What does this hand gesture mean?

I’m sure we have all seen it many times, Angela merkel was in a rush to do it recently, and seems to love doing it. I can’t find what the meaning of this hand gesture is though, I assume Freemason, does anyone know?

Yeah we've seen this a lot. To put another spin on it, I work in TV and there's a big thing among Journo's about what they do with their hands, no one wants to over gesture and waive their arms about but also you don't want to be stiff with no natural gestures. So when I see these images I partly think that they don't know what to do with their hands. Perhaps Merkel has adopted this position whenever she's in front of the camera as it feels good and looks natural in her mind.

 

Anyway, they make the Diamond shape to allude to the Pyramid which symbolizes 'wealth, success and power' according to internet.

I do it sometimes but I'm not Illuminati. I'm not saying its not a deliberate gesture just that people on camera sometimes find it awkward, even professionals, and may adopt postures to put themselves at ease.

Hi Seeker,

 

Yes, seen it many times, even politicians in my country do it. Why, I don't know. 

 

But, I think I do know what it is. It is a Mudra, and it is one of the basic 5 Mudra's.

 

It is not something sinister or evil, it is the opposite of it. Mudra's are used for meditation and energy work, thus they are a spiritual thing.

 

This Mudra is used for balancing energies, and increasing a flow of energy. It also has an effect on Kundalini and Bindu, Nadi's and Chakras.

 

If you were to just sit everyday for 45 minutes (don't do it longer than that), while holding this Mudra in your lap in front of the Dan tien (Dantian), I'm sure you would notice effect in couple of weeks.

 

There are many Mudra's, 5 basic ones are for general spiritual growth and well-being, while "lesser" ones have a specific purposes.

 

Again, I have no idea why are they doing it, but I hope I helped a bit.

Thanks for pointing that out, I googled Mudra and found they are similar hand gestures to ones I read up on in Ninjutsu when I was into martial arts.

It was to help concentration and focus, they were used as part of meditation, it helped the Chi flow.

Hi there, thanks for the reply and sorry for my late response.

 

I couldn't find the 5 basic mudras online, but like pi3141 I also used to practice ninjitsu, and used to do the hand signs especially when I felt that I was in danger. (examples: driving into a traffic police stop very high and some Mary Jane in my pocket, or sitting being grilled by a distinct attorney who seems to have been bought by my enemy) It is basically to charge oneself with special energy, although some believe it has to do with demonic summoning. To me it was also a form of hand yoga that felt good to be honest. Here are some examples from the book that I used as a reference for the hand signs specifically ..

Thank you for this info brother. I will have to look at this a bit more, I find it really interesting. I have no doubt that this works, as I have had experience with Mudra's before.

You know, I have noticed that "those" people like to take positive symbols and reverse them. Not sure if they are just mocking us like that, or more likely, they have a sinister purpose behing it. I know from practising Reiki that reversal of symbols can change their purpose.

It's not an illuminati sign per se.

The purpose is to close your circuit so if you are feeling rather threatened etc.

Also a hand gesture of a pyramid is a powerful one....as in pyramid. Again, the purpose is to ward off negativity and to make things smoother for yourself.

What Jay-Z does is not because he solutes to the illuminati (though he might) but I think it is to manifest something whatever on his mind....money/big deals probably. lol

This symbol, well a very similar one, is in Reiki called a Solar Symbol. It can be used on Shinpiden level to increase energy flow and to "cover a bigger area with energy", so to speak.

There is nothing wrong with any shape or geometric design, it is just the intention behind it. The symbols convey meanings and messages, and those are what count. Aaaah just saw this now.. Beautful thanks :) the nerve centers in the hands are known to be linked to all the major organs and the entire body. So stretching and exercising the hand has a great effect on the body and energy of course. I miss doing those and now I feel inspired to start doing them again. Thanks.

Ah that's interesting. I think I might have heard about it. You should do this with sun gazing, obviously not looking at it directly but at a sunset....away from the direct sun rays.

So you can absorb the energy and light (knowledge) of the Sun. I just checked on Shinpiden...so that's exactly what it is.

PS - Gareth was saying, staying awake at Delta wave..... isn't this why the practise of lucid dreaming/astral travel becomes important here? That is to me, waking/conscious while you sleep. Basically the article is saying, most people are awake doing shopping, jogging, working etc...but their mind is put to sleep in delta wave. Then if you programme your subconscious mind to stay alert and awake....job done? What will happen is that your conscious mind is not really thinking but subconscious mind will tell you....there is a danger or you need to do this....like your personal guide. It's almost like having two minds.

The Native American Indians used to say - 'it matters what thoughts you hold in your head' in other words it matters what thoughts you entertain in your mind, it affects you and the universe. I think they were right. If a person lives in a state of fear and passes over in that state I think it affects what happens to them and where they go afterwards.

 

I've had depression and I can tell you when your negative all the time its not a good thing, good things don't just happen, but when your happy and in tune with the universe, life seems effortless and good things do happen.

 

So yes, it matters how we are influenced and what thoughts we hold in our mind, the magicians know this. The power may seem subtle to us, almost ineffectual but the secret is, it isn't. We are powerful spiritual beings, we're just a bit asleep at the moment.
