nope, that is how you give your power away

to go back to my example of mcdonalds (but the same is true of any of the trans-national corporations): everytime you buy their product you don't just give them the money to buy more stores and spread more of their corporate products you also give them the money to lobby (ie bribe) whoever you voted for at the ballot box

Political parties CHOOSE who they put forward for government positions and therefore the system will always get its people into government and those people represent the interests of the corporations and usually end up working for them when they leave politics or they get rewarded with large payments on the after dinner speaking circuit where they speak to corporate types

government and the corporations are in cahoots

You take your power back by operating outside of those two things yourself and by supporting those people/groups that are also operating outside of government and the corporations

I'm sorry Mac but you seemed to have missed the point I was making, I do agree you could effect change with where your money goes , however the point I made and the point you made makes no difference to the actual situation. Unfortunately the reality is if you put a dozen people in a room they can't even work out what they want for breakfast let a lone a nation of people getting together to effect positive change

ok i get ya

but the people behind the corporations are happy with a system where a small group of people can form a government in a room and decide things for a whole nation because they know all they have to do is control that small group of people and then they control the entire nation

i will raise one downside with the boycott idea which has been made by james evan pilato which is that he has boycotted raytheon all of his life and yet they keep getting tons of business!

So we have that even when we with hold money from corporations the corrupt government will take our money in taxes and then give it to chosen corporations

so its not all completely simply but effectively we need to start depriving the beast of our money and instead feeding something new and better which is ours and not theirs

and that was my point in the original post, if there was no small group of people to control (no one elected) the corporations are now swinging in the breeze so to speak. Unfortunately as I said in my last post that will never happen for the reasons I stated.

The practicality of voting with your money sounds good and might make the individual feel like they're are doing something and therefore increase the own self esteem, but unfortunately will have no effect.

The reality of the situation is if we are dealing with multi national companies worth billions and billions of dollars your buggered using that strategy , using your example I haven't been to Macca's or KFC for over 30 years ,but the fuckers are still here, a prime example, in our town woolies super market  moved in, no one wanted it ,protests police the whole works and jerks ,the shop was built no one went the company said they were prepared to run at a loss for the next 8 years , during that time more people moved into the area and started to patronize the store now the car park is always full.  So I would have to ask the question how many people would have to boycott and organization and for how long to have any real impact, because all your offering to companies that big is a tax incentive.

In my last post when I agreed you can effect change with your dollars ,I should have qualified that with small to medium national companies

It's like mark passio says karma works in the aggregate which means that we all end up living in the world that we collectively create

The elites know this which is why they invest BILLIONS in public relations, the education system and propaganda. They know that the actions, spending and behaviours of the masses is what shapes the economy and society

Who controls the herd shapes reality

This is why we keep losing....because even those who say they are 'awake' still won't be ruthless enough with themselves to make the necessary changes to reject the beast system and create and support an alternative. Everyone makes excuses and rationalises why they aren't going to make any changes. Instead they keep pinning their hopes on someone else coming to save them and it NEVER HAPPENS

WHO CONTROLS THE HERD CONTROLS REALITY and the herds consciousness is not elevated enough to make the correct ethical and moral choices required to actually re-sculpt our reality into something new

What shapes our world?

Your spending patterns shape this world

If you eat at mcdonalds then mcdonalds makes more profits and it then uses those profits to open more stores in more cities and towns across the world. Your money helps them grow

But mcdonalds products are not nutritious. They are not food they are junk which draws people in with addictive flavourings. So by spending your money there you are helping to fill the world up with non-nutritious junk that is pretending to be food; this means that your spending is a vote for a world full of junk and devoid of good things

If you want to defeat the beast system then you have to stop giving it your money. STOP FEEDING THE BEAST. The answer is so simple but no one wants to hear it. Just stop eating mcdonalds

This principle can be applied to every aspect of your life. If you don't want the corporatocracy spying on you then don't use their social media like facebook, don't use their email services like gmail, stop doing online searches with google, stop using smart phones and apps and don't have smart devices or bugging devices like ALEXA in your house

the answer is: taking PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for your own actions in the day to day. The question is: can you do it? Are you committed to freedom or do you want to be an unhealthy, comforted, plugged-in and surveilled slave?

Nestlé Wants You to Think It’s a ‘Health and Wellness’ Company — But 70% of Its Products Are Junk Food

As Nestlé seeks to become a global leader in food allergy treatments and personalized vitamins, the world’s largest food company hasn’t really changed — 70% of its products are junk food.

By Dr. Joseph Mercola

Story at-a-glance:

  • Nestlé’s former chief executive called it a “nutrition, health and wellness company.” Yet as the company seeks to be a global leader in food allergy treatments and looks forward to launching a personalized line of vitamins, 70% of their products are junk food.
  • The food industry has a history of confusing consumers, using strong PR campaigns that call “processed food” a misunderstood term, hiding behind the science propaganda of the ILSI and using illegal tactics to achieve their goals.
  • After a boycott and bad press caused the Grocery Manufacturers Association to lose membership, they regained standing in the industry by simply changing their name to Consumer Brands Association in 2020.
  • No matter how much renovating, reconfiguring or reprogramming manufacturers do to junk food ingredients or processing, the products will never be a healthy alternative food source. They are large contributors to obesity, Type 2 diabetes and heart disease and may increase the risk of bone fractures.

In recent decades, the food system has dramatically changed, which in turn has impacted food safety and human health. Company documents from Nestlé, one of the largest food manufacturers, reveal 70% of its products are junk foods. Vegetable oils and changes in how cereals, salads and meats are grown have dramatically altered the overall safety and nutrition of most people’s diets.

Americans spend 57.9% of their food budget on ultra-processed foods, like those produced by Nestlé. This means more than half of what the average person in America eats are foods that can be purchased in a local gas station or convenience store.
