I was told that when we die, NOT to head towards the light as it's a trap. What are your thoughts on this? Is it the attraction of the false light that gets us to come back into the endless psychodrama of reincarnation and 'life' (trauma-bonded existence) on this material plane?

I’ve heard that the idea we shouldn’t go to the light is disinfo, how could we really know what the truth is. But I remember Simon Parkes saying don’t go to the light, reincarnation trap and all that, and I do not trust him in the slightest, so that’s my thoughts on it.

Thanks for the reply. I tend to agree with that. No one can know what the truth is. We only have the perspective of being alive, here on Earth. How can we know what the light represents? Maybe just a dying brain short-circuiting?

Or new light the soul leaving the body maybe. Also another thought I had is if we reject the light and go into the dark, what’s next, do we just sit there forever and what else would be around, a creepy thought for me. Another theory I’ve heard is the white light is a trap, golden light is the one we want, again how can I possibly know. Hearing a randomer on the internet who claims to be spiritual isn’t the best evidence about

I'll head away from it too. The dynamic of it is abusive. The physical realm blocks a certain amount of spiritual connection, and if you are born with the so-called 'karma' of a person who is abused within the family unit, (and outside of it too), as I was, it is made incredibly difficult to strengthen your spiritual connection and receive guidance. That is abusive. Not just abuse, but sickening abuse. 

 

People go towards that light because we are all told to by people whom have had NDEs. People come back because of grief/remorse and also because, I think, these motherfuckers called the "Lords of Karma" shame, manipulate and coerce them into it. I would take a million lifetimes of learning soul lessons at a slow, retarded level over coming back to this place for one lifetime. 

 

I have suffered to a degree I literally would not wish on anyone, ever. It's the powerlessness that's the worse. The knowing that every time you have any kind of relationship, it's going to be someone who violates your boundaries and/or doesn't give a crap, purely because of repetition compulsion and that's what you experienced as your norm in childhood. And then, over and above, knowing that healing is made more difficult by having been raised in a family in which you were literally threatened with violence for even having feelings.

 

No, seriously, I am not coming back to this fucking place. I swear. Sorry for the long rant, but not really. I just can't be fucking bothered with anything any more.

I agree. Have you noticed that NDE's always tally with the spiritual and/or religious traditions of the families these people grew up in? They never come back and say "I was introduced to a Spider god who told me that I too could become a Master Weaver of the Ether." It's usually Jesus, angels and celestial realms.

NDE's get that demonstrated what they can handle. It means the familiar illusions of this layer are reflected in the other layer. No one should delude themselves that even one came back with real information. You can only see what you can understand. It is an endless repetition of the same old patterns. Light, love, familiar silhouettes, and you go back. When nothing is properly reflected, you see something of which you have no explanatory pattern. And you can neither perceive the real image nor process it at an appropriate speed.
