Had a weird 'flu like' illness this week.

Very weird! especially the 'no cough no snots' part, spoken to others on other sites who had similar thing in the last coupleof weeks. Never had anything like that before and hadn't been near any other people in close proximity. 

Ideas? 

Anyone here had similar? 

 

Probably just your body running a routine cleansing operation. If so, let it run and you'll probably feel a million times better once the process is complete.

Well, as well as being a butt of their jokes some people did ask genuine questions of me so it was a fairly good experience in the end (with my 2nd account).

The thread has now been deleted though with the message:

That is very interesting,  makes me wonder who owns/runs it ?

What shocks me is the amount of them saying things like.. " I'm double jabbed and caught covid."

 

So much for this 'jab' then!

 

By next march we will read..? "I am quadruple-jabbed and still caught covid"

I'll second that. I'm type O -ve, spent a few hour boxing training with a nephew who then apparently turned out to have C19. I didn't even develop a sniffle, though I always bare in mind the fakeness of PCR tests.

There was a bit of Sport baiting mumsnet a few years back, i think it started on the housepricecrash.co.uk site. More recently at the start of the scamdemic , to test the water on opinions, I mentioned organising COVID chickenpox parties for my kids and they all went mental.

I remember in 2008 I had the worst flu of my adult life, couldn't even walk kind of thing felt like i was dying etc....

If that had been the following year maybe I would have thought I had swine flu and maybe doctors would have as well. Maybe I would have phoned the surgery up instead of staying in bed for a few weeks drinking plenty of fluids and sweating it out.

 

I'm not saying there isn't something going around though, I don't know.

Actually if it was it proves that covid is no big deal, I didn't get vaccine for obvious reasons and still fought it off and now I have lovely natural antibodies which are nonspecific unlike the vaccinated's ones.
