The Sunday Mail reports some 400 private jets are due to disgorge their cargo of world leaders and business executives for the event. In doing so, they will dump thousands of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. They can take my Mustang from me when they pry it from my cold, dead hands! - King Kitty I can't drive, am not interested in driving as I approach 60, and have little to no knowledge about or interest in cars. However, the Mustang caught my eye as a child and I've liked them ever since. From the models of the 60's to the present GT line, there's just something about that car that I like. If I did ever change my mind about driving and came into some money, I'd buy a Mustang.

Velma
The Queen said she takes "great pride" in how her "dear late husband" Prince Philip promoted environmental issues. In her address, the Queen recalled how the "impact of the environment on human progress was a subject close to the heart" of the Duke of Edinburgh. The Queen said: "It is a source of great pride to me that the leading role my husband played in encouraging people to protect our fragile planet, lives on through the work of our eldest son Charles and his eldest son William. "I could not be more proud of them. Hypocracy knows no bounds for Royalty. And why is Kate Middleton always hysterical? Velma
George Soros has spoken (through Greta Thunberg) declaring COP26 a "failure" and more blah, blah, blah... What we need now, is to "fundamentally change our society" she said to the bleating sheep, bah, bah, bah. What, something like a Great Reset? What we need now, is to "fundamentally change our society" she said to the bleating sheep, bah, bah, bah. What, something like a Great Reset? To a degree, I would agree, this COP26 summit is a sort of failure, and it is just politicians and elected leaders making vague promises and "committing funding" without making any kind of meaningful plan of action. I do think it is the climate activist 'extremists' that are most dangerous though, and equally they have their own desires and agendas to push, but do not have any kind of concrete 'action plan' either, and just offer more 'vagaries'. "We demand that governments take action" - its just empty demands if you don't lay forth what it is you demand these governments do. Either way, its "all talk and no action" from both sides of the argument. And its all 'Hegelian dialectic', playing both sides to then offer a 'third way'. Grumpy Owl
22 hours ago, SimonTV said: There was a similar image showing before/after pictures of Carbis Bay in Cornwall when they had their summit there earlier this year. Sea levels only rise minutely. When water freezes and becomes ice, it expands in volume. The assumption always made is that if the water that is frozen as ice at the poles melts, it will add to the volume of water in the oceans. But it actually doesn't. This is easily demonstrated by taking a lump of ice from your freezer, and then thawing it out. Frozen ice packs and icebergs have a large volume, but as they melt their volume decreases. If anything, if all the glaciers, ice packs and icebergs melted around the poles melted, sea levels might actually drop due to reduced mass. But then equally, the more 'liquid water' there is on the surface, the more that will evaporate and form clouds within the atmosphere. Which then falls as rain. A never-ending cycle, nature always finds a way to balance things out.

Doc
See a lot of shite in the Guardian about the lack of Artic sea ice at the moment. They have a little ticker going very similar to the one they use for daily Covid numbers. It's interesting to read what the Guardian are reporting against the reality of the situation as reported on the 'Snow and Ice' thread on the Netweather forum. Seems there is more snow and ice coverage this year compared to last! Here is a link to the thread, you don't need an account to view it. https://www.netweather.tv/forum/topic/95989-snow-ice-coverage-in-the-northern-hemisphere-winter-202122/page/7/ Edited November 7, 2021 by Doc

HereComesBod
It's just Unreal watching them all at Collection Of Pricks 26 Obama Spouting a load of rubbish as well No Mention of Prince Andrew On Climate Agenda Surely The time to have been talking about Plastic would of been years ago before we had all the plastic, it's like they have created a problem to now try and solve it by reducing something they didn't need to produce, Then they can use that as another angle of Climate Change and as we seeing now Microplastic could cause Immune System issues because we take in 2000 - 7000 particles a day and this will be used to explain Vaccine Indury/deaths as another part of Climate Emergency
