With BJ and hand cock enforcing laws on social distancing, testing and vaccination, more and more drivers and workers are seeking other forms of employment as they are facing problem after problem: IE being forced to self isolate with continuous positive test results that keep mysteriously appearing, then nick cock in hand refuses 99% of the claims for payment which many organisations are complaining about. This has really hit the smaller shops, as the larger more masonic businesses have warehouse reserves to dip into. It is an all out war against the working class. Shane Brennan, the chief executive of the Cold Chain Federation: This does feel very different to the past crises we’ve been through. With many foreign workers having returned home during the pandemic and Britain’s exit from the EU discouraging new arrivals, competition for domestic labour has become intense, and many employers are unable to fill posts. It’s going to be a rolling problem – there will be outages day by day. The supply chain is breaking down." The British Meat Processors Association said this week that it was “heading for a brick wall” on labour shortages. It said production capacity was down 10% because people and skills were unavailable in the UK. Nick Allen, the chief executive, said: “Our problems started with Brexit and Covid has made them worse. And the pubs and hotels opening up has increased the demand on labour. The whole food industry is really struggling at the moment.” It seems covid is the problem here and nick cock in hand's best friend waved more carrots before the donkeys, Sturgeon said she was “confident” that “vaccines are the only way back to normality”. Details on what life would look like “beyond level 0” are set to be published next week. “Quite literally every single one of us who gets these jabs is representing a step back towards normal life, this is the key to getting your life back by trusting in the govenment. Please take your safe and tested jab , as a service to your family and friends, as well.” Sturgeon has since appeared to pay closer attention to deaths and hospitalisations as the vaccination program is a " huge success " Businesses and opposition have battered guidance as contradictory and inconsistent, with people severely pissed at the thousands of football fans being allowed to gather in Glasgow’s fanzone while parents cannot attend outdoor nursery graduations without being swooped on by nazi police. In other news piers corbyn has started a protest on the London by ripping down all covid posters, he was heard to say: “They didn’t keep their distance at the G7 did they? The whole thing is b*lls**t and lies. Boris lied to us, and we are taking these things down ourselves. They can all just fuck off.” Also, all round weirdo Sacha Dench is being praised by the cabal as she sets to fly a 3,000 mile long trip around britain in an adapted electric paramotor to advertise the benefits of vaccination and tackling climate change. She has been congratulated by bill gates, Greta Thunberg, Simone Rossi, EDF UK chief executive, who have all kindly chipped in money to help with expenses. Dench said: " If Britain is going to host the global conference on climate change then it’s the best time for the whole country to rally behind big actions, big bold actions from the brave and selfless politicians. I’m feeling excited, feeling a bit nervous, I’m feeling excited about it, I’m really interested to see how the country responds and I’m most fascinated to hear the stories of people all around the country. Although it has not all been plain sailing, my craft was vandalized a few weeks ago and people threw bricks trying to knock me out of the sky. I hope it does not happen again." Dench also hopes that she will set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest, and first, flight around Britain in a paramotor, as well as the first long-distance expedition attempted with an electric paramotor which should bring a lot of publicity with it. With vaccination uptake at an a time low due to the constant injuries and deaths, which strangely never gets mentioned in the mainstream media, russia has taken new steps which are going to be copied over the world if successfull. Anyone taking the jab of certain death with be entered in a prize draw. There are several running at the same time, giving participants a chance to win a new car, an apartment, and even spending money for a month. Impartial observers were heard to wonder how dead people are going to spend all that lovely lolly. Which i am sure is a minor obstacle as far as the russian nazi government is concerned. Russians have a fear of untested medical products as their reason for refusing the vaccination – not helped by a general distrust of authorities and negative reports about the death rate from foreign-made vaccines The nazi's rejected the idea that distrust was pervasive, blaming the surge on the low vaccination level, the virus’s mutations, and “total nihilism”. Moscow which strangely claimed more than 9,000 new cases on Friday, over half the national total – has had to reintroduce curbs that had been scrapped, including ordering bars and restaurants to shut by 11 p.m. It has also taken the dramatic step of making vaccination mandatory for a range of people in public-facing jobs – from hairdressers and taxi drivers to bank tellers and teachers. Several regions have followed Moscow’s lead and made vaccination compulsory for workers in certain sectors, but most are using a mix of tactics to get the numbers up and now face heavy court action and legal complaints. Regions fear they may go bankrupt from the millions of complaints and have begged the nazi's for help as it was all their idea in the first place. Grumpy Owl
Its pure propaganda. The millions of unemployed in the UK could be filling these jobs, however most of them are still terrified of leaving their homes or being around other people. Its about cementing the narrative that we 'need more migration', and that we should be opening the borders to let all and sundry in. Its about softening people up to the notion that we "must rejoin the EU" and that will somehow solve all our problems.
eddy64
probably get the army in to drive the food trucks, don't think there would be enough unemployed with hgv and the other necessary paperwork to drive them imho. could also be an opportunity to push through legislation for self driving hgv's, don't think that idea is too popular with the public. https://news.sky.com/story/tesco-admits-exposure-to-hgv-driver-shortage-as-hauliers-warn-of-supply-crisis-12335508
wideawake
... but, but the rumor has it that there will be a shortage of steel world wide and prices have already doubled and some regular stock are now unavailable. Same thing happened to wood and even flowers, go figure. It's all propaganda to raise prices thus taking advantage of "a crisis". There won't be a shortage of food, just we will have to pay quite a bit more for products based on "shortage".
eddy64
well if there's a possibility of shortages, having some canned food is a good idea if you've the spare cash to buy it imho.

