At an Orthodox Church I've been attending here in my city, after the liturgy, we went for coffee in the amenity room. I wasn't completely surprised to discover that some members of that community who were sitting at my table, openly claimed to be in support of communism and militant Orthodoxy.
 
I had one guy across from me saying that Orthodox are warriors and in Russia it's considered a type of protection when military jets painted with Orthodox icons patrol the skies. He went on to say that not all angels are peacemakers, and that we must destroy the demons, that we've had saints in our Church who were warriors, and so on, and so on. 
 
Now either he was pulling my leg or he actually believes that propaganda. I, on the other hand, completely disagree with weaponizing Christianity.
 
History has shown us in the past how dangerous that can be. But each one of us has the free will to choose our own path.

Has the Neo-Russian Orthodox Church been infiltrated and influenced by Occultists?
 
Alexsandr Dugin is but one example of influential people who appears to have had an interest in the occult. How many more people, both men and women are like him on the political and religious stage, yet still remain hidden?

Although there is no certainty whether Putin's advisor still explores these esoteric practices, his influence in Russian geopolitics and Church affairs however is unquestionable. Should this be of concern to Orthodox Christians? It seems Dugin could either be fusing occultism with Orthodoxy, or he's using occultism to influence and control aspects of the Church and the Orthodox community. If so this is nothing new as many cults and sects existed in Orthodox circles over the centuries.

What stops us from being thankful in our lives and why don't we do this more often?

The Soviet ☭ authorities did not allow a priest either into prisons or into camps; and He chooses me, a young, inexperienced priest and sends me first to prison and then to camp to look after his lost sheep.”
 
There was nothing in him but gratitude and joy. And that joy, that kind of gratitude against the history of his life was truly an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The martyrs were frail, as frail as we were, but they abandoned themselves to God and they lived and died in the power of the Spirit. We need that strength.

Nowadays many ethnic nationalist groups tend to gravitate towards the pagan belief systems of their ancestors, while others identify as Christians. 
 
Although communist/marxists ☭ seem to be more secular and atheistic, they too have their part to play in this hypocrisy. 
 
Behind closed doors, both members of the far right and the far left appear to dabble in the occult.
Have angelic and demonic forces infiltrated all levels of government and religious institutions? 
Many secret societies could be involved, and some appear to be at odds with each other. 
 
In Russia and Ukraine are other faiths like Islam, or Buddhism weaponized as Orthodox Christianity currently is?

The obvious answer is to obtain wealth, influence, and power. However, the people or unseen forces pulling the strings, already have all the wealth, influence, and power they need. 
 
So why all the chaos and destruction? 
 
Because they're after Christ, 
They've always been after Christ!

These demonic puppet masters infiltrated the Church to manipulate and destroy it from within. 
And they hurt Jesus by tricking Orthodox Christians to fight against each another.
