John Lewis used to be bulletproof on the High Street....however bad things were, they would still thrive and do better than the rest. They had the highest-rated customer service, the Never Undersold pledge, the stores just felt calmer and more pleasant than anywhere else. Now they are only propped up by a £300m loan from her mates at the Bank of England, she has trashed their reputation for service and shopping experience, she brought the former chairman to actual tears by refusing to "save" the flagship Birmingham store. It was the ONLY remaining "true to their word" retailer left and I felt really let down seeing this advert. John Lewis was a pleasure to spend money with and I done nothing but tell people to support them over the years. We are now in an Amazon run world with drones soon to be dropping off your goods and robots at the other end of the phone when there is a problem with the drone (at least the robot will speak English though). The company had morals unlike everything today. Once Amazon have complete control of EVERYTHING then watch the perks disappear over night. As mentioned by Anti Facts they have been bought out and are now owned by the cabal. To be used and abused off the back of the excellent and well deserved brand name they have built up over the years. Once the cabal agendas have been pushed,then they sadly will be on the Amazon log pile with all the other fallen giants. You edited your post after I read it, but I didn't like the advert because it's designed to upset people, and unfortunately, controversial adverts gain a lot of publicity and free advertising.
