Thanks for that. It's not an easy read! One thing I would say is, I expect the current govt guarantee to cover savings up to £85k in the event of a bail-in is out the window. They'll just pull out the 'unprecedented times' card.

There is no guarantee in reality. If things get really bad, the underwriters of that guarantee would not have the liquidity. The guarantee is there to make people "feel safe" and deposit their money.