Did all that some time back (mainly influenced by this forum) but do accept that having a month's food for six always stocked (using back to front rotation) is probably just going to feed thieves when the shit hits the fan. I've also took an interest in medicinal plants, where to find them, when to look for them, how to prepare them etc. I don't think there will be any NHS when the worst comes and I could see traditional doctors surgeries becoming defunct (which they already largely are). I'm not one to hold onto my life but I do have a responsibility towards providing for my young family as best I can. For now, that means learning how to forage - though I'm set also on the idea of being separated from my family when the vaccine/s become compulsory. We are being pressed on all sides (physically, emotionally, spiritually) and will one day - sooner than we may think - not be able to encourage and build each other up on this forum and other places like it. I get all my foraging/natural medicine information off YouTube. There are some good, uncensored patches of life still left on that shitshow of a platform. I've found that going for long walks around my city's many parks and wooded areas, the sides of country roads, even dual carriageways, whilst looking for certain kinds of plants, taking photos for identification purposes, helps to keep me not only fit - but sane. I found some Papaver somniferum (Hungarian Blue variety) growing under a bridge ten days ago and (all in the last week) learnt how to prepare poppy pod tea. I did an allergy test and used a titration method to determine the strength. I am drying 100 pods and know that from this batch, just two to three would obliterate acute pain for 8 to 12 hours. I shall be going back next week (when the crowns are upturned) to grab another 30 or so, then leaving the rest to seed for next June. Naturally growing plants with antibiotic properties, plants for stomach ailments (where many of our illnesses originate), plants for sound sleep, allergies - everything we need is growing all over. It's fast becoming a hobby.

Yeah I got into watching prepper vids in 2019 - American ones mainly which seemed quite alarmist and paranoid, but given what's happening, they probably had a point. Picking up a few tins with every shop to store away is quite cheap, and as you say things like rice, pasta, flour, seeds, nuts etc which will last a long time stored. Plus plenty of herbs, spices, salt to liven up the tinned food if it comes down to it. Also been looking into foraging - the humble nettle and dandelion are incredibly beneficial (especailly in late spring/early summer) and boosts the immune system, as well as dealing with inflammation which is also the cause of most diseases. Thousands of plants growing all around us can help most ailments. Ofcourse the government won't tell you things like this, so desperate are they to destroy our immune systems and make us dependent on big pharma. Not saying foraging is easy. It's hard work and you really have to know your stuff, but nature provides every prevention and cure for our health. I think people looking into this kind of thing will be the healthiest of all, the survivors. They should be teaching children this kind of thing as a matter of course. Good for our spiritual wellbeing too. Maybe it will really catch on when people wake up to whats going on. It's all free too. jack121
It's okay for the americans with their right to bear arms and all that, they could possibly take care of their home and family a lot better than us. I do believe the food supply will get shut off with the EU okaying the consumption of rats inscets and cockroaches as a food source, while the elite will no doubt dine on champagne and caviar and laugh their power hungry heads. With the predicted assault on people's homes and rioting on the streets, food and fear are certainly going to be a form of control at reshaping the world for the coming of the anti-christ. Damn you israel.

serpentine
Home gardening is a lifestyle for many. Other forms of high tech home growing are appearing but the important thing to remember is to not directly compare THE US and UK as like with like when it comes to agricultural output and methods. jack121
Right. But farms have been forcibly closed, land plouged up destroying all the crops, entire livestock slaughtered by the government stating: Your farm has been infected with coronavirus, you must shut down. Farms are being refused the right to live. How long before we are similarly refused the right to grow food on our land, refused to keep animals. Restirction after restriction. Incontinentia_Buttux
Where are you getting this information from? I work in the food industry can can tell you for a fact that there is no shortage of food in the UK. Some food manufacturers are only producing at half capacity because DEMAND from supermarkets is so LOW... it's not the other way around! Not by a long way. @Wideawake2was telling me about a local group looking for woke people to chip in to buy a piece of land so they can be self sufficient with food and some other necessities. I don't know much as it is at a very early planning stage but in order to fight this war, people will have to support each other to survive and be trustworthy. If it's to get that ugly (which it will), going to hide in the woods alone will not cut it. We will need all the help we can get to at least get a crack at winning. It's too bad that not too many see that coming... sad
Incontinentia_Buttux
Seeing as though it's the mainstream media.... I think this is to get people panic buying again, supermarkets can make more money, food manufacturing can work at full capacity again. Like I say, i work in the food industry and can't see any problems, just manufacturers not operating at full because demand is low!!! I shouldn't complain because it makes my job more secure and my pay higher!!!

Itsjaybigjay
I needed to get potatoes today I usually get a 7.5 Kg sack for just over £2 from a local independent supermarket. all they had where new potato s in little packs for nearly £2, so i went to Aldi which is the only big supermarket i use. Same story there, all they had where the expensive ones in small packs. unfortunately the earliest of my own crop are a couple of months off of harvest yet. least if things do get worse later in the year I'm pretty sorted for veg. Pawson13
A supplier of mine who imports those big white builders bags that carry sand and aggregates says that there is a shipping container shortage. He says that at Felixstowe docks there are 11,000 (Eleven THOUSDAND) shipping containers full of PPE, owned by the government. They could be emptied into a warehouse to release those containers to use for food imports. I wonder if THEY are deliberately keeping those containers full to cause the shortage, or indeed, they are full of anything at all. Does anyone on here have any contacts at Felixstowe, that can confirm this?
