Anti Facts Sir
"Inherited thinking". At least they're using their brains, unlike the virtue signalling prat you are, Southgate. Put a football team together to win matches. We have enough woke social worker wankers.
Mr H
I find it astonishing that they make a big deal in the name of a criminal who died by bad policing a couple of years ago - yet holier than though Gareth is happy for his team to play in a world cup where approx 10,000 slave workers have apparently died in building the stadia and infrastructure for the tournament and god knows what other atrocities.

The virtue signalling somehow combined with the ignorance of actual humanitarian issues will never fail to amaze me whilst people continue to be spoon fed warm diarrhea from the mainstream media. I include talking heads, celebrities, everyone propagating such obvious bollocks, but its only obvious once you step back from it all. I do get it on the other side of this, I really do, I believed what I was told, read, saw. But its all just a narrative to sell you a story that keeps you mindlessly going about your day.

Yeah the cognitive dissonance and hypocrisy is off the scale.
Athenry04
Personally hope England get badly beaten in every match, can't stand the national team, the FA, or most of their fanbase. And anyone playing that fucking anthem and singing it, gets my absolute scorn.

Anti Facts Sir
Pity this nonsense has to continue...the women's match the other night had all the usual guff....captain with the rainbow band, the team with black armbands due to the death of someone related to the manager, knee taken....on and on on...the dopey male commentator even made sure to remind us all of it again 20+mins into the game. Unnecessary, of course. And one of the team has recovered from "covid". FFS. As I say, pity because this England Women's side is fantastic to watch. Proper stuff. And Emma Hayes' commentary knocks all the idiotic blokes out of the park. 9,000 went to watch. So for all the hype, they're still getting Third Division attendances for international matches. I actually brought into the womens game a bit. But not under any political reason. I actually enjoyed the womens world cup. Cant be bothered with any of it anymore

spideysensei
England women are on fire. I've never seen any women play this well, 6-0 at half time against a highly rated side. How far up the men's pyramid could they compete? I think they're technically as good as championship or league 1 teams, just lacking physicality.

The 5-1 against Holland the other week (albeit a friendly) was incredible. The skill, the tempo, the teamwork. There are no weak links. Even the subs are as good, sometimes better. The manager is clearly very good at what she does. This team were a bad joke under Phil Neville.

Another plus for England women and some of the others i've seen, they actually look like their nationality full of gorgeous sleek white women. Aside from Italy/France the other day, when if you didn't know who was playing in what strip, you'd struggle to identify the country. Been a big drive to wokeify Italy in the past few years it seems.

I am wondering when the fact that this new England Women's coach clearly doesn't worry about diversity and picking lots of black players will be picked up on. Maybe when the results don't go her way. Many times lately there have been 11 white players starting, with just one or two of the black players having fringe parts off the bench. There are some fantastically talented women in this team. They have real character too, not just skill.

Yeah i don't doubt it'll be when results don't go her way, or if she falls out with the FA (or whoever her bosses are). If/when they want her gone, msm will be full of the usual hit pieces and character assassinations, probably a made up racism story or summat. But yeah they'd be mad to criticise that right now, i think they even know that unless someone wanted to try and sabotage their tournament. Wouldn't put it past some fuckers.

Yeah that was a few years ago....Alex Scott - the only black player there - was a top full-back. 140 caps, as the BBC always remind us when she's on screen as a presenter. I find her insufferable as a pundit, but she was excellent on the field. As were women like Rachel Yankee, Anita Asante, Eni Aluko....but for whatever reason, there haven't been many black players coming through. And the three in the current squad aren't good enough for the starting 11 anymore, which some bosses would have ignored in the rush to look good on diversity. But this new coach just called it as it is, and dropped them. She gave them chances, but they simply weren't having any impact.
Anti Facts Sir
Good grief, the BBC coverage of this Euros is totally SHITE. Except for one thing. Apologies for the shallowness, but the only reason to bother with the appalling commentaries, lame punditry and endless propaganda is the stunning blonde who graces the Dutch matches... Anouk Hoogendijk. Former No.6 for the Dutch team back in the days when they weren't champions. I didn't actually recognise her, as when she played she looked a bit different (but still stunning, I recognised the name immediately when the captions came on). (I've watched a lot of women's football over the last 18 years and she could play a bit). She's stylish, funny and makes the other gabbling pundits look like muppets. The BBC probably won't ask her back too many times...

Often the tv here gets muted as soon as the half or full time whistle blows. At least Lineker is out of the picture on this one, and Logan is tolerable. No worries about being shallow, we appreciate the game they play also so i feel no remorse! I'm a sucker for tomboys so i quite like Vivianne Miedema of Holland/Arsenal and Beth Mead. In our team we've got a varied bunch of lovely ladies. Millie Bright the John Terry like centre back, an absolute beast of a woman, but i've also seen her ping some fantastic long range passes. I love strong women, they don't intimidate me at all. God damn i'm turning into a feminist lately We've got an Arya Stark lookalike in Stanway and more classically beautiful women like Rachel Daly. And nothing to do with looks, but i'm certain that Lucy Bronze is our most gifted player. Her technique, passing, reading of the game is another level. Her and Ellen White, probably on a par. Different positions obviously.
Anti Facts Sir
The whole England team/squad are just fantastic players. The captain is so elegant, the way she moves with the ball and passes it...Lauren Hemp is better than any women player I've seen since maybe Kelly Smith (in fact she's better). The goalie makes me laugh, she's a nutcase but in a good way. Russo up front, when she gets a chance, is brilliant. Toone may be the best attacking midfielder we've had in years. It's nice to be able to think in these terms. The side under mupper Neville were a bad joke. The players looked totally pissed off.
