is also experimental. Curtis has taken the unedited rushes of everything that the BBC has ever shot in Afghanistan – and used them in new and radical ways. He has tried to build a different and more emotional way of depicting what really happened in Afghanistan. A counterpoint to the thin, narrow and increasingly destructive stories told by those in power today.
oddsnsods
Curtis paints the picture Politicians are good goys & make mistakes..hes a propagandist basically. He does reveal truths in his docs no doubt....like Century of the self he mentioned how Binladens - Alquida the base was set up & funded by the CIA & Rumsfeld of course. But he is half truth & blatant BBC shill.

Mr H
Headline in the independent today saying that this set of terrorists are even worse today than before! More brutal! They don't mention the brutality of the Western forces killing hundreds of thousands, many innocents. I guess bombing is seen more civilised than head cutting - certainly gets the job done much better.
oddsnsods
Illegal invasions justified..because Taliban (so the story go's) wanted some real evidence Tim OSman was responsible for 911. Team Murica Zion world police were not amused...but planned the invasion months before & moved their troops in to the region.

Saudi bombs shit out of Yemeni's, but forget that & watch helicopters dropping chemical weapons in Syria.
Nemuri Kyoshiro
Reports now say that Kabul has fallen. After nearly 20 years of fighting, the longest war in America's history, it all ends with a whimper. Rumsfeld is dead so he won't get to see the results of his hubris but Cheney and Bush are still alive and so are Blair, Mandelson, and Campbell who were happy to hang on to America's coattails. They will live to see Afghanistan installed as a trading partner of China, whose government will pour money into deals for the extraction of rare earth minerals that are found in abundance there. Matistuta
If it's true that the plan is for China to become the new policeman of the world, perhaps this is being set up as their first foray into military intervention.

jack121
Now the yanks are sending in 5000 troops to extracte the sell outs and traitors, who they had left behind to rule over afghanistan in their name. But that did not quite work out for them. Shades of saigon indeed. I hope afghanistan rises up to become a major world power, because it has kicked the arses of the major sell out world governments, and we do need a strong anti nwo presence. Velma
I can't believe they have resurrected the Taliban again as the latest Islamic boogey-man distraction, literally overnight. It has even wiped covid from the headlines! Meanwhile in Jenin City today, the IOF murdered four Palestinian youths in a dawn raid and there is not a murmur in the media or a care in the International Community. Saleh Anmar, aged 19 years old Raed Abu Seif, aged 21 years old Nour Jarrar, aged 19 years old Amjad Husseineh, aged 20 years old. This is nothing new, but increasing exponentially, on a daily basis, as Israel has a license to kill, with impunity.
