Apartheid goes live in Qld in two days, and alarmimgly some people appear to be in favour it. Mad fucking days ahead, but i won't foget anyone in my vicinity who supports this. My mrs announced she was pregnant today, timing is awful, especially as we won't be allowed in a hospital, and will probably have to have a home birth with no medical back up if shit goes down. However it just makes me more determined and focussed to beat this bollocks. Fuck this gaff Qld, you won't break me.

The new QLD CHO is an insane piece of work. Gerrard is his name and is just as mad as Jeanette Young. Apparently, he had a brother who died from the Hong Kong flu years ago and is on a personal crusade to eradicate every virus on the planet. Yeah, a real model of reason and science NOT

This is interesting, apparently Australia may see a mass resignation crisis in the workforce. But, according to this mob completely by choice of the employees. Of course not because they are refusing the vax. Sounds like normalising to me, but I admit it would be good if true and people really were becoming more conscious;

Qld schools going back 2 weeks late after the school holidays, due to megatron apparently. In reality, they have lost a fuck load of teachers  and support staff and can't fill teaching roles. Meanwhile teachers like me sit at home unemployed. Another fucked up year for the masked up pupils.

The Health system is completely imploding in Australia at the moment and it's a large part due to the standing down of experienced nurses who declined the jab.

 

I was silly enough to get the jab, but won't be getting the booster and they've mandated the booster now, we're just waiting for the date.

 

They actually have covid positive staff working in hospitals and not just covid wards, because they won't have the unjabbed working. The unjabbed pose no threat - there's rat testing, full ppe, stay away if you have symptoms etc - they pose zero threat. People keep saying to me, would you want an unvaccinated person looking after a sick parent? I ask them, do they want no one looking after a sick parent?

 

I've literally been working 15 hour days everyday recently because there's no staff...whether they've been stood down or have covid or just quit.

 

I can't even begin to exaggerate what a crisis hospitals are in at the moment...some days 50% of the staff are not turning up.

Sorry to hear of your experiences @Athenry04and @Observed. I got formally 'stood down' today by HR and my Team Leader by Microsoft Teams. I was at least able to tell them a lot of home truths as they did so and told them they are on the wrong side of history as well as a number of other truth bombs. 

 

We must now be the warriors we came here to be.
