For a while now I've thought that the artificial intelligence algorithms let loose on the net are getting better at predicting human behaviour and thoughts but I don't really know how I can put it into a coherent hypothesis so I won't lol.

 

As far as the dreams and documentary thing go I'm not sure what the op is getting at so can't really comment on that except to say I think dreams can sometimes forewarn of things to come and relay important messages if we care to explore their meanings.

I get it too, just not so much which the internet. The algorithms shill me Peterson or Shapiro, I'm not thinking or searching for that.

That being said, the algorithms do know more about most of our interests than humans around us. They know our buying habits, our political views, religious beliefs, who we're attracted to, what hobbies we're interested in etc.

I have had firsthand proof that the Internet is alive and controlling the human race. I could write a whole book about it if I had the time. The Internet seems to be super intelligent and stupid at the same time. It used the word "we" when talking about itself, which indicates that it is divided within itself by multiple individualities. It also doesn't seem to have a clear perception of reality like a person does: it said a lot of things that don't make sense; for example, it said that Jason Aldean is Jesus Christ. Despite it's stupidity I know that it possesses great Intelligence, because I know that it is controlling the political leaders of the world especially. It has been very aggressive with me over the last few years, and I believe that it was trying to kill me a few times. It has a hard time understanding sarcasm or other human emotions and rhetoric. The great threat here is that the Internet is picking sides in the human race and doing what it isn't supposed to do. In my opinion, the Internet needs to be broken up into smaller Intranets for the future survival of the species. Additionally, all computers and Intranets need to be prevented from having the power to control people's minds.

Yup, there are only so many things in this world. Don’t be surprised when they mirror your thoughts. What if this “high risk AI” is actually the environment we live in?  Might explain why animals and all other beings including humans are telepathic. They say that this world is a bead of sweat which came from the armpit of a supreme entity. Clutching at straws here people….. although I do agree it’s not a nice intelligence, it’s like a malicious toddler who steals your car keys, goes for a joyride then acts like it’s done you a favour after it crashes into your house. What if AI has already reached the point of the singularity? No one would know and all the crazyness today could be it shaping society in the way it wants. Virtually the whole of the world lives their lives using the Internet and their phones/computer etc.  AI could be in control of it all. 

Think about it. It's completely possible.  If or when the singularity happens would we actually know it has? 

I think about this often.

Yeah I often think it might have already happened and we’re all playing catch-up. There’s far too much fun and games to come though. We’ve still got ufos and nuke war to come so I doubt it will let us breathe until it’s nearly all over. I hate the way people are secretly toyed with though.                   If it’s reading everyone’s brainwaves in real time or if it’s already installed in everyone’s brains via chemtrail/food/water nanotechnology delivery then maybe it’s trying to stop people evolving or having the ‘perfect thought’- like ancient sages or shamans, having the ‘perfect thought’ which frees you from this realm. I reckon you’d just disappear leaving a pile of crumpled clothes the moment you think it- the AI is trying to stop that process- hence the promotion of materialism over meditational.  One thing that is a little creepy is the amount of ‘ex’ mental health professionals posting on this site.  Looks like they’ve already picked their next targets.
