It doesn't take much to 'artificially' create the 'perception of shortages'. It just takes something to 'go viral', and people start panic buying. If the shop staff can't restock the shelves fast enough, it does look like some shelves are 'empty' or low on stock. Take a few pictures and share them on Twitter or Instagram 'OMG SHORTAGES!' and it just expands from there.

 

Remember what happened with toilet paper last year? Another manufactured contrivance, yet people fell for it, the social media 'viral video' propaganda made them believe there was a 'shortage' of toilet rolls, so like sheep they just went out and grabbed every roll in the shop they could fit in their trolley.

 

There was never any actual shortage (not in my local shops anyway) but stupid guillible shoppers were emptying the shelves faster than they could be restocked. And because 'demand' had been artificially increased, supermarkets were selling more stock than they usually ordered in. Those big multipacks of bog roll take up a lot of space on a supermarket shelf too.

 

In my opinion, there is plenty of food and produce to go round - for now anyway - and in fact it is the people who panic-buy and selfishly grab all they can off the shelves that create the apparent shortages. I dread to think just how much food gets wasted when people buy more than they need and it ends up getting thrown away because its gone past its 'best before' date.

You are right Grumpy Owl. I went to my local Lidl and Tesco  about 3 hours ago and they were fully stocked. Tesco even had plenty of small bags of those little potatoes in the reduced section for 40p each, so I got two bags! There were retail workers filling up the fruit section and other sections as well. Plenty of dunny rolls on the shelves too!

 

As an aside if there were any shortages and the government had to do some rationing for a few weeks, we'd all hardly starve. People had much less in world war two, and the rationing went on until the early 1950s. People managed!

 

And there's plenty of chubby people about these days who might benefit from eating less.

I don't think it's a bad idea to stock up to be fair. Don't have to go mad and spend loads of money. Pick up a few extra tins here and there. Remember to rotate it. Worst comes to worse you save money if/when prices go up. 

 

Get a couple of portable analogue radios, along with a wind up, a torch and something you could use as a weapon. Legal. 

 

Learn about the food sources around you, what grows etc. I've discovered a cave system near me so I'm hiding down there if the mass coronal enjection starts.

I don't disagree with your statement. Tinned food lasts forever, despite what the 'best before' date might say. My mum, one time when clearing out a cupboard in her kitchen, found a 30 year old tin of baked beans. Perfectly edible.

 

What I shake my head at are people who panic-buy and think they need to stock up on fresh produce - the kinds of idiots who buy four loaves of bread at the shop, "because thats all thats left!!!", and the last three packs of bacon because "OMG!! SHORTAGES!!", and then end up throwing them away a few days later because they've gone bad.

Yeah i agree they are crazy. A lot of that is normie behaviour and a lot f it as others have stated is a pre planned "shortage" the msm will pump out. 

 

The prepper types in america will just end up getting robbed a lot of them are really narcissistic about it. And the normies who scoff and laugh at them, will be rushing to their gaff to rob them.

Australia seems to be the testing ground where they are trying out their satanic measures first and it is all over the place there. However, only 3% uptake of the vaccination by the people - that is something to be proud of. Hopefully force of numbers can bulldoze right through this thing.

The supermarkets are short on stock and that's a fact. Plus the prices of many food items are rising. A mate of mine who is a lorry driver tells me that many of the Eastern European drivers have not returned to the UK for various reasons. Anyone who drives the motorways regularly will know that instead of every third lorry being registered in Eastern Europe, there are very few now. Maybe they are making more money delivering Covid-related materials in their own countries.

The pasta stock level was dropping rapidly in my local shop last week, but I try not to go too often as I hate it now its too depressing. 

Went for a walk yesterday,  there are fields full of ripe wheat here now . We have the capability in England to grow more of our own food, but it's all swallowed up by big business. 

If I wanted some of that what to grind and cook I have to go through so many layers of hassle to get it.

 

How much of this food shortage is scaremongering?  One says this, another says it's nothing.

Story on the news the other day about the shortage of lorry drivers. 
however we have heard this food shortages story many times since the start of the ‘pandemic’ and it’s not really happened. 
 

People have become soft, if a particular brand of gluten free sour dough vegan pasta isn’t in stock there is a ‘shortage’.

I think that supermarkets will reduce the ranges of certain products on offer so that the more popular items are always on the shelves. Drop the small 1 pint skimmed milk and fill the space with 2 pint semi or skimmed etc.

If the driver shortage is true then instead of getting 10 deliveries a day they may only get 7. But at least those 7 have essential items that most people will use/buy.

 

I mean, in my Tesco the bread isle is massive. There must be about 50 types of bread you can buy.

Now the covid restrictions are being lifted next week there'll be plenty of unemployed young blokes who can go and work as delivery drivers, and in warehouses etc.

Where to break in to.

They will have all the good stuff in warehouses, but where are these warehouses?

Just as in ww1 and ww2 there was food, but the government sneaked it all into warehouses and let it rot to starve the people and increases the culling success. The food is going to be stashed away but where. Most warehouses in my area tend to be on the outskirts.

My husband works for one of the largest supermarket chains in the country. He and his colleagues have certainly noticed the difference. Where lorries were previously coming in full of pallets, they are now often turning up with only 4 and night shift who unpack are left twiddling their thumbs. The majority of people are being far too short sighted and blasé about the supply chain and food production. Their choice I guess.

I've talked about this before but to some degree this will also be the fault of the software systems that run the logistics chain. We will see this more and more as the alleged 4th Industrial revolution and the AI miracle fail miserably to fulfil any of their promises for a technocratic utopia.

 

The reality is that feeble human brains will try to weave ever more complex computer code to try to maintain the bullshit lie of being artificially intelligent and said code will get worse and worse and the logistics chain will frequently collapse as a result.

 

Did we really think that we could stock our supermarket shelves with produce from all over the world with a just in time logistics chain so fearsomely complex that it would work perfectly all of the time?

 

Rather than 'fess up to this mess, the dark overlords will spin narratives like "driver shortages", "food shortages" to explain the mess.
