King Solomon

Recommended Posts

King Solomon was known for his wisdom, his wealth and his writings. He became ruler in approximately 967 B.C.E. and his kingdom extended from the Euphrates River in the north to Egypt in the south. His crowning achievement was the building of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. Almost all knowledge of him is derived from the biblical books of Kings I and Chronicles II.

Solomon accumulated enormous wealth. He controlled the entire region west of the Euphrates and had peace on his borders. Kings I states that he owned 12,000 horses with horsemen and 1,400 chariots. Remains of stalls for 450 horses have in fact been found in Megiddo, the place where Armageddon  is to take place.

People from surrounding nations also came to hear Solomon’s wisdom. He composed 3,000 proverbs and 1,005 songs. He wrote the Song of Songs, the Book of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes.

One thing he is famous for, though, according to Jewish tradition, he knew everything. He knew as much as God knew.

Solomon's legend comes down to us in many forms: Some thought he could turn lead into gold, conjure demons or become invisible. Jamaicans credit him with discovering marijuana, which they called the Wisdom Weed.

In order to build the temple, there were secrets he could only learn by capturing a demon. The demon gets loose and does terrible things to Solomon.

An Early Method Of Solomon's DNA forensics

This story starts off with this rich guy who sends his son to Africa on business, he goes off to Africa  for a couple of months, while the son is in Africa his father dies. Upon the sons return he finds out that one of the slaves has made claim to his father's estate in the pretence that he was his son. However the real son took his claim to Solomon.

To solve this problem, Solomon had the sons father's body exhumed, then had the slave and the son give him some of their blood. Solomon took their blood and poured it on the father's bones, whereby the slaves blood did not affinity, but the real sons permeated it, and so the son won his case.

Sheba's hairy legs

I also found it interesting to read that When the queen of Sheba arrived and came to Solomon's palace, thinking that the glass floor was a pool of water, she lifted the hem of her dress, uncovering her legs. Solomon informed her of her mistake and reprimanded her for her hairy legs.

I believe that Solomon could conjure up Demons at will with his famous Ring that he received from God himself.

Considering judaism, is the most eclectic religion out there, meaning they stole bits and bobs from all others.

One would suspect that king solomon, was really the sun in the sky. sol = sun

One minute they were worshipping, the sun, then moon, then jupiter, then who ever.

People should appreciate judaism, has never been one fixed thing, and they always have been changing it.

In what way has it been changed ?:classic_unsure:

Here's a breakdown of the name and its meaning -

The biblical King Solomon was known for his wisdom, his wealth, and his writings. The name solomon is derived from the words sol, om and on. The meaning of the word sol is the second sun, light, soul and also peace. The meaning of om is the sacred syllable used to represent God, the Logos, anima mundi or world soul. On means being, and also a movement, action, or some type of power supply.

The below extract comes from 'Ancient Sun God by Hilton Hotema' and reflects the view of theosophists, spiritualists and even biblical, and other, scholars.

Ancient Sun God

P22
All gods and saviours began as symbols of the Sun, then the Sun was forgotten and the gods and saviours became actual persons. The Sun was personified in such divinities as Brahma, Mithra, Osiris, Adonis, and Jesus. The the Sun was forgotten and these figures became real persons.

In his great work 'Science Of Religion,' Max Muller wrote:

The Hebrews worshipped the Sun, Moon, Stars, and 'all the host of heaven.' "El" which means 'the strong one in heaven' --the Sun-- was invoked by the ancestors of all Semitic nations before there were Babylonians in Babylon, Phenicians in Sydon and Tyrus, before there were Jews in Jerusalem...

Although a lot of these stories and writings have Astrotheological roots, but the Sun allegory serves as a mode to communicate higher knowledge, indeed it can be said ALL these writings are allegorically related to astrological events and stories, and to a varying degree thats true, but thats not the complete picture in my opinion. Its simply the root theme of the tapestry story which contain hidden meanings that its trying to relay or preserve.
